    How is the drape of an embroidery of this detail out of curiosity? I make doll clothes and would love to make fine art embroidered clothing with detailed embroidery.

      Hi! I use canvas as my base fabric, which is already pretty sturdy. But then adding all the layers of these stitches definitely adds more bulk, so the drape is a little stiff when all is said and done. However, your choice in base fabric and the amount of stitches you incorporate can change things.
