Excellent training video on the White's TDI BeachHunter Extreme. It is very thorough so thank you for making this. I bought one of these and have used it on saltwater beaches, fresh water beaches, and on Arizona gold in Prescott. The detector is awesome. It is fully waterproof so I don't have to stop detecting if it starts raining out or worry about windy salt spray. I love this machine and have found lots of treasure with it! White's thank you for developing it and again thanks for this great learning video!

A Waterproof TDI. That's a great improvement. Hopefulle there is a great amount of customers who will use it as it makes a great gold/relic machine in a all day rain, too. Good Luck & Happy Hunting

Whites really knows how to do a Stealth Launch---should have tweaked the much more powerful TDI Pro and waterproofed it,but NO wait until ALL the comp. has waterproof machines and then do a Stealth Launch.
Nobody else has a waterproof PI that can do what this machine can do.

I'd love to get my hands on one of these. Unfortunately, I just bought a Surfmaster PI Dual Field so I won't be in the market for a TDI BeachHunter anytime soon. Unless, of course, I happen to come across a sweetheart deal on one.

White's PI metal detectors are underrated. They are by far, some of the best machines out there. I sure do wish they would add a bit more juice on their Beach Hunter and TDI SL to equal the power of the TDI Pro. Overall, superior machines for a fraction of the price compared to other detectors that aren't as good.
I confirm . That is very much true . White's should take this in account if they wish to remain the run at the first place .

I would've liked to see more options, pinpoint and a disc mode. Maybe switch the sounds as well. I'd have to get used to the low beep being coins.

Withes TDI series are the best PI detectors for a daily hunting . For a specific hunting on very deep targets it is the Garrett ATX big coil. I have got them both . Underwater I prefer Garrett ATX because of its telescopic shaft and its very good pinpointer

Great video, love this detector, but i dont agree with using metal as a scoup, as they trigger the detector when too close to the coil. and you cant wave coil over the scoupe to see if if you have it. also they are extra weight to carry around. But saying this id say this detector is the best underwater beach hunting unit out

Certainly an improvement on the old one.
But i would have preferred non hardwired headphones and coil so i could buy other coils . The 12 inch coil isn't the best for all places .
Anyway its something to watch and look at in the future .
And also it might be able to handle a RNB battery pack , if so that will make it last a lot longer than the 5 hour or 6 hours the normal one lasts .
Is this a tdi pro or sl series? Very curious why go back to the ni me ion batteries and not lithium. Please answer big whites fan I've got a pro aus series and am curious if it will put perform
I think this is due to the danger of fire of the Lithium technology.
Battery selection was something we looked at in depth. The Lithium-Ion batteries present a shipping hazard as well as a danger in the water, and we'd also have to modify the housing to use them in this machine. Performance-wise you will find that this machine is somewhere between a TDI Pro and a TDI SL, though with a very stable threshold.

I seen enough people crying they wanted this hopefully they actually buy it now. I personally would of water proofed your V3I to go against the minelab CTX but now you have the NOX to worry about. But usually the people wanting a PI never buy one so I hope it works out for you.
In mild to moderate ground the V3i is the machine to beat in my opinion, but it does have a weakness other than lack of waterproofing and that is the level of crosstalk between frequencies that make it exceptionally difficult to ground balance in harsher mediums, and as a result it also doesn't keep up with rapidly changing conditions like you'd have on the beach going from dry to wet sand and wet sand to submersion in moving saltwater. From my understanding this was only a minor-moderate problem before the i update which slowed the tracking even more for a better ID. The V3i is my preferred inland tool, but they make better tools for the beach. This seems to be one of those better tools.
The NOX or any Multifrequencies vlf cannot overcome very high concentrations of black sands . They have a limit ...A purist knows that ..
The NOX is not such accurate as it should be in discriminating targets on the beach ... The CTX 3030 is much more accurate !

so is the depth the same as TDI pro? this basicly is a TDIsl but waterproof? i own a TDI pro and that thing is a beast at the beach running GB off you get some serious depth but i need a waterproof 1 looks great cant wait to order 1
In our testing depth was in between the SL and Pro due to the hardwired coil connection.

Muy bueno seria que vendan la caja impermeable para aquellos equipos en garantia y que cobraran un adicional para instalar el tdi sl a ella y para aquellos fuera de garantía que vendan la caja y los riesgos ya corre por cuenta del usuario..
Seria un sueño pedir que se pudiera adaptar una caja impermeble para el tdi pro, seguro ya para entonces saldran nuevas tecnologias y estos tipos de detectores seguiran a la vanguardia... un saludo desde Argentina...
