- TikTok star Miranda Derrick’s parents and sister went public in a new Netflix docuseries, claiming she was being manipulated by an alleged cult leader, Robert Shinn. Now, Miranda is speaking out and claiming she and her husband are being stalked and threatened after being featured in “Dancing for the Devil.” “Extra” talks to Kylie Douglas, a former member of 7M and Shekinah, who reacts to Miranda’s denials that she is a victim and needs help. Kylie shares her experience with leaving the group and her message to Miranda and others who are still involved.

Kylie even said couldn’t trust her own boyfriend because they will tell on each other. Shinn also makes sure they change roommates, this is the technique they use, so you never feel save, on your toes. They make you work, read, talk, all day long, so you are exhausted and can’t think normal anymore.
Isn’t it interesting Miranda says they are so busy with the documentary they aren’t with her to have a relationship. While we can see that documentary Miranda, they keep driving to you and you won’t answer, you don’t anwer their calls. We can hear shinn preaching that your family should be dead to you, unalive. No where in the Bible it says that. Miranda could have just told her family including her grandmother you want no contact whatsoever, they wouldn’t need to find out why, that she doesn’t is actually telling. She comes up with 1000 excuses it somehow is her family fault, and anyone with a logic mind, can see there is only one thing that changed, and that was when she moved into shinns house.
It’s sad, because seeing the older sisters, one got out just recently, she had nothing and never lived a normal life, she is too old to start her own family now, and she realizes how much shinn stole from her, he stole her life, he stole her best years.
Dancing for this weird guy and handing over all the money to him is very odd

Literally the thing that would stop this. 7M dancers subscriber counts all drop under 1 million subscribers and they would sprain their ankles from running out of that place so fast.
Our immediate family members were involved in a group for 25 years until the Bishop ((Cleveland Dioceses))) wrote a 2 page letter in our local newspaper Akron Beacon Journal, asking the 200+ members to attend their church(s) and hear the Gospels and Epistle .. My initial thought was what happened in Guyana could happen to my in-laws... Well, some members moved to Corpus Christi, others to St. Louis... I believe since my in laws passed away ,it will take another 20years to de-program the adult children..
"The Bible promotes the Church being open to everyone. It is never exclusive" there's no membership to enter.... I read the Bible since I learned how to read. I ALSO WENT TO CHRISTIAN SCHOOL. "THE BIBLE DOESN'T PROMOTE PROFITS OR BECOMING RICH." THE BIBLE PROMOTES LOVE, CHARITY, RESPECT FOR OTHERS AND FOR SELF. THE BIBLE doesn't exploit anyone.

I could see Robert orchestrating those comments and emails towards Miranda. It’s been proven in the past he’s had ppl create fake accounts to boost ppls instas. Also I find it odd that they’re both supposedly being attacked but it’s only her addressing it. Idk I feel like as a married couple they’d do a video together and present a united front… she might be getting actual threats and hate but I can see Robert having a larger role in that.
Dancers should not be threatened. They are young people and being taken advantage of. Simply encouraged to go get a manager that won't take all their money.

James Derrick, aka Bdash, was involved with another cult once before, I believe, mentioned in the documentary. He left that one and walked right into the current alleged church/cult, but this time, he introduced Miranda to it. They married once in the church.
It’s hard because the dancers are thinking adults. We have to teach kids how to think and be skeptical.

No verbal communication and you know if someone is a Christian? There absolutely are churches that are simply about raking in money, have nefarious individuals in leadership or are just poorly run but it isn't fair to insinuate all Christians are bad and to steer clear of them. This is so sad. I listen to all the victims. At what point do they take responsibility after they find out that they are in a cult? If they are informed and know they have support. Don't know much about this story but I know that every Cult I've seen live in gated Communities, where family are not allowed to visit loved ones .Real religions teach that families are the most important unit in Gods eyes and would never stop parents visiting there children.

That’s so sad, as the younger sister got out, she married and had a child. The other sister was in there for at least another decade,and was basically only used for sex. Until his new wife got too jealous, and started hitting her, and shinn ofcourse does nothing. She herself says I never lived a normal life I don’t know what it is. When her sister gets upset with her she wasn’t there as an aunt for his birthday. She said I literally don’t even know what it means. Her realization she lots the best years not just a couple over 20 years to this man, and has nothing. All the money she earned went to him. I hope she realizes she still has many happy years ahead of her. You also realize someone can’t just be by her or himself when he or she gets out. They are so vulnerable and she herself says, sometimes it seems easier to just run back in. :( this man has ruined so many lives
There was no real proof shown. Multiple investigations have been conducted and closed. No arrests.
In my opinion this was a calculated hit piece to knock the 7m dancers out of the spotlight so the less talented dancers could have a chance at the brand deals
As far as the church receiving 30%, this is not exclusive to Shekina church. Many churches practice 10% tithes, 10% first fruits, and 10% offering.
Shekinah church is a separate entity from the dance group management. There are dancers that don't belong to the church.
If my mom and dad did all the things Miranda's parents did to her (don't take my word for it... research it) it would take years to repair the damage they have done to their own daughter.
What he was doing during that sisters’ era was pure slavery, and I don’t see anyone talking about it. The people built businesses for him, had no control over their own lives or income, not to mention the other disgusting behavior. It’s outrageous.
You cannot force these dancers out go for the leader if he goes to jail his following will fall, he aint warren jeffs lol he aint got the resources to fund a life in jail plus court fees etc.

Watched this entire video and I couldn't find a single piece of evidence to support that Miranda's part of a cult. Maybe she is. Or maybe she just got serious about her Christian faith. Either way, leave the girl alone. Her family lost all hope of reconciliation by helping create a documentary to destroy their daughter's hard earned reputation.
