You know, I'm just realizing something. Danganronpa is different from of mystery like games in away that'll make you mad as hecc. Danganronpa doesn't give you subtle hints about whats going on with the plot, IT GIVES YOU THE DIRECT ANSWER! But it gives it to you in a time in the story where you'll completely overlook it until it actually makes it's usefulness in the story. And the things that you actually did pay attention to is usually not even important to the plot The you're suddenly mad at yourself for not catching that earlier. I swear this game-
The thing about Sayaka's case is that all "hardness" of the case was lost in translation. Japanese not always learn english, so the dying message that was written on the wall wasn't just upside down, it was in foreign language altogether. It's like you definitely wouldn't find the answer on the spot if it was written upside down in Chinese kanji.

Goodbye Despair's my favorite. My least favorite is v3,mostly because of v3's ending that I am not going to spoil because I want people to go through the despair of that ending

Stephanie D Mikan was supposed to be for fan service so I think that the reason why it was that way. But I wanted it to be her getting stabbed by a syringe multiple times and then getting bandaged up
Like, I thought of a execution idea for Mikan which may be better. (START EXECUTION) So Mikan starts getting beaten up like, really bad by Monokumas dressed up as Mikan’s bullies. She gets beaten up so bad, she gets sent to the Hospital. Then, a Monokuma dressed up as a doctor injects Mikan with lethal poison. Yay, cool Execution.
Peko and Chiaki's executions felt like a stab to the heart. Junko, I swear, I'm gonna teach you some true despair, after I make Nagito hope I don't beat him up.
*fun facts ;;* Gundham tried to act like a villain during his trial so that everyone wouldn't worry about him once he dies. (also...please look at my baby gundham's backstory ). The "beloved" mikan is talking about is Junko. Considering she has the despair disease which causes her to remember things, she was one of Junko's followers. She had fallen in love with Junko during her time when she was a reminant and even when she first became a reminant. (you can see more of their interaction in the dr3 anime, which is kinda like before the whole simulation and even before the dr1 cast locked themselves inside of hopes peak) *despair reminant stuff :* Sonia is said to have forced her country to commit - uh - self die in the sake of despair. Teruteru supposedly both cooked and ate his parents. Soda attached machine guns to cars and commited mass murder. Hiyoko and Ibuki both performed concerts in the act to make people fall into despair. Mahiru took pictures of dead bodies and/or despair inducing events. Nekomaru coached people until they died of exhaustion. Akane is said to have starved herself. Fuyuhiko took Junko's eye and replaced his own with it. Mikan took Junko's uterus and replaced her own with it, in hopes to have Junko's child. Komaeda took Junko's hand. (As they showed/explained in sdr2, chapter 0). I can't remember the rest - if you know the others, mayhaps comment them 👉👈

Also, I didn't really like Sonia at first, because I thought she was going to be one of those girly good girl stereotypes, but then I got to know more about her and she went from kinda low in my best girl book to like a tie for second place
I almost got Nagito’d by my dog. Context: in my backyard and we have this little mesh fence held up by metal poles, so I was playing with my dog in the backyard and I was running with him and he tripped me and I fell on one of the *metal poles* Right near my *heart* _luckily_ it wasn’t sharp enough to impale me but it did wind me for a sec. But it was really scary because I litterally could’ve died right then right there if it was sharp enough. *lol*

I think the only game I wouldn't play would be the first (since it already has an animated version of it). For now at least. I hope to watch that then get the second game (hopefully next month), then watch a no commentary playthrough for UDG, then watch the anime (if I can find the full episodes for all of them and is in the English dub) then play V3. Hey. Here’s a lil explanation. When “Reach for the Stars” is playing, in the execution, the culprit did not mean to kill the person. In every execution in dr2, reach for the stars is playing. So that means every culprit didn’t mean to kill.
It was kinda irrelevant? Like they could have been much more creative with it, like she's a nurse, you could come up with so many better executions for her.
I feel ya. It was visually lame cuz it was supposed to be more symbolical and represent that she was getting overdosed, but since it wasn't as clear as it needed to be, it was weak
I just realized who Mikan's beloved is (Spoilers for the Danganronpa anime) It's Junko. And it makes sense. Once Junko brainwashed her she would do anything for Junko. When she got the despair disease, she was able to remember. And she remembered being a remnant of despair, and being obsessed with Junko. So that's her beloved.
I made a theory about Nagito being Makoto but the ending of Goodby Despair and Danganronpa 3 The End Of Hope's Peak Academy ruined it so yeah....wait but what if- I'm gonna go write this down!

I think the only game I wouldn't play would be the first (since it already has an animated version of it). For now at least. I hope to watch that then get the second game (hopefully next month), then watch a no commentary playthrough for UDG, then watch the anime (if I can find the full episodes for all of them and is in the English dub) then play V3. At least I hope I can do it.

Hey. Here’s a lil explanation. When “Reach for the Stars” is playing, in the execution, the culprit did not mean to kill the person. In every execution in dr2, reach for the stars is playing. So that means every culprit didn’t mean to kill.
