I think you forgot that Infinite has a limit to how much of the perfected copy, at least I think since Eggman uses the real one as the final Boss, of the Phantom Ruby he has been using since creating the Sun it requires recharge for his final fight against Sonic and the Avatar Mephiles has shown to create clones without the Emeralds in Generations so I guess that is a boost to his power but not by a lot You also forgot the part that the fragments of the Ruby prototype can fall off as shown in the Silver vs Infinite and Null space doesn't take up a lot of space when being created and it doesn't last long as shown in the cutscene the clones created from Phantom Ruby requires a pretty strong/ weak blow, looking at you Charmy, copies vs the resistance members scene compare to the clones created by Mephiles which Shadow must have hit hard and the Doom Spears packs a punch as well
