Awesome Demonstration Warren! I watched this and you have covered everything on it. As you and I discussed, it is a fantastic machine and a dig all machine. I have read a lot of reviews on the LS, everyone seems to complain about the falsing, glad you brought up the point about winding the coil wire securely around the shaft. I have very little problem using this machine, in the beaches and water here in Texas.
I live in Japan where there are a lot of electrical towers and cell phones galore. I've been having serious trouble with interference. I'm going to try and give the cable a better wrap on the stem and hope that it helps out. Thank you for bringing up the cable.
I know this video is a bit old but I noticed you mount the control box opposite of the way I do. The control box is still underneath the cuff as yours, but I mount it so that the knobs face me, I find it easier to adjust and such as I am detecting. I was wondering if you mount your control box the way you do for a reason.
Best video so far, more Aussie stuff for sure. A little disappointing to not actually hear what you were hearing in the headphones, all about education isn't it.
I suppose he could have placed the audio in the video some how. I am not familiar with film editing or how to get the audio from the headphones to the video. But I do know the Infinium does not have an external speaker like most detectors so unplugging the headphones would have not produced any sound for you.
