- A group of prominent TikTok dancers are trapped in a cult masquerading as a management company called 7M. As dancers and former members escape and work to rebuild their lives, it isn’t until they come together to try and put a stop to the cycle of their abuser that the real healing begins. Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult is a new Netflix docuseries, but is it worth watching? Thanks for checking out my Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult (2024) Netflix Documentary Review!

I recently saw this and I feel quite moved by all the experiences and stories shared by all the victims. I'm glad that some of them got out and are on their healing journeys, but I'm also quite upset that many are forever lost to their loved ones. I really hope the cult leaders will one day be held legally accountable.
That opening was great! 😂 I'm glad you reviewed this. I'll skip it! Thank you!
It was so good, loved it. I watched it with my mom, I feel bad for all the victims.
I've just this minute finished watching this and I got to be honest, I had to remind myself this was about real peoples traumatic experiences but my god it dragged and felt disjointed for the most part. I got from the title the tik tok aspect but was struggling to see the connection tik tok and this cult and it was only in he second episode when all the business ventures were mentioned I started to see the connection (revenues, sponsorships and the like). I really think this documentary could've been done a lot better to tell such stories but I respect it was about casting the net wider to raise awareness of this vile little man and his abuse and also about messages from loved ones to those in the grasp of the cult.
I might suggest not to believe everything Netflix allows as a documentary. This is a twisted tale and narrative.
Feel free to research 🧐 the creators behind this story as one of them is Miranda’s family and the other has been in CIVIL litigation with SHINN and The Derricks for 2 years.
So why Netflix would be okay with a creator (who has a personal stake in this story because it would help her case if it was told a certain way) is beyond my understanding because there is No way she was unbiased. There was also NO way for the “accused” to be involved because of the civil litigation.
All very weird and super unprofessional.
i thought this was one of the more shocking docs on Netflix. I'm hopefully this situation is able to be resolved soon for these young men and women and that they find their way home.
Her sister is not as talented as her, seriously. And what did the family think they would accomplish with this This is because she broke up the team with her sister. They were upset she cut her hair. Her own mother has a short blond bob, Plus Miranda looks better. Miranda is talented and doing what she loves. They never preach at anyone. I feel the family was domineering and Miranda wanted out. God forbid she go out on her own and do better without them. She looks so happy always. I feel her family is the cult.
It’s like Scientology
A good start is to prepare children with the tools to properly evaluate evidence and understand the value of individualism instead of organized religion which does the opposite.
Wow. I love it!!
Love your reviews. Clear, concise and I typically agree with what you have to say. Coming from a religious background I definitely think puts a different spin on how I perceived certain things and it can be triggering in different ways. As always, appreciate your honest and thoughtful reviews!
robert shinn date of birth:
november "28" 1937
(28= MONEY & wealth)
1937=Year of the RAT= highly manipulative
he is a false teacher prophet -A wolf in sheep's clothing
and only cares about himself & money ...
numbers don't lie!
Mathew 6:24
Jesus: "24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money."

Amen 🙏
Evil to the core
A cult is a cult doesn't matter if its for god or Satan
Because neither are real.
Can someone tell me what are the other cult documentaries tht have come out recently?
There was the recent Netflix documentary “Keep Sweet - Pray and Obey” about Warren Jeffs and the polygamist FLDS cult and also one called “The Program: Cons, Cults, and Kidnapping” also on Netflix which were both eye openers. This Shinn cult reminds me of the Scientology and NXIVM cults too. All of them evil to the core.
@@vicstar62 thank u 🙂
I also felt a very angry when I heard them talking ab god and money and all that shit they were connecting with god. Tik tok is full of lies and so quick to lie too then they get all these ppl believing shit
Miranda and Bdash come across as making good $ in their videos. Looks like they own a nice house in LA.....Or it could be rented but they seem to be happy there.
Being a couple hopefully will be thier protection????
I can see how all the SHINE from the dance business can be so alluring and heady.
Modeling, dancing, being stars.....lots of commerical work. They can be happy as they truthfully have hit it big time.
But....there is a COST. They seem to be willing to cut out family in the exchange...
Now, fame is heady and many would kill to be where Miranda is today.
She seems smart like the rest of the family and someday she will wake up to the fact she sold her soul and will regret it.
Pray for them and the whole family. What the devil sold them for evil, God can turn it for good. ❤ RJ
PS/ Miranda is crazy talented and she can survive 7M and make it even bigger on her own without the current management.
I don't like rating documentaries, but cults....this is a 2, maybe. Your right, and I don't want to sound cold hearted either, but if the doc focused on what was happening at the turn of the century it would have been more interesting. To focus on the last 4 yrs is pretty soon, and the family wasn't really out of touch for that long. It's good they intervened. But the doc at times was like listening to your neighbor complain about their kids at a barbecue. I didn't see the third episode, I hope everyone finds peace.
That’s because 7M was created only 4 years ago. It’s separate from the church.
If it sounds like someone is complaining it’s because of the creators of this documentary. Which are the Wilkens and the dubious social media content creator they asked to help them who was sued by SHINN and the Derricks 2 years ago and is currently in civil litigation as a defendant for slander, defamation, libel. Yet… Netflix doesn’t see a bias in this documentary by using the creator who is in active litigation against SHINN and the Derricks?
Interesting as this documentary would help her litigation by creating a narrative to help her case..
it’s a lot of talk and NO real evidence.
Pity the family and sister lied on SM. They should just be honest and not cover up for Miranda or even let her film their gatherings for propaganda. They should agree that they don’t talk about the pastor but they also should ban her from posting things about their family gatherings
Or maybe 🤔 consider this documentary is rife with propaganda and problems.
Maybe look into the family a bit more and who they worked with to pitch this documentary and narrative.
💃
Nice
Potential????
Lol you’re nuts.
Hahahaha!!! You know it!
Congratulations! You successfully embarrassed all middle aged men with that intro 😅
I’ve seen Miranda on UA-cam/ TikTok for several years she always was exceptional compared to any partner. As far as the documentary, have zero desire to watch it. Her talent is there. Her choices are hers to make. I have no opinion one way or the other.
thanks , youve literally added Nothing to the conversation.
How can you possibly understand what has happened without watching the documentary? It has literally zero to do with her dancing or talent.
Agree with you guys. Watch it and then you decide if you want to support her with your views. Talented , beautiful etc… all Robert chooses are like that
Her personal life is none of my business nor do I really care. I don’t know her and gave no investment in tracking her life. She’s an entertainer. I’m stating I don’t have the need to investigate her life or the lives of these people and what they chose to do. I’m commenting on her skill. It’s exceptional. Go trash talk somewhere else.
@@worscohli I don’t care.
Stupid intro
