Should've been introduced in s2, now that of course the Vees are confirmed to be antagonists next season. I love the animatic, it made me feel a much bigger emotional impact and to care about these characters, more than the show even did. the ending finale was supposed to be emotionally impactful for the audience, but we barely had time to connect with the characters. Felt like I missed watching at least 40 episodes. felt like I watched 4 seasons in 1 season. felt like I watched only 8 disjointed episodes of those 4 seasons.

Making Lucifer Varian because they're voiced by Jeremy Jordan is the best. This is so perfect. Lucifer knows what he did was wrong and regrets it deeply. I love this so much.
What makes you think Lucifer regrets anything he did... that is not implied in any way in the show OR this version of him in the song... "Whatever I've done, you deserved." "I'll stand up and fight 'cause I know that I'm right." The only things he might regret are not succeeding the first time around, or letting his broken pride get in the way of helping Charlie, which he overcame.
The fact they tooe a song about two sides about yo battle and made it about one standing up together, I didn't even mind the voices overlapping or being abit weird

What a masterpiece, i love to see lucifer stand up to the higher angels and knowing what the consequences would be if he stopped following their regime while at the same time being shocked and fearing that they would without a doubt have their spears aimed at him ready to cast him out, like he knows but also doesn't know what the angels are truly capable of if someone stands up to them. Also a nice touch at the end seeing lucifer pretending to crush heaven or having heaven in his hands/control. ❤💯👍

This was really well done. I knew the VA connection so I was interested to see what you'd do with the story board and other characters and it feels like this would've been a natural addition to the show if they had chosen to go with "uniting hell" route.
It truly delivers home this song even further when taking into account everyone's circumstance. For once, Lucifer poetically fits Varian's lines, cause the twisted irony of Heaven being the merciless executioners, and that Luci here has been banished from that realm of goodness. His own daughter is making an effort to redeem Sinners, a DEMON, giving second chances to supposed heartless people when nobody else would, not even Angels who are suppose to embody goodness and compassion yet they turn a blind eye due to their own strict morals.
