Figured I’d point out that the mid cut button is not a mid scoop. It’s a mid boost that helps you cut thru a mix. A lot of people think the button is a mid scoop and it isn’t. I have 2 revv generators, and I kinda wish they kept that button named the same as the old ones, which was contour. But it did the same thing, it boosted your mids. I love these amps tho. They were a dream come true amp for me. I play live with a 1st gen generator 100, and for home and recording, I have the mkiii 100p. It takes pedals amazingly, and even tho you don’t need a boost in front of the amp, if you use one….. oh man look out!!! It’s just a throat punch! I love it!
I bought the revv 100p and quad box. The thing cranks but so versatile. Can play blues rock the high gain metal then go into clear and play classical .

Cut mode is actually a mid boost. It's meant to help you cut thru.

My only issue with this amp is that the lows on Green are so far and flubby. A boost or OD does help some.
MY MARSHALL JVM 410 SATRIANI IS THE BEST MARSHALL I HAVE PLAYED I KNEW SOMEBODY WAS GOING TO GO THAT WAY AGAIN AND IMPROVE IT..HERE IT IS.
The Trudeau version has the cut button where you feel as if you're not being heard at all!
