Great work....most the videos i watch are 2 times speed...you did that for me....my automotive knowledge is great but where I live there are few Diesels...so i took a quick glance at your video....EASY PEAZY...THANKS ( I BELIEVE I JUST GOT ME A NEW CUSTOMER FOR LIFE...LOL)
Good video from start to finish. A little fast in some places but I could always watch again. Also, big bonus is seeing where all the various engine parts are at in the front of engine. Will be helpful when I reinstall my parts to my newly rebuilt engine 👍

i did my wp a few months ago. Did every right. Now it’s leaking between the wp and block. My question is are you suppose put gasket maker before install it. Or you just put it in with gasket that it comes with.?
@@FixItNick To loosen the nut on my truck, I had to hold the pulley with locking chain pliers and tap it with an eithteen inch crescent wrench to loosen it. Those fan nuts get stuck on there real good. If yours came off easy that could possibly be a sign the pump was replaced recently. Just saying.

I leave the belt off when reinstalling the fan. Turn the pully with your hand to screw on the fan. It's easier that way for me. YMMV
Nice video, other than the way you placed the thermo gasket on was ?? maybe tell torque specs also?

You just need to use rubber gasket it came with, if it’s leaking it could have pinched somewhere

How long does it take
Some say replace the 3 long bolts on water pump with new and I say replace the 4 fan pully bolts with new and lock tite them on.
