Goofy in KH3D: "You think we'll ever get to do something important?" Goofy in KH3: Helps Sora deal the final blow to Xehanort alongside Donald. Way to keep yourselves relevant, guys. Also, everytime I see those tendrils shoot from Sora, I think of Venom.
It's pretty clear in both the Data and the Final Battles that Xehanort absolutely needs to Teleport as he never runs! Makes sense considering his advanced Age so if he ran...I actually would find it hilarious how he would run.
Funny enough I replayed through this not that long ago and for the first time I hadn't used my headset (they call through the headset like "normal sound") so when they called through the controller I was pleasantly surprised.
I've always had the controller speaker turned off ever since I played Killzone Shadow Fall (launch title) and the collectable audiobooks played at max volume through the controller and scared me sh*tless, so I totally missed this
The star magic circle actually looks incredibly like the extra life charm in Dark Road. Also, one of the other magic circles had the of organization XIII symbols
I just LOVE how this fight starts in that cutscene in the beginning where the Trinity gear themselves up to teach this old man a lesson for the umpteenth time. Coupled with the epic start to this track and how in synch they are with the chants just makes it all the more cool for me personally. =)
Good video as always, I really loved how detailed the arena was. Just standing around looking at the environments are some of the best parts of this series, especially as the technology for graphics keep getting better over the years. Can't wait to see what the next game is like. side note: I'm actually kinda glad they didn't announce a KH game for the PS5. Cause looking back at history launch titles tend to be pretty divisive in a lot of areas, and I want this series to have as much polish as possible going forward.
The setting of this fight is incredible: -you came in a completely unknown place after abandoning everybody, except Donald and Goofy -you come from 4 exausting phases against the vessels and Armored Xehanort -The music is outstanding, powerful, driving you to the end -Magic circle and Kingdom Hearts give that much emphasis -going to rage mode and seeing the light turning against you -almost dying, but coming one last time -your friends you insulted so many times for not healing you, that you thought they died for good, that they never stole the highlight.
The first time I did this fight I died when stuck in Rage Form xD suffice to say I was pissed lmao I got flashbacks to Xemnas from vanilla KH2 for some reason. Once again a Xehanort triggered me. Kicked his butt the second time though! Great video! Loved it as always!
don't worry, I always died when I got to the part with the Shadow's and Beams. then again i'm on Critical mode and it seems as if the shadows are Undodgeable while the beams break your guard..... not a fun combination
It kinda odd that we see both Sora's & Mickey’s symbol appeared in this magic symbol right here 4:22. This could probably mean that both Kingdom Key & Kingdom Key D are connected to Scala Ad Caleum.
While this fight feels lacking and kinda dissapointing in general,i think i have an explanation of why it being lile that. So DDD already established that every org member now carry the essence of xehanort...so basicaly in the keyblade graveyard every org member fight is us fighting a part of xehanort..even to the point of fighting his younger version, his heartless and his Nobody. After transporting xehanort too scala ad caelum,we get to fight his thirteen vessels which xehanort absorbs for himself..thats why the Goatnort fight itself was more tough..after that fight Xehanort was basicaly was on his last legs so he called forth the X blade to fight Sora one last time, this is why i think this fight was more eaiser compared to the last one..Sora on the other hand was also tired to with all the fighting and also abusing the power of waking. Even tho Xehamort is weakened he still put a pretty good fight(as shown him forcing sora into rage form and then his insane Desperation Move) What i mean to say is i think the game was trying to establish that we are fighting a culmination of all the Xehanorts as every member were part of him..and the last fight was between two battered and beaten wielders.. Idk im really bad at wording things out but i wrote what i thought anyway..forgive my mistakes
Here is my reasoning as to why Xehanort wasn’t using his full power in the main story against Sora. A simple albeit contrived reason is that he was being THAT overconfident to beat Sora with ease. Xehanort had finally gotten his hands on the X-blade and was probably already too drunk with power. He might be just toying with Sora to give him false hope as Xehanort was able to use the powers of Darkness and KINGDOM HEARTS ITSELF to one-shot Sora. However, he didn’t anticipate Sora’s power of friendship which overwhelmed him. Another reason can be found in ReMind with the Replica fights. Xehanort probably had to split his power to create the 12 replicas in order to fight the other Guardians. Having the Replicas be destroyed and then later form into an extremely powerful one which also got destroyed must’ve taken a toll on the real Xehanort’s heart which might explain the power drop. But I don’t mind to see a mod of the data battle in the final boss.
I also want to see mod battles with the Organization in their Data power levels in the graveyard fights. I want to see how Sora would fare against the 3 Norts at their data strength *simultaneously*.
@@marcoa6319 yah the overconfident card makes sense too(as xehanort was evil laughing the whole fight as if he was in control) I guess being weakened from all the fighting and being overconfident after all that might have beem the case of X-Blade Xehanorts' power drop
Hey Bio, here's a fun fact about this fight! If you do enough damage before the Rage Form segment, you can actually skip the thirteen shadows and go straight to the final phase.
thelegoflappy Smith that was actually just how it used to look, as far as I know theres no way to get that one to play now, it was changed with the update for some reason
For the final boss of a story years in the making Final Xehanort was kind of lackluster compared to ReMind Armored Xehanort. Ansem turned into a huge PS1-era demon ship, and Xemnas had a giant dragon and chucked buildings at you. Even Xion was an anthology-ish boss. Final Xehanort just summons Kingdom Hearts (nothing new), teleports around (nothing new), slashes, and does dark fire stuff. It just didn't have the splendor and awe befitting someone literally holding the power of the universe in his hands. Sure, the DM is cool and so is the -za attack. It feels so tame compared to both Data and ReMind Xehanort, which do the same things but better. Put them both together and it would've been hype shit.
Dark Aura never looked so painful before, then Sora does it against the old coot. Geez, I feel the impact of that slam every time I see it. Perhaps the reason why he can summon KH in Scala is because of the same reason he can summon the X-blade, his heart is connected to it in the real world, and you’ve essentially entered Xehanort...
I agree. His "Return To Light" SC really looks like his own version of Dark Aura. Though it looks far more painful than ever. Not even Re:CoM Riku's Dark Aura looks as painful as Sora's.
The difference between the First phase and Second phase is that Xehanort solely targets Sora, in the last phase he Targets Donald and Goofy. Another thing is that if Goofy or Donald hit Xehanort in his rage form phase they drop larger Light prizes than what Sora could normally get
If the Armored Xehanort attacks were kinda samey, then the attacks in this fight might as well be identical, because half of what Xehanort does in this fight is teleport and slash at you. A bit underwhelming for the legendary X-Blade... Ah well, at least his data battle makes up for it in strides!
Just curious if you were planning on doing a breakdown of the Nort Court Bose fight (Ansem Xemnas Young Xehanort) it’s my favorite boss fight from kh3 and it’s the only keyblade graveyard fight you didn’t do a breakdown of if not that’s perfectly okay I was just wondering
An underrated Final Battle. True it’s not on the level of awesomeness and hype as the final battle against Xemnas, but it holds its own level of weight in my opinion.
I love the setting, I love the music, the keyhole effects, the lighting, the magic circle in the sky, even that Sora is forced into rage form. I just wish there was a final door moment like there was in 1 and 2, idk it just felt like a tradition by that point. And wish Scala was more of a level.
Vadan Drumist it’s mostly from KH2 weebs. The Xemnas fight has him turning into a Dragon and had longer phases and difficulties levels were greater back in KH2. Again from Weebs not me particularly.
If you deal enough damage to Xehanort in during the Rage Form segment the segment with the Shadow Xehanort and lasers will be skipped and the first phase where he launches orbs of darkness at Sora will begin again.
Did you know that Xehanort was voiced by Leonard Nimoy is BBS? Evil Spock for the win. It's also possible to skip the Rage Form section by doing a full combo while charging ultima weapon shotlock.
They also patched the animation for the rage form "return to the light" command for some reason when remind came out. I kinda liked the old animation better ngl lol.

I love that this fight confirms Rage Form is canon. I really want to see the series utilize Sora tapping into Darkness in the future.
Me too! I really hope we delve more into Sora's darkness in the coming titles
Same here,
As the light shines so brightly, the Shadows must casts.
I'm also a fan of FFXIV's Shadowbringers expansion.
How is it canon? Enlighten me.
@@CarlyDayDay Because the Boss Fight reverts Sora into his Rage a form by robbing him of his Light

Even in BBS he also teleports
I wish I could go back and experience hearing Donald and Goofy calling Sora's name through my PS4 controller for the first time
Dude it freaked me out
That was honestly mind blowing I thought!
Funny enough I replayed through this not that long ago and for the first time I hadn't used my headset (they call through the headset like "normal sound") so when they called through the controller I was pleasantly surprised.

You are the best kingdom Heart youtuber ever thanks for making my quarantine better
Oh wow thanks ^^ I'm glad you enjoy the content!
Bio-Roxas we really need this right now man!
I think that because Kingdom Hearts is the heart of all worlds, it can appear in any and all worlds if summoned.
The star magic circle actually looks incredibly like the extra life charm in Dark Road. Also, one of the other magic circles had the of organization XIII symbols
Never noticed the plaque at 1:03. There's so many seemingly random little details in this fight.
I've really been looking forward to this video.
I love the keyhole teleporting effect
4:22 Hey look! A lucky emblem!
Thanks for the videos they are really fun to watch
(also personally can't wait for xemnas and marluxia analysis)

Struggling so hard with his DM, thank you for this
The power of friendship outmatches everything even the X-Blade.

Btw such an amazing video
Let’s be honest the dub in that line was terrible ahah
this fight feels like a callback to old rpg boss fights, especially when xehanort sits on the chair
Another amazing video.
"While I thought this final battle was a little lacking, I love the setting"
Yeah I could say the same thing about the entirety of KH3's story.
there's actually an alternative return to light cinematic were Master Xehanort stays in the middle of the arena and is dark-rushed by all sides.
thelegoflappy Smith that was actually just how it used to look, as far as I know theres no way to get that one to play now, it was changed with the update for some reason

ZenoDLC he’s asking for things to be on a larger scale, not to watch an old man do acrobatics

Nice video Bio, did you ever did a breakdown on the triple xehanort fight from the KB graveyard?
Not yet but I plan to at some point!

I like this fight. Just wish it had more different attacks.

Really? That’s interesting!
I would love for you to do the remind fights of him.
The X-Blade is Kingdom Hearts’ Infinity Gauntlet.
what? he never throws his keyblade against me in this fight! nor does he use the keyblade lasers to strike down at me like at this moment 0:52
Yeah they were pretty rare moves! I think they may have triggered like five times during all of my testing
COME KINGDOM HEARTS!
THe forms in the circle are the chesspieces
I wonder why you put the Armored Xehanort theme for this breakdown.
I first fought this fight (armour and final) without using lock. It's the reason my final keyblade was the hunny keyblade.

Everybody calling Ansem and Xemnas edgelords, but after seeing Final Xehanort's chair attack he's definetely king of edginess for me now xDD
JUST HOW MANY TIMES DOES SORA USE THE POWER OF AWAKENING?!?!?
At least 2
Sora should havr gone for the same spot that xheanort strike kairi at.
