He could sing, act ,dance or do stand up routine.Everything he did turned to gold.He knew that he had a bad heart and would not live to an old age and so lived every moment to the fullest. He left us way too young. He was a first class gentleman along the whole road.Youngsters today could surely take some life lessons from the great Bobby Darin.

I am 15 years old, and all my friends think that I am weird for listening to the late, great Bobby Darin, but I dont care, because I absolutely cannot stand the bullshit music that people listen to today. Back in the 50s, they had real talent. No bullshit "doof doof" in the background, no swearing or trying to be cool, and no lyrics that degrade women. I think that was truly the golden age of music.

I love all kind's of music. Have to say these days I listen the oldies from the late 50's their 70's. Growing up I was a motown girl. Never wanted to work in a night club. Did:my care for that life style. Well turns out one picturlar place I worked at called the Q Pub. I'm a shy Taurus ya know body believer's that. Once I warm up to people & feel more confident than the Pamela comes out I:am a people person. I trust really know one sinece mainly when I had a breakdown . I never got over it I couldn't talk at first so I lost out other wise I'd who knows wouldn't of been tricked. The person that set this all up. Well will skip that. I made amends. They hurt me again. I a slow learner. But back to music. I became the singing waitress. That was where I felt famous. I like oldies because there were basically only a few yrs that I remembered I felt the most balanced. 5th threw 8th grade. I had to fake it to make it. I did life pretty good untill like 37 & plumped spiraled down whatever. Specially3 2 months shy a person you know that knew me bought my daughter & eventually divorced me. I knew it was never most likely gonna work out it took me a while to decide to marry. That person changed to. When I moved to Corpus Christi Tx. I said man is this town just drugs & barbaques. I was a wonderful wife. & A wonderful mother. I was doing great not my other half. Lost to money. We have all gone threw trials & tribulations. Now we're at the end of the end times. Yes I do like new music. A lot of gGospel & Christen... & Others. But when I hear the oldies that brings back the memories not always but for the most part beautiful ones that brings me all the way back there. The one of course that reminds me of my late husband is Elves Presley. Can't help falling in love with you. I really only truly had only 3 loves in my life time . One at 16 yrs old. We loved each other but he joined the service. I was in a real bad reck I lived because it wasn't my time to go. I'd meet him at my Aunt's house in Michigan stayed for summer he was 3 yrs older than me. My Aunt called me in hospital. Told me Mike got a girl pregnant. He named his baby girl After me ya Pamela. Never for get. Well back to music. My voice got better as I aged I akway's asked people can I sing well really no real reply. Than I knew I could I wanted to learn to play gartar. There's reasons why I didn't. I knew I wanted to be a hair dresser a singer. Really in church. Another smithing but wasn't real good in math. But more than anything a mom.

Ricky, Bobby had a very similar upbringing to Ted Bundy's, yet he made better choices. No one is perfect. He was very ill for all of his life but he did not sit on his laurels or seek revenge. He was married for six years and had several heart surgeries, eventually dying at only 37, yet donating his body to UCLA Medical Center for research. If that sounds like an asshole, then I'm twice as much.

I am the only young generation that listen this kind of music. Super classic music and I love the 50s to 80s music

I love these 50's - 60's songs. They are before I was born, but my school had sock hops where they played these songs. I absolutely loved it,?

I remember hearing this on a sale show at like 3am when I was 14 and couldn't get it out my head, my grandad heard me humming it one day and our bond had never been stronger since that day, I envy his generation so much, bobby Darin, everly brothers, the chordettes absolute class!

This is fantastic ! I don't romanticize the past but I sometimes feel like I should have been born much earlier. I love the class of the old singers.

My mother loved Bobby Darin. I didnt appreciate him as a kid and teenager in the 60’s but I am drawn to him now, his music, his charisma, and his tragic story of a life cut short at 37. How cool it is to watch these videos and see the reactions to this amazing talent.

Props to all of the songwriters of these great 50's hits and their surviving families. Hard to replace that kind of sound.

I heard this song listening to Art Bell on late night radio. I instantly fell in love with it. I’m from the’60s but never really listened to this magical music until Art. May you both rest in eternal peace and God bless you both and thank you for posting this beautiful song 🙏👏🏻

Hard to believe they're both gone! I remember listening to Art doing my graveyard shift security venues. It kept me awake.
