I'm pretty sure Robert put that in his head and told him to state that. He is trying to make the family look like they are in the wrong any way he can to take focus off of their claims about him. Her and her husband are both victims of mind control.

With all due respect, you are missing a huge chunk of the picure here. The word cult wasn't introduced into Miranda's life until a controversial UA-camr - that claims she is a reporter - contacted Miranda's parents to claim that Miranda is in a cult. (Miranda's parents are no longer talking to this person). This UA-camr, Katie Joy Paulson of the Without A Crystal Ball channel has a pattern of claiming Cult to anyone with a religious background. She has disrupted the lives of the Duggar family, the Chrisley's, etc. with her cult claims and is currently facing defamation lawsuits. (As well as being sued in the past). She has been fired from Patheos for her antics. She even contacts the brands that sponsor family members to stop sponsoring ads on the family member's UA-cam pages, as well as unrelated UA-camr's pages. She has her blind followers harass her intended targets - without even asking them to do it - so who is running the cult here? Look into Katie Joy Paulson/Without a Crystal Ball. Her history of crying "Cult" and the havoc she wields upon her victims, along with her many updates per day that contradict one another across different social media platforms. Her petty jealousy knows no bounds. She lives for click baiting on social media and constantly claims her opinion and lies as fact. She is not a reporter, she just likes to play one on social media. When it comes to Miranda and Melanie...follow the money.....the truth lies there.

I’ve been a Christian my whole life. Attended a variety of churches over the years. Not one time did anyone, the leaders of church or anyone else, tell me to cut off anyone. And I never needed an invitation to attend or get shamed for missing an event. That stuff is cult behavior, not religious behavior.

The family of this woman was told not to be aggressive in getting Miranda out of the cult because it might have retaliation on Miranda within the 7M.
IMO Miranda's family needs to let it go. If their daughter wants to leave, the cult expert said just show that you will be supportive if she wants to return to her family. The parents & especially the sister need to move forward w their lives. Miranda is an adult. She has told fans she is OK. Just let her decide. One day she may leave 7M. You cannot force these situations. Other. Members of this cult have left but have been unable to get the leader Robert Shin to be arrested on sexual abuse charges or financial misdeeds.

Often it is financial crimes that can bring about police investigation. But the prosecuters need many victims to come to report to police before victims can get justice. It is not a simple thing. If you are an adult & decide to work for free for a cult or are treated poorly the authorities think you are not a minor & you made the decision to follow a leader of your own free will. Today, he works on legal (no kidnapping) methods of extricating cult members ... and he also says, even highly intelligent people can be pulled in. As in "Too smart for your own good." If this is a "cult" then couldn't we compare say maybe The Boy Scouts of America or any pyramid scheme really a "cult" .... no seriously? Why is this such a HUGE ordeal when these people don't look in danger, on drugs, all married and pregnant by one leader, getting ready for travel to Mars, actively recruiting other dancers.... these adults have free will. The Catholic Church is a Cult. I know, I went to Catholic school. The Kingdom Hall - Jehovah Witness's is a cult. Really any form of religious organization that isolates their religious beliefs from other religious beliefs can be put in a "cult" category. People evolve. People become self aware and sometimes choose to remove toxic people from their lives. Sometimes those people are family. I haven't spoken to a sister 15 years because she is an Evangelical Christian and looks down on me because I have pagan beliefs.
What is a modern cult?? I'm assuming we are all have some type of cult behavior just from being alive. We are manipulated by the media daily into believing what they want us to... we give our money to the highest bidder because they have convinced us they are the only real ones taking care of us. Example- health care benefits. Product selection. Car choices. Food choices. Please stop using the term cult unless its 100% a proven cult. The Church of Satan in San Francisco is a Cult. My mom was in Lifespring, now labeled a cult. It was her choice. My mom had free will. This is a religious organization that has control of its dancers assets.. in exchange for whatever they agreed to. It's a contract they, as adults have agreed to. Not their family. If they lose money I guess they'll learn. Just like if my sister works for a company that told her if she joined their "team" her life would change. Everything was perfect at first... a year later.. treated her like shit, didnt give her a raise for 5 years and only offered her the bottom of the barrel health care benefits. Yet, she was trapped because it was all she had and couldnt afford to leave. It took her 3 more years to finally get out. Sound like a cult? No, why not?

Then I saw your comment and although I don't recognize your name, we most follow similar UA-cam creators to know what KJ's antics are since she can't discuss the Duggar situation for a little while. You know, the whole Jenna Duggar (I don't watch the show nor follow the family or KJ so I may have misspelled her name) situation and sponsorship debacle, wherein KJ contacted "Native" to basically have any ad revenue or income possible gained, immediately pulled because of their "belief system and blanket training". Tati Westbrook, Steve Mcrae, Jenelle Evans &Amber Portwood (of MTV's shows Teen Mom/Teen Mom 2), Kailyn Lowry of Teen Mom 2, Lindsey Chrisley & her father Todd Chrisley (who's actually going to be the saving grace for any future victims and past ones who contact him, as he is now also suing KJ for defamation).... Numerous UA-cam Content Creators, EVEN KJ's OWN HUSBAND AND HER OWN SON ARE NOT SAFE FROM THE SMEAR CAMPAIGN AND FLYING MONKEYS SHE SENDS OUT TO HARASS OTHERS WHO DARE TO HAVE A DIFFERENT OPINION THAN HER! I really wish Dr. Grande would cover her in a video, matter of fact, it's been suggested numerous times on the subreddit that is made of only information pertaining to KJ. My advice, if anyone wants to look into the situation with Miranda and 7M, don't watch "Without a Crystal Ball". If you choose to watch, please don't encourage or create drama and more problems for anyone who KJ discusses because she has an interesting way to always have her "sources" that are "close with" whoever she's discovered at the time, this way her (KJ's) hands never actually get dirty and she only reveals her "sources" when she's being sued & is taken to court. Lmfaoo. Just pick another creator who doesn't have a bias against attractive, successful, intelligent, happy and wealthy women. Because that is one of many reasons why Katie Joy fixates, in an extremely unhealthy manner, on certain people.

@@heidistabbert3062... FACTS! It's frightening to watch because she truly is leading her own type of little cult. And her information is 80% of the time, INCORRECT. Remember the whole UTI conversation and how she tried explaining to her viewers that "you can't get a UTI after sex" lmfaoo then flipped out when she was corrected. Or how about the time that she went after a follower at the time (I think her name is Suzanne), who was innocently trying to share her personal experience, and KJ went off on her on multiple different platforms for having the audacity to show compassion when she had actually lost her child and KJ was just talking about the memory of the date years prior where she ALMOST lost her son. This woman obsesses over people and tries to act like they're best friends, (cough, cough .... Lindsey Chrisley, Amy King, Matt Bier to name a few), then gets pissed off and reveals all DM's and topics of past conversations to completely destroy their reputation. Even to the extent of digging up financial records like she's done to Elle Bee. There's something wrong with KJ, seriously, she's like the Pam Hupp of UA-cam. LOL

Consider the source of where this whole 'cult' narrative came from. One of the most toxic UA-camrs on here started this diatribe for her own personal gain, and from there these dancers have been living in hell. This has to stop! No matter what their situation is, unless one of these dancers actually comes out and says 'Please help me", they deserve to be left alone. It is not up to the general public to go against these dancers wishes. Just stop the harassment. Not your circus, not your peanuts.

What intrigues me most are your videos on grandiose and vulnerable narcissism. I'm curious how much of a role narcissism plays on the whole video culture in this day and age. It seems everyone wants to be famous in some way, shape or form. My question is though, how much of a role does trauma play when it comes to vulnerable narcissism, say if it were constant life-long harrassment and bullying mixed in with drug addiction and physical trauma? I've always wondered about the findings with concussive brain injury and altered behavior. Can they go hand in hand?

“Argument from First Corinthians”: St. Paul, as he is known to both believers and non-believers, makes what might be the most definitive statement about a human being’s relationship to God as Father. “Love is patient, love is kind, it doesn’t work through envy or fear…it keeps no record of wrong doing.” I would suggest this as the appropriate litmus test for deciding whether a cult is at work. Can such a standard be used? We see that Mr. Shinn loves his Bentley SUV. Love is at work; it can't be a cult.”Love never fails.”Thank you for reading.

Not sure if they are in a cult or not, but Miranda's family, mostly the sister, seems to be making the video for views and likes. If you watch the video the sister makes herself the center of attention so much so that the dad is mostly out of frame. Her hair, nails and make up are on point and the fake crying, let just say even community theater would hire her. I'm surprised someone as objective as Dr. Grande wouldn't have picked up on that. Personally, I don't agree with causing further harm to the victims in a means to possibly impact their leader. In my opinion it will cause the dancers to pull away and isolate themselves even more. I just think there could be a better way to go about helping them than trying to remove their means of income.

It does seem the couple do love each other, but may have been taken in by a charismatic leader. But how is this any different from so many other religions or political movements that were described by others as being a cult simply for being different? How many people regularly shell out money or sign over their homes to televangelists? It’s a slippery slope with no clear line between cult and religion. Scientology has tried several times to get the IRS tax shelter as a religion. They have Travolta, Cruz and Tilly doing their work. Ultimately the is about family accepting their adult children’s choices.
