What’s the movie Good Will Hunting about?
The most brilliant mind at America's top university isn't a student, he's the kid who cleans the floors. Will Hunting (Matt Damon) is a headstrong, working-class genius who is failing the lessons of life. After one too many run-ins with the law, Will's last chance is a psychology professor (Robin Williams), who might be the only man who can reach him. Finally forced to deal with his past, Will discovers that the only one holding him back is himself.
Written by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, this Academy award winning movie is a little work of art featuring many brilliant actors such as the writers themselves as well as Robin Williams, Stellan Skarsgard amongst others.

@@andrewmarshall7569 Great actor in drama, 30 seconds of comedy and he'd have you wheezing. Literally, me as a kid listening to the Night at the Met album, had to use my inhaler 3 times in 5 minutes. Live on broadway, me and my friends punching the couch from laughing.

It’s surreal how many parents abuse their children. At minimum half our world is populated with adults who survived severe trauma as kids but are broken because of it. The parents who abuse their kids are such fools. They are missing one of the only good things about living - getting to love others - serve them - be in a family. They’re missing it. Taking out their own pain on their own babies - physically and sexually. It’s gut wrenching. It’s so common.

    • @ehodaef

Children internalize parents at their worst. Parents are adults figuring out life for the first time just like you. There is no blame. It's just life. Move on.
