Every Saturday, my father would play Arthur Prysock, Lou Rawls, Jimmy Smith, Joe Williams, Frank Sinatea, Ray Charles, Dinah, Sarah, Della and tell me stories. Great memories with these phenomenal in the background.❤
My Farther took me to see Arthur Prysock, Philp Wilson the comedian was the opening act. I was around 15 or 16 years of age at the Apollo theater . We bond on that kind of music. Today I perform many of his songs in my shows. What a Dad, Peace & Blessings
He was always compared to Billy Eckstine, but to me there's no comparison!! Arthur Prysock should have been at the top of that ladder - I'll never understand. I've loved this voice since I was a young girl - and that's a long, long time. ❤🥰❤ Miss his presence in this world.
One phenomenal singer! Thanks to my friend Stephan for sending! I, too am sad that the ending was curtailed, but we have to be happy with what we see! Movie-star looks, and 1 amazing voice! Can't ask for more! Thanks again wonderful Stephan!
Too bad it was cut-off at the end. Yes, Arthur had quite the voice and manner. I remember my Dad mentioning how good he was a long time ago but I didn't pay enough attention then. It's great that people can have easy access to his voice on-line.
The old Lowenbrau beer commercials brought me here. I always wondered who sang this song. Well now I know who this guy is. Thanks for turning me on to something
Why was this Masterpiece cut short.?. Pure Jelousey of the Black Mans voice that's why. Dick Clark showed himself to be the master racist. He,clark came up short...not Author.

Heard him in a funky club in St. Louis many years ago. His brother Red played sax and led the band. He had a voice and then some
And then some...

It ended because the devil cut it off.
2020😭
Mr. Pryscok was passed away in 1997
I always thought AB was broadcast live? I guess not, if the show was recorded in Dec 1964. The podium says "AB '65."
Grandma Holla brought me here.
RASTAFARI LIVETH!
Was Mr. Prysock black ?
I like his deep voice btw. Always been the greatest inspiration to me.
Is the Pope Catholic?
He was black. Obviously.
Yes back then black men use to
Put chemical in there hair
To look white

Sing it now rather prysock
O.K he is great singer but lets talk about those sexy eyes, ya close my eyes, and fine , more close ups please.
I am sorry, but that lady on 2:40 was off tempo, I wanted to die. It was funny, but also painful
