Dark Riku's kill quote: "C'mon Sora, I thought you were stronger than that." could possibly be referring to their squabble in Re/CoM, and also somewhat is Riku's line in 358/2 on Roxas to see if he's actually Sora's Nobody: "C'mon Sora, I thought you were better than that." (Roxas replies with: "Look at who's winning!- (gasp)", pretty much Sora.)
It's ironic, because this one battle against Dark Riku emphasizes how far the real Riku has come from who he was before his whole character arc, from CoM/Reverse Rebirth-DDD. And it also symbolizes him confronting his past demons by showing us how much of a better and stronger person he is now. Even Ansem the SOD notices it near the end of the game by saying "What an incredible journey you and I have had. You've grown a might that is stronger than darkness."
When i went on the ps store for the pre order it had a description of remind saying sora went back in time to experience things the other characters went through or something like that. Its worth checking out tbh

I'm surprised you didn't mention how you can use flowmotion to kick off of a wall, get extra height, and then just glide right over the stone pillars in the beginning without worrying about openings at all.
Actually, Xigbar's shotgun attack does have some origin. In KHII, he does a similar motion before firing a blue arrow that can be deflected with the Warp Snipe reaction command, while in Birth by Sleep, his original self Braig can charge up his arrowguns before firing a strong shot.

So you said that the door closing fast was strange. It actually makes sense, if they didn't there would be a certain point at which the door could crush sora even before the time runs out
Huh. The animation for Xigbar's desperation move is a *lot* like Bard's limit break 3 (Sagittarius Arrow) in Final Fantasy XIV. Considering they're both SE games and there's a lot of FF references in KH, wouldn't be surprised if the move was inspired from it.
Man changing to dark riku was the best sht and they should've let riku use his dark powers to transform to otha forms and outfit transformations and playable smh they fked up by removing his powers
Am I the only one that glides over the pillars? EDIT: the sparks are the weapons clashing/grinding on eachother. That's just what happens, nothing lore related
Against Xigbar though it’s an energy shot and a blade rather than blade vs blade. Usually there are different effect for clashes but every time I have seen a guardian of light and a seeker of darkness clash, it has been this same exact effect. Edit: I also glide through everything as well xD

I’m sure you’ll be able to use everything in Riku’s move set in ReMind, given that as allies they have to have some restrictions on them. Sora definitely won’t be able to do everything you can as him when he’s a party member, especially when it comes to Links lol (like could you imagine if he could though lmao). Also after fighting Xehanort the whole labyrinth he created goes back down, or at least time reset itself at the Keyblade Graveyard to before he rose it after defeating him. Originally I thought Riku picked up the Replica off camera after Sora goes off, but the final ReMind trailer confirms Demyx came by while Riku was still there to pick it up. So Riku wouldn’t be the one to pick it up after fighting Xehanort.
They'll have to revamp and expand on Riku's moveset significantly, he only has six (I think that he does) physical attacks and two spells: Thundaga and Curaga. He was only playable for real in two games: CoM/ReCoM and DDD, only Dream Drop Distance is genuinely representative of a potential fully-developed Riku moveset for ReMind.
