Not happy with my two-tone interior, I purchase a full replacement that also has heated front AND rear seats.
In this video I show you in full detail how to replace your Audi S5 B8 interior with a B8.5 interior.
This is Part 3, showing in great detail wiring the seats up and also using VCDS to code them in!

I got one with the heated seat switches off eBay part number 8T2 820 043 H

Rear centre console panel - I bought this new from audi, not much more money than a second hand one from eBay!!
Replacement Body Control Module
My Original one had the part number 8K0 907 063 N
I got one with the heated seat socket off eBay part number 8K0 907 063 P

That is another brilliant video mate, I have watched this over and over again as I going to attempt to retrofit electric/heated S4 seats to my b8.5 A4 however I am so confused, and think I am out of my depth. Would you want to help a subscriber out with your knowledge..

@@philscars thanks for the reply, when you say I will need a new module, what are you referring to, this is what I am not sure about.
its the Body Control Module or the "BCM" that you will need to change, if you watch my video, mine didnt have any pins to take the plug for the heated seats......this also has "Component protection" and will therefore need to be coded to your car by a company.
@@philscars yes that’s what I thought. So I just need to look for a BCM, on eBay or somewhere.

i am just in the process now of trying to retrofit oem heated seat elements in my car skoda octavia it just seems a bit daunting taking seats out and removing the covers and refitting them but your video was very helpful do you know anybody locally can do this
I would ring round local upholsterers, you should be able to find one to do it for you

You need to take it to an Audi specialist to get it removed
And bcm dont go component protection mode? Hvac dont need parts car CAN to remove protection mode?
@@PF-jp4sm I think the seats, the hvac and the BCM all have CP on them and need to be coded by an Audi specialist, i.e cannot be done VCDS
Hi - I watched your 3 part video in detail and found it really useful thanks! I've just retrofitted heated seats into my 2013 B8.5 avant from a model of the same year. I bought the Kufatec loom for the front seats and fitted all the wiring into the BCM, and all ok. Then I realised that the loom must have been for a LHD car and that the passenger heated seat button on the HVAC unit switched on the driver's side heated set and vice versa, so Kufatec told me to swap pins 1 and 6 on the 6 pin plug that came with the loom and that sorted that issue. The issue I have now is the heat doesn't seem to regulate and seems to be on full power all the time, even when I turn down the level on the HVAC unit. Did you have any similar problems at all? I also wired in the additional 'weiss' cable into pin 14 and gelb into pin 19 of the T32 plug on the BCM as per the Kufatec instructions and your video, but I'm wondering if they also need to be swapped over in order to regulate the correct seat heat, now that I've swapped over pins 1 & 6 on the 6 pin plug. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! Greg
Hi, yes, I had exactly the same issue, as I found out when I first used the seat months after I installed them, I went through the wiring diagram and have worked out that you will need to reverse pins 1 and 6 as you have for the actual heat and pins 14 and 19 for the heat monitoring, hence why it's always on full, as it's monitoring the seat not turned on!! I haven't done mine yet, I just use the opposite switches to work them!

Hi I two have the problem with the BCM mine has the same code as yours but with the letter K at the end. I have found one with the same code but with the letters AJ at the end but has the extra plug in the middle any help would bee gratefully received thanks

These BCMs are a nightmare! Yours having a k would mean it supports different features to mine (heated mem seats, xenon lights etc), what I did was join a few Audi forums and asked if anyone knew what the heated seat version of my N one was and someone replied telling me I need the P version, which was correct! The letter at the end is the important bit! Glad you like my videos, I have more coming, better get saving!
