Su Wei hasn’t lost her touch. She reads the court like a magician.
I know. She is amazing. Go Hsie
Yes, that match point, she just glided to the right and smashed the ball. Crazy good.
@@michaelyeopo Su Wei is working obeah in the court. I am going to get her for that. LOL She is a darling.
the finishing touch of the match point was so bad ass
Watched her play the semifinals, worked great with sang.
Wow. Hsieh is perhaps one of the greatest doubles players.
Greatest double player is SERENA WILLIAMS as well as single

@@Karlmarx-r9d lmao😀
@@Karlmarx-r9dnavratilova is the best doubles player.
@@Karlmarx-r9dbruh. Navratilova has 31 doubles and 10 mixed major. It's easy to say she's the greatest double player.
Congratulations to Wang and Hsieh. What a comeback from a set down and also a come back from taking a break and win another Grand Slam title for Hsieh. She must be so happy!
Hsieh is a lucky star!
happy for hsieh to still be winning
same, especially when the Chans are losing
They are both unbelievable
I miss Hsie in singles win or lose always entertaining
@@InfinityX2does she not play singles anymore? I miss seeing her 😢
@@evanh7072 well i haven’t seen her play this year. Just checked and she played two singles matches this year (2-1)
This is one of the most incredible comeback stories and it won’t get nearly the recognition it deserves. Congrats Su-Wei!!
and Wang. 🙏
What makes you think it won't get the recognition it deserves? I kind of think this is a thing people say without regard for facts.
@@zweigackroyd7301 Because it's women's doubles tennis and sadly it doesn't get the same hype as mens singles for example 🙃
@@bernardocabrera8995 So I happen to quite like doubles and watch as much WTA as ATP. What what defines "as it deserves." Compared to other tennis? Other sports? Other news stories? Other women's finals in any sport? Are you giving, say, your national chess championship the attention it deserves?
@@zweigackroyd7301 you must be fun at parties
Congratulations the magician su wei and xing yang 🎉 especially su wei after almost 2 years absent and then clinch the double grand slam. Absolutely amazing!
2 years? Why so long?
@@gingerorange2655 she gave birth
Did she also have a baby or out with injuries? Her usual doubles partner Barbora had a baby for sure 😆
To win on clay , with all the sliding around su wei just floats. Looking forward to seeing her at Wimbledon and before that other grass court tournament.
so good to see Hsieh playing alongside Wang and winning
hopefully this will be a start of more for both ladies
Su-Wei was so good in that second set, showed why she's one of the best doubles players of all time. And once Xinyu started making shots in the third... it was over. Though I was hoping to see Su-Wei and Strycova back together for Wimbledon, I'd love to see this team stay together.
@MadAre you serious? Wow I thought they just want to comeback in Madrid, but hopefully Hsieh can team up with Wang again after separate with Strycova this year
After the set, most people probably just think that Fernandez and Townsend are going to win the match. But, what a surprise and comeback! Good job!
Hsieh is one of the craftiest players I've ever witnessed! She's not the fastest or strongest but she gets by with smarts and angles! She's the perfect doubles partner!.
5th Grand Slam title for Hsieh and first for Wang, love this new combo so much! I'd like to see more of you guys in the future, congrats 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Suwei’s serve receiving is so underrated. Barely missed and quite stable. It’s a key factor to survive in second set.
exactly!
I miss hsieh playing singles!her game is different but very entertaining when she beats the top players!
Amazing Su Wei she always give her best in every partner to win .. Congrats..
Not usually a doubles fan, but if Hsieh is playing, I am interested! Loved watching her play singles, and always huge respect. I also am a growing fan of Xinyu Wang. She is adorable! I imagine Leylah wishes she was playing singles in a marquee situation but advancing far into tourneys has become more difficult for her of late. But at least she got to a final at the French Open. That's nothing to sneeze at.
Nice comment
Congratulations, Hsieh/Wang 🏆👏👏👏
I love how Hsieh/Wang were the smarter strategic players & dominated the 3rd set! Bravo!
Glad to see Hsieh out there. I'd missed seeing her in singles. I know she probably still plays it, just that she hasn't done much lately. She always has had such a peculiar style of play that beffudled her opponents. Congrats to her and Wang for winning the doubles title. They came through after dropping the first set . . .
I saw her play for her Fed cup team 20 years ago.
She has not changed much, now 37 years old.
Congratulations 恭喜 王欣瑜/谢淑薇!🎉❤
Great match! Way to comeback - that's a true mark of a champion. Happy for Wang and Hsieh!
Very glad and excited to see the Chinese players win a grand slam title. This was definitely not easy, especially when Hsieh and Wang hasn't paired before, and Wang was even not known as a doubles player. Wang should thank Hsieh for inviting her to play together and enabling her to get such an honor which most tennis players can only dream about.
Hsieh isn't Chinese
@@dayostical Haha, I only referred to their ethnicity, not nationality 🙏
@@dayosticalROC
@@dayostical Then she’s Japanese?
@@dayostical you want admid or not..Xie Su Wei is Chinese..taiwan is not country and the world admid it
Wang has so much potential to move up the singles ranking, I hope this win gives her more confidence!
Especially after getting double bageled in singles from Swiatek.
@@TimmyVo734 Seems like this is either her first major tourney on clay or she hasn't played the surface much just based on her movement that match. Hopefully this gives her more confidence and experience
@@Mhochulyou can hardly find any clay courts in all of East Asia to be honest
@@Mhochul yeah for sure not dragging her for her performance against Swiatek.
Just reiterating that capping off a tournament with the Doubles trophy should hopefully build a world of confidence after exiting Singles in less than ideal way.
@@TimmyVo734 I think she was injured, because she can't move a lot against Swiatek, and you see her playing mixed double and she can move 100%
And she won 2 rounds in single. So she isn't really a bad player.
The legend is Back!!!! Go Su Wei!! Well done team Asia!
Hsieh is back!!! Let’s gooo! ❤❤❤ Glad the tennis she is still winning. She’s so sweet.
Well done!🎉🎉 cannot be happier to see the duo from cross strait winning a GS❤❤
This is not it I need LONGER highlights to fully appreciate Hsieh's majestic tennis magic!!!
no disrespect to the US pair, who are fineplayers, but this was a popular win; never a dull match when Su-Wei steps on court! and Wang clearly also a player to watch in teh future.
Fernandez is from Canada. It's a US- Canada Pair.
Happy to see another Chinese-culture team winning the major together since 9 years ago. Congratulations to Hsieh and Wang. What a match, what a comeback, what a team work!
Congrats to Hsieh and Wang! Talk about an unexpected run to the title. Hsieh was gone for a while. Good to see her magic wand in action again. 🔮
I remember hsieh facing henin in 2008 and she is still going on. Wow
same ! It was a long time ago
Smart win over power :)
Class win over no class (Townsend)
We need full match video, please ❤❤❤
que lindo ver a Su Wei desde su campeonato en wimbledon con Mertens en 2021, ella siempre tan talentosa! felicidades!!
RG: Victory belongs to the most tenacious.
Su-wei back on her winning ways. 5th GS WD 🏆🏆🏆🏆. Title #34
Feliz de ver campeona en dobles a Hsie, muy inteligente en su juego. Felicidades!!!!
Su-wei had a strong team mate and given her prowess in doubles there was no beating them. She plays smart and sails through!

Hsieh su wei such an amazing player🎉
The queen of doubs is back! ❤ 🏆
Watch the match point movements of the Su Wei!! So much fun to see! 😃
Amazing.what a comback! Cheers for the great partnership
Too much aggressive play by Townsend in the second set and underestimating Hsieh’s incredible skills cost them the title.
Agree, good observation.
How did Fernandez play? Was she a deadweight.
Not a dead weight. The other team played better and better, Townsend overplayed a bit.
@@MadmanGoneMad2012 'muricans can do no wrong, can they? Stay at your MAGA meetings and leave tennis alone.
@@MadmanGoneMad2012 why is that even a comment?
Just love su-wei. 38 and still the magician. Townsend and Fernandez's day will come and they played with tenacity but I'm so glad su-wei won.
The Ghetto Sisters will never win 😂😂😂
the brain is as thick as the belly
Congratulations to Hsieh and Wang! Nice work!
Great match. See-sawing encounter.
Great match
Well done to the Chinese couple! I've always been fascinated by Su-Wei's style of play.
Wang came back strong after her loss to Iga. Congrats!
Suwei is an honorary Parisian and Frenchwoman -- so this is a home title for her again! Congratulations!!!
Hsieh is eternal. ❤
Congrats Hsieh / Wang! Welcome back Magician!
So happy fr the Chinese duo to overcome the LOUD Aggressive typical American Townsend! Who thought she cud bully n intimidate them! She just got taught a humiliating lesson! Chinese Teamwork just crushed American Individual aggression! Take note USA/Rest of World!🤣
Selamat kepada Hsieh dan wang. Senang sekali liat Hsieh kembali bertanding dan langsung Juara. Mantap
Good to see Su Wei winning a championship on her comeback. I love how she play.
Wang smiles like a happy kid.
The final gets only a 3 minute highlights video? Sad.
Fernandez/Townsend 真實的呈現了一鼓作氣,再而衰,三而竭。
Congrat to Su Wei ~ Taiwan No.1 tennis player~
スーウェイの復帰が凄い嬉しい!優勝、おめでとう。
タウンゼントとフェルナンデスのペアも強かった〜。
I wish they all could have won. I love watching both these combinations. Happy for Su Wei as another Grand Slam Mum ;-)
Need a grand slam trophy? Partner with Su Wei. Amazing comeback and team and glad to see Su Wei back on the courts. Bravo!
Su Wei is LEGENDARY. She hasn't lost a step
She's back 🥺Not that's it's like she left or anything 😊
Good to see Hsieh again.
Su Wei is 100% legend
hsieh awesome 🤗
Fascinating winning team-up.
Congrats Wang & Hsieh For the cosmic form of this sensational doubles and excellent form. 😲🙄😯👏👏💥😎
Seeing Hsieh on court makes me happy
A defeat for poetry, with Leylah & Taylor's loss, but a pairing of the People's Republic of China and Chinese Taipei does have a poetry of its own, in a way. Hsieh Su-Wei is a bit of a favourite player of mine in any case.
Congratulations to Hsieh and Wang! I was cheering for Fernandez and Townsend - but the Chinese players were better in the second and third set.
One thing bothered me to no end. I watched the match on Tennis Channel. Even though both Fernandez and Townsend had magical moments and blunders in equal measure, the American commentators gave credit and praised (the American) Townsend all the time, while criticizing (the Canadian) Fernandez incessantly. Leaving aside the rah-rah-rah "America is the greatest" etc...the American commentators tried to sow discord between the two wonderful girls and friends (Leyla and Taylor).
remember, black lives matter
The Ghetto Sisters matter!😂😂😂😂
I totally noticed that too. Even when Leylah was playing very well in the first set, Martina could not say one nice thing about her,
They even ignored Hsieh and Wang before the final.
Su Wei is simply AMZING
I love Hsieh. I missed her!
Hsieh is an OG doubles player, so it was going to be tough for Townsend and Leylah.
full match please...
Amazing performance!
Love Hsieh's unique play/shots
Su wei is the real mastermind. She can literally pair with anyone and still win slams 🥷🏻
Congrats to both teams!
Congratulations 👏
Happy to see a Chinese and Taiwanese playing together, especially with so much tension between the two countries.
Get your facts right... only one country with minor internal strife. 😊
They speak the same language though.
Good game and effort for both players.
great job
恭喜“海峡”组合🎉❤
So happy and congratulations to hsieh, she's an amazing player 🎉🎉🎉
The Queen is back with bang 🏆🏆🏆
Congrats Hsieh and Wang! Hsieh really good in doubles
I did not watch the match but I infer by highlights that Townsend got overly excited and decided to whack every ball after winning the first set, then it turned into a singles-with-obstacles match for Fernández
Townsends overplayed in the second set and cast the dye for the third. I agree, Leylah trying to shorten the points didn’t help much either.
sheer beastly power outdone by Hsieh's wit
Su Wei is the best double player ever in woman's tennis.
I love Hsieh. She is unique.
I hear su-wei still want to play in singles and i hope next tournament director will give her some WC , we're still love her play in singles right , she so good , she said she still want play for next higher level even she said she the oldest player on wta tour (she laugh) but her passion like 15 , 16 years old girl..
They still got a trophy. I think Townsend and Leylah are just warming up and can far in doubles.
congratulations
suwei comeback.. go suwei go suwei🎉🎉
Su wei❤
FYI, these partners are Chinese and Taiwanese.
French Open should have dress code for ladies player. Townshed’s bodysuit seems out of place in a tennis court.
Love doubles
Su is outstanding
Huge congrats to Hsieh/Wang 🎉
