I'm tackling my first job as well buddy and I think you have done a pretty nice job. As for the tailgate put black where the silver is and I think it will pop just great with the rest of the black trim.
Looks good for your first time.. The glue line I understand occurs mostly with 3M when you stop and pause for long periods of time allowing the adhesive to shift/run.
I know it’s a older vid but hope you see my comment lol. Where did you buy your material and what LxW did you end up going with. Thinking about trying to tackle the job myself. A shop quote me 5,000 to do mine and that’s a hard no
@@slow_restoration everyone is bugging me to paint the hood but i like it... So the carbon fiber would be a good comprise. I have the project planned out in my mind but was going to do half at a time... You suggest going all at once?
Looks good. I like your backwards music. Lol 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great job, thanks for your info on making my job a little easer. I do like the tail gate. ❤
Glad it was helpful! Thanks

I’m doing my truck, I’ve only made a thousand mistakes so far, but bit by bit it’s really starting to look absolutely great.

I always remove pinstripe and 4x4 stickers... New trucks are removed before i leave the lot
Some people love them some hate them!
Nice job man👌🏻
Thanks!
Looks really good. What brand did you use? What's an approximate cost of supplies?
I used 3m, bought a full 75' roll just in case I messed up. A roll was $640.
Great color dude. I wish Ford would bring back Amarillo editions
That's what the customer was going after.
BOOM... Tailgate is amaaaazing.
Thank!
Looks good. Big job to tackle for first wrap. Would like to know price. Get more light in that space for sure.
It was a big job, you have to learn some how! Thanks
How much did you charge for that
What wrap roll size did you order 5ft x 75ft?
Yes sir.
Where did you buy the wrap material from ?
Metro Restyling
You did an awesome job. Not a huge fan of the color but quality job.
Thanks, it's bright!
Nice! How long did it take to do it ?
Thanks ,it took too long! I worked on it at random times though.
how long did it take
A little at a time, so it's hard to say.
On my k5 i want to wtap my cowl hood with black carbon fiber vinyl
That would look good, then when you're tired of it just remove it!

Great job!!! Where can I order the wrap from
Thanks! Metro Restyling.
@@slow_restoration how many feet did you need
@lamone kindred I bought 75 foot and used all but 12 or 15 feet. Depends on if you mess up a big panel.
@@slow_restoration thx
Wrap looks good except for the color. My opinion.
It's the customers favorite color! Thanks
Hey Danny, can I get your contact info regarding a project that I could really use your help finishing if you have time.
