You call this a pocket cruiser while im over here converting a 16 foot canoe to travel from central Indiana down the Wabash and Mississippi across the gulf to Florida.
A sailor would know that a salon is where they do hair. Boats usually have saloons instead, because sailors like to eat and drink. But if ye be a POSH dock queen kinda guy, then enjoy your salon, and have a nice hair day.
@@EarlofBusterbrook I felt pretty educated by this, why go defensive by default? If there's a chance, always give the benefit of the doubt before spouting off. Would save you a lot of time in the comments section, I would imagine.
I used to live in Solomon's Maryland If you stop by the Southern Maryland sailing Association, tell Jimmy Yurko that weasel says hello and to keep a weather eye on the horizon
The accommodation is very tight on these boats, but these trimarans go like lightening! Had one fly past us at ridiculous speeds. Provided the sea state is right, the range on these opens up a much bigger cruising ground!
@@norml.hugh-mann I wouldn’t want to cross oceans in one of these, but for weekend cruising, it’d be great. My boat is a 41ft monohull, which is safe, reasonably fast and very spacious. We will cross oceans in her one day.
IDK, I would be more interested to see what they do with a 38' for a 40' version ... You could be a Sea Captain in Water World and Mr Costner would be soooo jelly!
Well in this, l see the right side of one. And not at any time did we see any sailing, or deck. A photo would tell me this craft is quality. Great looking lines. Functionality is always the question new designs.
Again Jordan has a slight(? hahah) different notion about what's a *'pocket'* cruiser. For 99.99% of us a pocket cruiser doesn't come with separate cabins, and never with two double bed cabins, a separate head, and *absolutely never* with standing headroom. I give up ...
Nice! Yet, I would not call that a "double aft cabin" - it is most of a double aft birth ... Also, the single wet head is not good enough - though maybe the 40' model is where they get nice (for a live aboard). Damn though that boat looks fast!
How can you call a trimaran a pocket cruiser? I wouldn't even consider a Tradewinds 28 a pocket cruiser. I don't care if it comes apart or folds up like camping equipment.
@@sail4life no I haven’t, they’re pretty rare where I live, but maybe some day and that might change my opinion, which is currently just based off preference.
No I saw your whole video and it still doesn't look like a spaceship sorry but it is a fast little ship but not as fast as I thought it would go. Of course you can go take it racing because they do race those things and the show that your boat is not that fast because those those other ones are just start run you without a problem.
I would like it's this beautifully very good perfect yacht sail boat Go out to sea whatch whales and dolphins relaxing having Nicely cups of cappuccino with cream beautifully perfect peace of mind cooler Off ohhhh yeahhhh
Nonsense. This is nothing else than a waste of money. No room. No space. To large to trailer. Doesn't fit in solo birth even with "folded" outriggers. Price wise cost more than ANY 45ft. Bluewater boat.
Am sure this 32 can be very fast in the right conditions, and would be a nice coastal cruiser, but unsure about crossing oceans.

Saloon, Salon
Tomato, Tomatoe
Potato, Potatoe
- let's just call the whole thing off?
He just said it wrong relax bud take life a little slower
Salons are for the upper crust proper sailors. Saloons are for the rabble. 😂

Beautiful coastal cruiser!
What an amazing use of limited space..

That is a beautiful trimaran ❤ the videos thanks
Find more trimaran walk throughs. My favorite kind of sail boat. 😊
Just curious but do marinas charge 3x the price to park this sailboat as to it's width ?
The accommodation is very tight on these boats, but these trimarans go like lightening! Had one fly past us at ridiculous speeds. Provided the sea state is right, the range on these opens up a much bigger cruising ground!
That being said, idk how a 6'2" Orca as Myself would fare below. 😮
Not good....and personally the self righting of a mono gives a safety factor unmatched by the extra speed you get losing it with one of these

@norml.hugh-mann unless you get it swamped, then you'll be really stable on the ocean floor. This thing may end upside down, but won't sink.
Very powerful cruiser, love dragonfly 28 also

The spaceships were designed after the trimarans!! 👍
what about the wings? there are windows on top of them, so there has to be something there.
What ever became of your trailer tri project
How much?????
They are amazing trimarans. Danes know how to make good boats.
How well does it point into the wind?
Pretty darn well. But it would be a waste of time because you get much better VMG if you don't pinch.
Star Trek DS 9 had a show with a solar sail that travelled on solar power with giant sails..
and?
@TheSighphiguy and you touch yourself at night
WoW .
This is kinda plan you should tour my Jhon boat
30 foot pocket cruiser?
Useless where I live. No way I would sail that offshore in 6 metre swells and 50 knot winds.
looks like a filipino traditional boat. did you copy?
The ultimate sailing machine ... Amazing speed an absolute build quality... Astronomical price also 🙄
Just 1.2 million dollars...
Pocket???
This been out 20 yrs????????
Its fast but its not appointed like a Neel.

Got so many facts wrong 😂
I prefer my Rapido 60.....
Plus they are extremely expensive boats
Sail above wind speed.
Yes I have seen un other one, the Rapido 40!
Better!

I dunno why but I can’t get into trimarans, they’re about the only kind of boat I don’t like

Have a look at the Rapido 60 ,beats this one by a mile.
As one may expect at 60' as opposed to 39'
great boat till it flips in a big wave
