This is so good and exactly how I expect their relationship to be when Lilith left. Except I'm really curious about why she kept Charlie away from her father. (They both were surprised to hear that the other thought they didn't want to see the other.) It seems like she had a reason to separate them, which had a negative impact on both of them, so what is she trying to gain? Is she trying to sabotage Charlie's hotel? Or ensure she's successful? Why did she make a deal with Adam? Does Lilith own Alastor's soul? I'm so curious about how the story will unfold!
We don't actually know if she tried to separate Luc and Charlie. All we have is that one clip of Lilith in "More than anything". Many people have pointed out that it looks like Baby Charlie is wearing a nightgown, so it's very possible that she just sneaked into Lucifers room before going to bed. And of course they thought the other person doesn't like them. Lucifer hadn't really been there for Charlie when she was young, so she believed that he doesn't care about her. And Lucifer simply didn't know how to connect with his daughter, because he is very awkward and cause he feels guilty about their past relationship. But even if it turns out that Lilith did actually try to separate them, what would she gain from that? The only thing I could imagine is her not wanting that Charlie turns out like her father, depressed and hopeless. Like, I know people assume she'll be a big villain, but I don't think it will be as black and white as people make it out to be. Sure, the last clip in the finale doesn't make her look great. But I think people forget that Lilith and Charlie seemed to have a positive relationship before Lilith disappeared. There is a reason why Charlie calls her in the pilot. And we see photos in Lucifers room where all of them look like a normal happy family. I can't imagine that she stayed with them for such a long time and then suddenly decided to abandon them to chill in heaven. And if Alastor really made a deal with her and she sent him to the hotel, then it was probably to help out her daughter. Considering that Alastor didn't actually do anything to sabotage the hotel, he was constantly helping Charlie. I've also seen people say that Lilith is a bad mother because she is relaxing in heaven while her daughter is in danger, but like....does she even know Charlie was in danger? Cause the Exorcists usually aren't allowed to hurt Charlie and I don't think Adam would tell her that he's gonna kill her daughter. Sorry for the long rant, I just find Lilith very interesting
So I don't necessarily want Lilith to be a villain but I would like her to be a little toxic because that would make things interesting. I love the happy morningstar family motif and I would love for them to reconcile. There's a theory that since Adam represents toxic masculinity that maybe Lilith will represent toxic femininity. I find that idea fascinating and would like her to have a positive and negative side to her. Just like how Lucifer has positive and negative qualities. I agree that the flashback could just be her getting Charlie ready for bed but Lucifer's reaction seemed really heavy in that memory and it seems to imply a separation beyond a bedtime routine took place without coming right out and saying it. I think Lucifer doesn't want to blame Lilith for anything especially taking care not to taint Charlie's memory of her mother. I also think he's still very much in love with her. We don't get to see Lilith's left hand in the finale but next season if she's wearing her wedding ring or not wearing it will say a lot about her feelings for Lucifer. I have an open mind to accept what Vivziepop has planned. I'm just hopeful that Lilith has some negative traits because I think that will make her far more interesting.

Words cannot express how insanely good this is 🤩 The expressions, the character postures and even the idea of Lilith commanding the Exorcists. We definitely need a scene like this in Season Two. I really hope that they get an equally powerful voice for Lilith . One that can match not only Jeremy Jordan (Lucifer’s VA), but also Erika Hennigson and Stephanie Beatriz’s (Charlie and Vaggie’s VAs).
Considering that the animator reproduces the theory that Lilith and Eve are stuck in the same body and it is actually Eve who speaks to Lucifer, then she really has nothing to lose, Cain is cursed, Abel is gone, or he is in hell or wandering as a ghost, Adam's soul is erased, in relation to others children are either in hell or were erased, forgotten, maybe even some of them live peacefully in heaven, but having a not very good relationship with their parents. Eve's family was divided by sin, from the fruit that Eve bitten, from the fruit that Lucifer gave her (who did not even think to check what this fruit was and what the consequences might be) telling her about freedom and dooming her and her descendants to sin and hell. So Eva really has nothing left to lose because she has already lost everything
This fits so perfectly and it's the original voice of Lucifer, amazing animation and drawings they are very detailed. I can't wait for second season to see if something similar happens to Lilith because this seems accurate

OMG I'm glad to see at the end that it's not what we think it is... . Moreover, this clip also gives me another set of stories. I can totally see that this could be how the extermination deal all starts. . Lilith was rebalanced and started to think Hell was strong enough to challenge Heaven many years ago, as Charlie mentioned in her book. Lucifer tried to stop her, but the rage and craving for revenge blinded her. And when Her Hell army lost to heaven, the only thing that can guarantee hell will never rise against heaven again is for Lucifer to agree to the deal of yearly extermination to keep the hell population in check. This might even be the price to pay for them to spare Lilith's life... Imagine Lucifer's hands are tied here, and Charlie thinks all of pain and suffering her people are facing this is her father's fault.😢 . The animation and everything here is amazing!

If you look at the book closely it shows that Luci wants to find a peaceful way to rule the kingdom and by the looks of how awful it got; my head canon fan fiction; the people began to revolt with her songs; that is why Luci had given up.. Lilith took all the attention from Charlie and swept him to the side. That is why Adam calls him a clown. They want power, not joy!
I don't think Lucifer ever wanted to rule over hell. He didn't even seem to like the sinners before episode 5. And Charlie says it herself in the beginning of the show. He never got to see the good parts of humanity, all he saw were the cruel and wicked people. He was also angry at the sinners for using his gift of free will to do evil shit. Ironically enough, Lucifer and Adam both seemed to have a similar view when it came to sinners. Both of them thought that sinners just suck and that they'll never be able to change for the better

Words cannot express how insanely good this is 🤩 The expressions, the character postures and even the idea of Lilith commanding the Exorcists. We definitely need a scene like this in Season Two. I really hope that they get an equally powerful voice for Lilith . One that can match not only Jeremy Jordan (Lucifer’s VA), but also Erika Hennigson and Stephanie Beatriz’s (Charlie and Vaggie’s VAs).

Considering that the animator reproduces the theory that Lilith and Eve are stuck in the same body and it is actually Eve who speaks to Lucifer, then she really has nothing to lose, Cain is cursed, Abel is gone, or he is in hell or wandering as a ghost, Adam's soul is erased, in relation to others children are either in hell or were erased, forgotten, maybe even some of them live peacefully in heaven, but having a not very good relationship with their parents. Eve's family was divided by sin, from the fruit that Eve bitten, from the fruit that Lucifer gave her (who did not even think to check what this fruit was and what the consequences might be) telling her about freedom and dooming her and her descendants to sin and hell. So Eva really has nothing left to lose because she has already lost everything
I really hope we get a confrontation scene between Lucifer and Lilith (kinda like this one) in the next season. That would be so cool!
This fits so perfectly and it's the original voice of Lucifer, amazing animation and drawings they are very detailed. I can't wait for second season to see if something similar happens to Lilith because this seems accurate

The fact Jeremy Jordan voices both characters, the fact we don’t know Lilith’s voice or motivations, just that she clearly works with the exorcists, the song fitting so well with Lucifer’s background! Lilith was rebalanced and started to think Hell was strong enough to challenge Heaven many years ago, as Charlie mentioned in her book. Lucifer tried to stop her, but the rage and craving for revenge blinded her. And when Her Hell army lost to heaven, the only thing that can guarantee hell will never rise against heaven again is for Lucifer to agree to the deal of yearly extermination to keep the hell population in check. This might even be the price to pay for them to spare Lilith's life... Imagine Lucifer's hands are tied here, and Charlie thinks all of pain and suffering her people are facing this is her father's fault.😢

Thought I gotta admit I would be kinda sad if Lucifer and Lilith had a fight like this,that would totally would fit with how they are not longer together despite the fact that deep down they might still carer for one another .Also ,the scenes for the animatic were choosen perfectly and I loved that suspense in the ending with Eve 🥰

If you look at the book closely it shows that Luci wants to find a peaceful way to rule the kingdom and by the looks of how awful it got; my head canon fan fiction; the people began to revolt with her songs; that is why Luci had given up.. Lilith took all the attention from Charlie and swept him to the side. That is why Adam calls him a clown. They want power, not joy!
I don't think Lucifer ever wanted to rule over hell. He didn't even seem to like the sinners before episode 5. And Charlie says it herself in the beginning of the show. He never got to see the good parts of humanity, all he saw were the cruel and wicked people. He was also angry at the sinners for using his gift of free will to do evil shit. Ironically enough, Lucifer and Adam both seemed to have a similar view when it came to sinners. Both of them thought that sinners just suck and that they'll never be able to change for the better
