People in cults don’t think they’re in cults. Miranda’s story is just part of the doc. Richard is telling Miranda what to say. It’s an attempt to discredit the doc.
I haven't seen any concrete proof out of the doc. Multiple investigations have been conducted. No arrests. In my opinion, the doc was a hit piece.

@@crownandrootacademy4176 no, because I've been following this story since it originally broke in 2022, long before the documentary. To answer your question, no. They didnt convince me, and I didnt see any actual proof provided in the documentary to support the cult claims. Just opinions. There have been investigations, completed and closed with no arrests made.
@mikellwells3286 Well, like the reporter stated, cults aren't illegal. So he technically would not have been arrested for that. And since he doesn't have 50 women saying he raped them like in the Cosby or Weinstein cases, just two, it's not a big enough case. But it's cool to blame the victims. Maybe, just maybe, if they had made an arrest even if they had to release him the other women, he allegedly assaulted, may have come forward.

To be blunt, the other thing to remember about Miranda is that she’s already come up with two false narratives that throw her family under the bus when spotlight was on 7m previously. She’s both accused them of racism for not accepting her black husband (note her twin sister also married a black man) and then claimed that her family hated her for being a Christian. You need to take what she says with a grain of salt.

Just going to point out one damning thing here. If Miranda's family is SO VERY concerned about her being trapped in a cult, WHY would her mother and sister do a dance video WITH her a few months ago for the very same people?
To me, that says that mom and sis are trying to join in on the fame, more than "rescue" Miranda.
7M might be a total cult and the young people involved just have not realized it yet, but Miranda's family lost ALL credibility as the "concerned" family by doing that video...
Watched the doc & sorry. Miranda's family especially her sister & Mothet are both limelight SEEKERS.
Granted Miranda's family are saddened & grieve that she is in a dance cult. And apparently they can hardly do their own lives because she has, for now, left her family behind.
Miranda feels "safe" but who knows why she is limiting her life by living & breathing for these creative but short tactic videos on social media. Her choice of how to express her talents that way are self-limiting.
