I Arthur is my favorite Jazz singer. I think that I have everything that he has recorded. I spend many of my leisure moments searching for music videos of him.
When Arthur Prysock his passing is still a mystery. But this song the extended version is off the charts. My brother that beat in that disco era it rocks and stills rocks today. RIP Arthur Prysock🎶🎵🎷🎸🎤😍
It's lovely to hear Arthur's voice again, for me, after some years of neglect. Along with such as Lou Rawls, Johnny Hartman, good old Billy the Eckstine, this high standard of singing, style, larynx as a great instrument, attack and sustain of notes, all is superb. So many artists were at least somewhat neglected, even suppressed. A Shame.
I was a teen when this was a hit in the seventies. I was surprised that my mother had heard of Arthur Prysock--I thought he was a new artist. He had been recording since the forties. We live and learn.
At work, Dancing in my chair. Going to play this monster, when I get home and move to the groove. No body sings it like Mr. Arthur Prysock !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hell, I will be moving and grooving all night off his handsome, smooth voice !!!!
A smooth crooner. He remind me of any Man that came in everybody Mama life🤔 I walked in a house of live . And this song was playing. At the. tender age of 15 years old. Love is new, before I knew love Is New🕺😅🕺😅
Still remember watching this performance at 16 when this song was on Soul Train. Got a nice bit of radio play on the various RnB stations. Great song and chops.
Arthur Prysock, Barry White and others of that time, sang with class. And acted that way. What ever happened to that? And Marilyn Mc Coo, Dion Warwick, Karen Carpenter had sex appeal. Not slutty behavior on stage or off stage. Women of class. Too many fans today don't know the difference.
My Mother's favorite kind of music❤ thanks for this posting John Barnett ❤revisited November 2023❤
