- It took me forever to finish, but ayyy finally here it is
A lot of you might be confused about what happened in the video, so here's an explanation:
Heaven still refuses to stop exterminations, and Lucifer has enough of it and decides to meet with Sera to negotiate. She tells him that there's nothing they can do about it (she keeps the fact that Sir Pentious was redeemed a secret). Lucifer, inspired by Charlie's attempts to save sinners, declares a war between two realms. So Heaven recruits new exorcist angels and under Lute's lead secretly prepares for a fight. This time the battle is not only about the hotel, but whole Hell, and that's why also the Vees etc prepare for it.
I hope it makes sense or sthhh… anyways if there are any plot holes just ignore them and forgive me 😔

Lucifer or Varian, he's always the short king.
I mean, according to the Apocryphal texts she’s from, Seraphiel (the basis for Sera) is as tall as Heaven itself. So EVERYONE is a short king by comparison!
I heard somewhere that the more a soul's power is used the stronger they get (which is why the overlords are the most powerful the more monopoly they have, why the V's try to get everyone addicted to the medium that fuels their power). I wonder if there's a correlation between that and their size, the way Alastor held his tall form while people were actively listening to his broadcast, and if maybe Sera is also fueling off of heaven's power (or of its numbers being greater than hell's)

@@sowenia9725 Lute has both arms though. There's many reasons Adam might not be at the peptalk, he's clearly never thought anything was more important than himself, and whatever he feels like doing at the time.
@@violetlupus5676 Only angellic weapons seems to be the cause for angels and demons to die for good and not "regenerate" or "come back after being killed".
So it's safe to say, her ripping off her own arm under a boulder doesn't mean it's gone forever. She'll most likely get it back.

Take for instance, Vaggie's wings. they got RIPPED off. But they regenerated and she now has her wings again.
But her eye, which was gorged out from an angellic weapon and stabbed afterwards hasn't regenerated.

Jeremy Jordan is such a talent. Even though he voices both Varian and Lucifer, he makes both their singing voices sound quite distinct. And he obviously sounds amazing as them.

I honestly figured he's guarded by other archangels to ensure he doesn't interfere until Adam broke his deal to leave the hellborn alone. Like Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, Azrael, and Raphael are just babysitting him until Adam told Charlie it was time to die, then they were like "Okay, he threatened our niece with the intent to kill, now you can go mess him up."

You know what makes this better? The voice actor for Varian (guy who starts the song in the show it was written for) is ALSO Lucifer's voice actor. So yeah, this is perfect!

Yeah I love the idea of everyone including the Vees being in the fight for the hotel, but then Roo just watching everything unfold was an interesting idea

i LOVE this. 1) that varian and lucifer are actually done by the same guy so lucifer is actually in varian's place. 2) even tho in the original it was raps and her dad against varian, i love that this has them on the same side cuz without the context of the original, it totally fits. so damn good
Even with context I find this fits. Lucifer here fights for his home and family same with Charlie. Because of everything that heaven did to their family and now new home and they’ve had enough

At the start, I thought this was showing the distant past when Lucifer first fell from grace and was banished to Hell. It actually works up until they showed Charlie and the hotel denizens

Jeremy definitely made his voice sound a little more younger here than he did for Lucifer. I can tell theres a bit of a voice break, obviously a character choice for a growing teenager to sound like.
