What’s interesting is the steel guitars used a lot in country music but it’s also used a lot in Hawaiian music. That same sound. As a southerner that was raised on this music, it’s an honor that someone from a very different culture such as yourself can enjoy and appreciate it. I know a lot of people will talk down about country, but if people would give it a chance, they’d find it’s not so bad. Hank Sr. was an alcoholic and due to being born with back injuries he got to be a drug addict doctor prescribed. He died at 29. Jr was only 3. And got addicted to the same. Jr's son Hank III ...the same.

That’s why he always has a beard. A father and son were on the climb with him. The boy stayed with Bocephus and talk with him. Keeping him alive until his father could bring help.
