    I hope you enjoy the video! These measure 5.5 inches (14 cm) and could also work well joined together as a blanket or as an applique.
    Let me know if you would like a tutorial on how to join to form a blanket. xx

    thanks so much for such an adorable coaster! as soon as I saw this I began making it. I made mine with a 3.75 hook. it was kind of a shock at the end when I saw your cat as I have a maine coon mix, Jake, who looks very similar to yours, and just as I was slip stitching into the beginning stitch he climbed up onto my lap and laid across my arms preventing me from finishing, then the pic of your kitten came on the screen. too funny LOL

    What would you recommend if I wanna make the middle of the flower bigger?

    • @PlayHookywithMe
      @PlayHookywithMe  Рік тому

      You could add more rounds but keep in mind , it will affect your placement for the petals. You’ll have to reconfigure that.

      @@PlayHookywithMe I added one more row of 5sc, inc but rather than affecting my number of petals it makes the middle part (different color) look a bit strange lol.

    wait for row 3 if the increase is 1 sc + 1 then that’s 2 SC in one stitch so why does it matter the order or inc, 2sc or 2sc inc because arnt they both 2 sc in 1 stitch?

    • @PlayHookywithMe
      @PlayHookywithMe  Рік тому

      You’re doing 1 sc in the first stitch and then you are doing 2 sc’s in the next stitch . You’ll alternate that sequence. , 1,2,1,2 all the way around giving you a total of 18 stitches.

    • @taylorrrosee

  • @cindyshively6448
    @cindyshively6448 Рік тому

    How can the fourth row have only 24 stitches. If row 3 has 18 & if you double stitch every other that would add an extra 9 stitches so then you would have 27?? What am I doing wrong?

    • @PlayHookywithMe
      @PlayHookywithMe  Рік тому

      I’m not sure what you’re doing wrong … you’ll indeed finish the round with 24 stitches . You’ll have 6 stitches that have 2 sc’s in it (12) and 12 stitches with only 1 sc in it (12) giving you 24.
