  • Turf Titan Thatch Buster vs. N-Ext D-Thatch - A quick breakdown and overview. Wanted to take a look and compare these products based on description, ingredients, pricing and reviews. I have not used either of these products, but they do seem to have a lot of importance in the overall impact on lawn and soil health.

Thanks for the video. Just to clarify, Thatch Buster is 28 different species of microbes. These microbes are focused on breaking down cellulose, chitin, starches, waxes, lignin. There are 500 million microbes per 20 drops of water. There is also humic acid in our product. It is quite different than the other product you highlighted. Both great products but a bit different in their approach. Ours is completely all natural. Our microbes are all naturally occurring. You are correct. This product is all about recycling nutrients and using that thatch to feed the lawn. I won't disagree with you on the mechanical aeration and I will have our team address the text on our website. It is a maintenance product for sure. I honestly, aerate every two years and use Thatch 2-3 times a year. I personally am lazy and just don't want to deal with renting and fighting an aerator. I will also, use Thatch Buster to help break down the pods from aerating. Just to clarify. Mechanical aeration is tough for some people. They don't have the money to do it. They have weird slops in their lawns. They don't have a truck to rent one. They don't have the strength or desire to mechanically aerate. Those are the situations where they can supplement with Thatch Buster. Also, yes we have some bad reviews but their are quite a few great reviews as well. Expectations are hard to set and as you mentioned the product does take time. You should see some differences after a month. 2 weeks is aggressive.

Hey Turf Titan, Thanks for watching! I watch a lot of your IG posts. Sounds like you have some good products and reviews can be hit or miss and there are so many factors that go into it; weather conditions, watering, overall health of the lawn, etc. Some people think they can just apply some magical product it will change the entire dynamics or appearance of their lawn within such a short time, or even with just one application. I've been checking out your products for a while, especially being local to the Midwest here, I'd love to try out some Thatch Buster sometime. I agree, manually aerating is a lot of work, and I don't have it in me most of the time for that type of physical labor.

@@MayweatherjrWONandsoTrump Thanks for tuning in! What zone are you in? I’ll have to do more side by side product reviews similar to this. I definitely like the N-ext products, I feel like with extended use, the results speak for themselves.
