From his many films starting with Tobey Maguires Spider-Man (2002) to the MANY Great TV shows such as Spectacular Spider-Man, Or the amazing roster of video games including Web Of Shadows and the Insomniac Spider-Man Trilogy...
However the individual we are responding to today believes that Spider-Man has fundamentally changed for the worst, to the extent that they are "gunna stop watching all future films/playing all future games" LMAO

Ok, I'll give 2 reasons why Miles should stick around without touching on his race.
Reason 1) Money. The kid sells and is highly marketable. Until Marvel, Sony, and eventually Disney run out that golden goose and go for the next one, they'll get every dollar they can squeeze out of him.
Reason 2) His story. While Great Power = Great Responsibility is there, Miles' story focuses more on the weight of expectations and a desire of reaching his full potential. Both from himself and his loved ones. Something anybody, regardless of race, gender, religion, etc, can get behind.

First Andrew didn’t quit in The Amazing Spider Man 2 he just stopped being Spider Man for a little bit because he lost Gwen but at the very end of the amazing spider man 2 he showed up again to save the little child who wanted face Rhino because he likes Spider Man and also even after The Amazing Spider Man 2 he stopped pulling his punches because he couldn’t be Spider Man anymore because of Gwen.
Him not being Spider Man had nothing to do with the city just has something to do with Gwen because he loves her so much that he gave up being Spider Man because of her being dead.
See Andrews Spider Man couldn’t live with himself because he couldn’t save Gwen so he still blames himself for that and that’s why he couldn’t be Spider Man I hope that makes sense to you.

That’s what I’ve been saying. Ik Colins already pointed this out, but in terms of appearance, all thats different is her eyes and hairstyle. Her face looks almost exactly the same. As always, there are the typical clowns who are hating just for the sake thereof and are just cherry picking the worst possible shots of her they can find to justify their bullshit points.
@@t-nator8333 The woman that mary jane is modeled after did say on twitter that she'd been in a car accident that required her to have reconstructive surgery on her face, which is another reason why she looks different. And I hardly think it's fair to call that rendition of her ugly given that the reason for her change in appearance was because the woman she's based on was in an accident that could've killed her, but thankfully it didn't. Instead of wasting their time complaining that they don't find a fictional character attractive, they should at the very least be grateful that the person said character is based on survived what could have been a life ending accident.

Great video! Spider-man kind of has changed, not in the way that dude says he has, but for the better. Currently 616 Spider-man is in a loop (PAUL COUGH) however things like ATSV and Spider-man 2 (PS5) subverts this in ways that keep what we loved about Spider-man, but makes him more relatable than ever, exactly what we love about him. Via balance, and going against the canon. Spider-man is still there, but he is better than before.
I wouldn't be surprised if this guy made a response video. Then makes a bunch of angry posts about you because he's to far to back track his stupid thoughts on miles. Here's my opinion about Miles: as a character I think he's actually pretty good. Even if I like him less than Peter, I still think he's good. But even if I like him less, doesn't change the majority vote. Miles as a character has gotten a standalone game, 2 movies (almost 3) and a side character in Spider-Man 2. I don't hate Miles, I just like him less than Peter due to the fact that I grew up with Peter as Spider-Man and the fact that (in my personal opinion) has more engaging things going on outside of his alter-ego than Miles. Miles (even if he does have a hard time) Does NOT have a harder time than Peter, shown point blank in basically every story mission/side mission in Spider-Man 2

I love this whole backlash against Miles being here and being a secondary Spider-Man but then they completely forget about Ben Riley during the 90's took over the Spider-Man and Peter openly stated he could easily give up being Spider-Man because Ben was there to take the slack
Since sony didn't give Insomniac enough time to put everything they wanted in the game. They must of heard about it and they just assumed marvel Spider-man 2 is a terrible game and the characters are ruined. I like marvel Spider-man 2 and hearing what Insomniac wanted to do, but wasn't given enough time to put everything in the game it could have been better. Insomniac did what they could to make a good game but u can't please everyone expectally toxic fans.

Peter taking a break from being Spider-man when there is another one present isn't even a new concept since he left to be with Mary Jane when the literal clone of him was believed to me the real one. People even liked when Ben was Spider-man from what I understand, they just didn't like the circumstances around the swap which is why it was changed back.
Okay the multiverse thing, those have always existed. Even in the movies. No matter what it was, there has not been a noncanon version of this character if Marvel had something to do with it because each of the versions, be it from a game, show, cartoon, live action movie, ect have all existed in the greater marvel multiverse via universe numbers and this is how they occasionally interact like in Shattered Dimensions, No Way Home, and the Spiderverse movies. They are ALL canon but not mainline. And main does not mean mainstream so the 13122/Lego Spiderman is not main or mainstream. 19999/MCU Spiderman and 96283/Raimiverse Spiderman is mainstream but not the main one. comic 616 Spiderman is the main one. There IS a difference. But they are all canon.
Sorry the "Marvel never had mutliverses before this" and "there is only one canon Spiderman" bugs immensely and I dont think he's ever really consumed anything but the movies.
Also Spiderman stories being the same thing with the same setup like he really wants for some reason would get boring. Let Peter be happy for a minute. Let him take a vacation. Heck. let a version of him genuinely love fighting crime. MTV Spiderman canonically just fuggin gives up at the end of his story because he couldnt take it anymore. They dont all have to be depressed and want to quit. And Peters daughter? In the main 616 verse? fucking dead. Before she even turned 1. Peter canonically got swapped with a villains body and died alone while everyone he loved unknowingly applauded his death. He came back cause comic logic and fans and Stan was upset. And thats just the main canon! Not even counting the new stuff. Ive never seen a Marvel character save for MAYBE Hulk who has just the most depressing life in nearly every other universe. Whats with everyone denying Peter from having ONE good thing just let him have a break! Why wouldnt he want to when according to this dude, part of his core characteristics is hating being Spiderman but feeling obligated to and wanting to either stop or take a extremely well deserved vacation? I think he did that in 616 with Ben Riley. If theres another person out there who can share the load, it is completely in character for him to relax a bit
And Miles being around does not mean by default that the stories will be the same. There are some issues where he has to prove that he's a decent successor to Peters friends and family and his in his debut universe, he watches Peter die and tries to take on his role and as a story, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

I have to disagree with your take on MCU Spidey grtting too much help until No Way Home. He did plenty on his own before then, like in Homecoming when he lifted a building off of him by shear force of will or when he beat the main villain of Far From Home when beats the main villain with his eyes closed. Dislike MCU Spidey all you want, yes he has more team ups than other versions but to claim he never did anything by himself until No Way Home is just straight up wrong and makes me question if you even watched the damn movies before No Way Home. No Way Home didn’t “fix” MCU Spider-Man, MCU Spider-Man was always and will always just be a different version of the character who, at his core, gets the character right, see above examples.

Had to constantly be dragged back into the superhero thing by Shield?
Was saved by Happy when he was stranded in the Netherlands?
The final battle yeah he did it himself however he still needed to use Starks resources to engineer a new suit
And all of that was to undo a mind numbingly dumb decision of giving a random guy he knew for 2 days, the ONLY parting gift he got from his former idol/mentor 🤦♂️
Then in NWH not even bothering to sort out his own college issue, instead running to Doctor strange for help which Strange calls him out for
Aunt May having to talk to him and actually get him to get off his ass and help the villains?
Aunt May giving him the great power great responsibility line even though he ALREADY LEARNED THAT Prior To Civil War, effectively showing that Aunt May was such a shit character that uncle Ben had to be retconned to make her significant
And that’s not factoring in the help he had from the other Spidermen also to get him to come back for the final battle
Not to mention how poorly written he was and how inconsistent of a character he was as they bounced between multiple directions for his character
The only consistent good thing about him was Tom Holland himself and his phenomenal acting. Other than that he was a terribly written character in comparison to other Spidermen and did need saving too many times
@@TheGamingRift11 I think you’re missing the point. He beat the villain with his eyes closed in Far From Home. In Homecoming he had the sheer strength of will to lift a building off his back after it was dropped on him with nothing but his wits. In Infinity War he has the fortitude to run ahead and climb up a spaceship while losing oxygen to save someone he doesn’t even know. I’m not naive enough to pretend he never got help, but the whole point of the MCU is to see beloved characters team up, thats why The Avengers is so popular, in fact, if the previous Spider-Man adaptations could have, they probably would have teamed up with other heroes. I seriously don’t understand this point people harp on so hardly, by your logic, Tobey should have never gotten help from Harry in the end of Spider-Man 3 or gotten advice from May in Spider-Man 2 because hey, he’s supposed to do it all alone with no help ever right? The important thing is he has the power to do the right thing alone and does it when he needs to and ultimately thats why we love Spider-Man. The fact he can take down the Vulture with a crappy suit and his force of will after losing everything, or how he can defeat a villain with his eyes closed is enough to get Spider-Man right. It may not be identical to the Raimi films in terms of stakes but when they need to, the home trilogy delivers on classic Spidey moments.
So I guess I just have to ask you, if you just wanted to see an MCU version of Spider-Man do exactly what the Raimi movies did, what would be the point of even putting him in the MCU if you aren’t gonna take advantage of what makes those movies work in the first place? If it was just gonna do the same thing over again, there would be no point in even making a new version of the character, but to say that he teams up with other characters(which is something Spider-Man has done for years before MCU Spider-Man btw in the comics so I guess he never did anything on his own in the comics either) is somehow a negative of these films is, in my humble opinion, fucking stupid because by that same logic, Iron-Man 3 is a bad movie because Tony got help from a kid, Thor is a bad movie because he got help from a group of random humans, Captain America The Winter Solider is bad because Cap got help from Black Widow. These aren’t negatives of the MCU they’re just intrisic aspects of these films, so when MCU Spidey teams up with Iron Man or has a group of friends he relies on, it’s tonally consistent with the films he coexists alongside, he’s not Raimi Spidey or even TASM Spidey and that’s not a bad thing. They’re just different and Spider-Man has ALWAYS been and ALWAYS will be evolving and changing tone. What matters is that the core of the character is still there and in terms of MCU Spidey and the examples I listed above, the core if the character is still there when it matters. He’s not snyderverse Batman killing people with a gun, we know Batman would never do that, but seeing Spider-Man help out a lost old lady in his neighborhood or lift a building off his back or running into danger and costing him his relationship with his crush because it’s the right thing to do, abandoning his friends on a trip he wanted to go on because the responsibility of Spider-Man calls(and I get people have issues with him wanting to take a break and go on vacation but A.) He’s a teenager in high school, cut him slack and B.) Once again, I don’t see you complaining when other adaptations do the same. What matters is we know Spider-Man and we know he wouldn’t ignore his responsibility when necessary and in Far From Home, he doesn’t ignore his responsibilities when he has to face them) or defeating a bad guy using only his spider sense, with his eyes fucking closed no less.
So no, I disagree with the notion that this character wasn’t Spider-Man or that he was fixed by No Way Home. The core of the character was always there, you just have to pay attention to the movies you watch instead of complaining that it isn’t exactly like this one version of the character you like.

It may not be your definitive version but again I bring up the comparison to Snyderverse Batman killing people with guns. We never had a moment like that, he was still Spider-Man and still did things on his own. A lot of these so called criticisms of the Home trilogy just seem to be that it’s different from the Raimi Spidey and therefore they’re bad and he’s not Spider-Man, which… No, obvi, I shouldnt have to explain why that is not good criticism, it’s hardly even criticism at all
