This was, hands down, the BEST, most informative video I've seen regarding satin stitch in the nature I was wanting to work with it. Thank you so much!

Nice tutorial. For me personally it's easier to seperate the 6 strands before stiching but use them all at the same time. This way they are nice and parallel without twisting.
After all these years of hating satin stitch you have made me want to give it a try again. My satin stitch just never looked smooth and even. Your tips are fantastic! Can’t wait to practice my satin stitches and use them in embroidered pieces. HUGE THANK YOU!!!

Beautiful work! Thank you for this. I love how rounded and full your work looks. I'm itching to try this now! Glad to have found an embroidery channel that is more my vibe--subbed!

So pretty love the blues and how perfect your satin stitch looked Could you do one for satin leaves with pointy edges? They confuse me to no end. Hard to follow the outline for leaves.
Truly lovely. It looks like you’re using the entire strand of the embroidery thread. What size needle are you using by any chance. Thanks so much for the great video.

What lovely work! I’d love to watch more, but halfway through, I realised that the music was so loud and intrusive that I needed to turn off and give my brain a rest. And to all those who say, mute your device, yes that is what I do all the time. And then I miss the teaching! And I live my whole life in silence (I’m partially disabled and live alone). Why do you start a little in rather than on the edge of your design
When I was first starting out and trying to do the satin stitch, I found that when I started at the edge, my design would warp a bit, which may have had something to do with my fabric not being pulling taut enough…I’m not sure.
