I hope you enjoy the video! These measure 5.5 inches (14 cm) and could also work well joined together as a blanket or as an applique. Let me know if you would like a tutorial on how to join to form a blanket. xx
Thank you so much, this was the easiest way to understand on how to not only make the round part but the flower itself, and having the instructions at the top was also very helpful!!!
These would make really pretty bunting. And. Of course it cute baby blanket would be cool too!! Thanks for the video your explanations of why certain steps are taken are appreciated
Another Perfect Tutorial! You have such a peaceful easy way about you..I almost think you were/are a teacher...if so..fortunate students. Blessings, Ms Roz
What a beauty… can you please turn these lovely flowers into a blanket that would be amazing ❤ Your voice is very soothing & calming like your tutorials ❤
I am soooo excited ! This is exactly what I have been looking for. I cant wait to start this project. I am going to try and make a "Grandmothers Garden" vintage afghan 🌸🌸
These are fun. Just what I needed for a break from other projects. I do love this yarn and they have so many colors but I just wish they'd carry more brights for summer. I think it would be fun to make these into a table runner.
It would make a perfect table runner! I recently posted a tutorial on joining these. ua-cam.com/video/IQnYA_SJQL0/v-deo.html I’m with you 🙌🏻 I wish there more colors. It’s a great yarn. One of the rare cottons I can physically work with and not get wrist pain .
Thanks much for your tutorial, I really appreciate your clear instructions & would be pleased if you also shared how to connect the flowers for a blanket. Much gratitude 💕🌸😉

@@PlayHookywithMe my kids and I love the garden. (I’m useless in the garden right now cuz I’m 7months pregnant lol) But even in winter it would be such a cheery thing to have. Thank you for sharing this pattern and explaining it so perfectly 🌸
thanks so much for such an adorable coaster! as soon as I saw this I began making it. I made mine with a 3.75 hook. it was kind of a shock at the end when I saw your cat as I have a maine coon mix, Jake, who looks very similar to yours, and just as I was slip stitching into the beginning stitch he climbed up onto my lap and laid across my arms preventing me from finishing, then the pic of your kitten came on the screen. too funny LOL
I have been looking at this for a bit now! Ok I am a dish cloth addict! But I also have a huge stash of Hobby Lobby Scrubology scrub it yarn ! How would this pattern adapt to that yarn? I just adore you, your videos and ease of tips ! ❤
@@PlayHookywithMe I added one more row of 5sc, inc but rather than affecting my number of petals it makes the middle part (different color) look a bit strange lol. Great pattern btw thank you SOOO much!! Been doing crochet for over a year your channel has been one of the best I've come across
Can you tell me where did you find the little thing that you use to weave the ends in, I've been using a tapestry needle and I find the yarn splits a lot of times? I really like this video, your voice is calm and there's no distracting noise. I also appreciate the pattern written at the top of the screen.
wait for row 3 if the increase is 1 sc + 1 then that’s 2 SC in one stitch so why does it matter the order or inc, 2sc or 2sc inc because arnt they both 2 sc in 1 stitch?
You’re doing 1 sc in the first stitch and then you are doing 2 sc’s in the next stitch . You’ll alternate that sequence. , 1,2,1,2 all the way around giving you a total of 18 stitches.
How can the fourth row have only 24 stitches. If row 3 has 18 & if you double stitch every other that would add an extra 9 stitches so then you would have 27?? What am I doing wrong?
I’m not sure what you’re doing wrong … you’ll indeed finish the round with 24 stitches . You’ll have 6 stitches that have 2 sc’s in it (12) and 12 stitches with only 1 sc in it (12) giving you 24.
I hope you enjoy the video! These measure 5.5 inches (14 cm) and could also work well joined together as a blanket or as an applique.

I’ve never use it before but I can’t see why it wouldn’t work well to turn this into a scrubby . The yarn weight looks similar! 💕
Do you skip a stitch after you do the chain two to create the hole for the petals ? 🌸✨️
No, you don’t skip any stitches . 💕
What would you recommend if I wanna make the middle of the flower bigger?
You could add more rounds but keep in mind , it will affect your placement for the petals. You’ll have to reconfigure that.
@@PlayHookywithMe I added one more row of 5sc, inc but rather than affecting my number of petals it makes the middle part (different color) look a bit strange lol.

Oh sure- that’s called a Susan bates finishing needle. There’s a link in the description box below the video or you can search Amazon . Thank you 🧶💕
@@PlayHookywithMe Thanks! 😁
Super cute! But I was always taught never to put a knot in my work. It's secured when one weaves in the ends.
