I mean it does suck that we dont have a new Full main title Danganronpa game but heck i will take what we can get. Its still nice to see the characters interact with each other again at least.

@greatexplosionmurdergoddynamight The point of this game is to have the characters be in a beach episode setting. Basically don’t expect too much Danganronpa themes here, outside of the characters that is.
This is weirdly not the first time I’ve seen a serious series have lighthearted spin-offs. The Fate series has several of those.

@@junkoenoshima6756I don't think it's a basic timeline as you mentioned because it's unrealistic and the characters turned out to be unreal and a lie. I know it contained drama, suspense and gore, but they remain just unrealistic things that the audience loves and insists on. I believe that Danganronpa S It seems that it is the origin of everything that happened, or in other words, all the characters in Danganronpa v1 v2 and v3 and ultra despair are inspired by it, and don't forget the appearance of strange pictures of them on the beach in all danganronpa games, and later at the end of danganronpa v3 it turns out that all the characters are a lie and that they are based on specific people.
It seems that these are the same people in Danganronpa S from which these characters were inspired. I don't know, this is my personal opinion, but the images of the beach that appear in all parts of Danganronpa may support my theory.
4:25 the fact that Izuru and Hajime are both options, presumably without the game explaining how, its safe to say that its not even remotely close to anything resembling canon.
