I'm very disappointed about the loss of physical climate controls. Touch screen controls are much more difficult to use when the vehicle is in motion. The physical radio controls are a waste. Those should be climate controls.

Very cool video on the 2025 Maverick refresh. My favorite changes are the AWD Hybrid option along with the 4k tow package availability for it as well as the infotainment system and the new colors. I'm a little bit mixed on the looks of the new infotainment screen, but I do like the added tech features. Would I trade in my 2023 XLT Hybrid with Lux pkg? Simply no, but if I could buy a new one I again, I'd likely get the XLT Hybrid with lux pkg in AWD with 4k tow pkg.
I am in the same boat as well. Would love to purchase the awd hybrid with 4K but I’ve already got my 2023 and I’ll live with it until I’ve paid it off in a few years. Also, I will let the new drive train work out the initial issues.
Nice run down of the new offerings. I ordered my Eruption Green Lariat hybrid a week ago. I loaded it up with the moonroof and 4k towing package. Hopefully it will come with the backup assistant package, but I have heard that might not happen on the first run of these trucks. Luckily, I have been backing trailers off and on for over 50 years, so I will survive. Now, the long wait begins! I will be looking for your desert review of the hybrid AWD!
He’s right it makes no sense to complain. If you’re not gonna do anything about it just don’t buy a vehicle and prices will come down. Or they will delete the vehicle as an unpopular item.

I'm just over 19k miles on my 23 XL hybrid, I'm thoroughly satisfied with it. 4k and AWD are absolutely options I would've checked had they been available. I never understood their thought process on the interior color… it was orange and now an ugly blue. Whoever made these decisions needs to be fired. I’m still gonna buy it but the first modification will be changing the interior color that would not match most colors. Imagine getting that beautiful green color to just walk into an ugly blue inside.
That total ass of a front end is going to be ignored by me because I can get the EG color, AWD hybrid, 4K tow. Even at $39,350 w/X-plan it is finally the truck I NEED and the efficiency I desire.
I love that green color but am happy with my 23 xlt hybrid carbonized gray...I don't see the need for AWD as I live in South Texas where it hardly snows lol

My ancestors are from NL, and in the NL you have to quote delivered price including the 21% VAT tax... I don't expect you to quote an after-tax price as we have 50 different states with a huge range of tax rates. Delivery fees started out as a minor few hundred dollar fee that reflected the actual cost of moving the car to the dealership, and the FTC has been lax in forcing the manufacturers to stop this outrageous deceptive practice. Even Tesla which formerly prided itself on not being like a normal car company is engaging in this deception and charges a delivery fee even if you pick it up at the factory in Fremont. I suggest you lean towards helping your audience, who is paying you with their views. The mfrs need to cut this out.
Of all the good and better changes and additions,, the headlights flap thingys, and touch screen climate controls really disappoint me. I applaud the AWD hybrid, great addition. But my 22 fx4 has only 36,000km or around 22,000 miles, so I’m keeping my Mav for a while yet.
I like the loss of the copper/brown Lariet interior trim colors, but orange remains the best XLT interior color. And I love the Lobo rims. OH and the LOBO is awesome but I think I have close to its specs on my '23 EB FX4 4K with more HP. Thank you as always Mr. Haymart! One of the best Maverick channels in the entire UA-cam universe.
What's disappointing to me is 1. No Lariat FX4 option, and 2. No 4K tow option for the Tremor. I wouldn't want a Tremor, but I'd settle for it to get an FX4 equivalent. But, without 4k tow, it makes no sense to me. I won't setting though for the XLT FX4. So, no sale.

What I had for my XLT, AWD Ecoboost w/luxury package would now cost almost $4K more, even more if I add in the full-sized spare which requires the FX4 pkg. It's just not worth it with the loss of the HVAC physical controls, regardless of the enlarged touch screen. Touch screens are nothing less than a distraction, and needless gimmick. I want real controls which can be reached without taking my eyes off of the road, and this isn't it. Especially considering I work at a dealership and see the frequent failures of the Sync system, and experienced consistent and numerous glitches w/my '23 infotainment system. The new accent trim on the XLT is also something I consider a step backwards. The orange was a beautiful and creative accent, the new blue isn't nearly the same, it looks cheap to me. Yes, you address the increasing prices, but when you look at it in reality, it's no longer really an entry level vehicle. Ford is quickly moving the Maverick out of the affordable position it was at its introduction or its follow up year of '23. What I had is no longer affordable on the budget I initially ordered and bought it at. Again, $3 1/5K more, and not worth it! That said, I recently traded mine in for a '25 Chevy Trax (numerous financial reasons), lost the AWD and bed, but got every option, and more, for almost 6K less and still have more features, a better interior, audio, fuel mileage, fit and finish, better ride quality, and more comfort; and got what I paid for it as trade-in value meaning I owned it for a little over a year at virtually no cost. I still like my maverick, it fit the need I have for a small economical pickup, but it fell a little short of what I expected in several areas, though certainly not performance!! ...it could be a rocket! And that's not to say I wouldn't consider another one, I just wouldn't at the new pricing they have. Sure, the AWD hybrid is attractive, I'd have ordered this right off the bat had it been available when my order was submitted in 22. It's just not what many at work (I work at a dealership) consider an affordable entry-level Ford product. And people have priced replacements for their current Mavericks, and only one individual is interested in ordering a '25 -- and they live at home w/ mommy and daddy.
They killed the look with those flaps over the headlights. That is what is keeping me from trading in my 24 Lariat BAP. That and the black top addition. Dumb move by Ford

The issue with putting the HVAC controls in the touchscreen is glitches, screen not responding to touches, the screen going blank, or any other electronic malfunction(remember this is a Ford so all those things are highly possible, lol). This can be disastrous on a hot day if you’re facing triple digit weather. So you and I disagree. Somethings should just remain analog. 💁🏻

SO GLAD I got the 2024. They RUINED the concept of the Maverick. We needed and wanted a simpler and less expensive option. We don't want more DIGITAL crap. My wife and I love the simple, ALWAYS available buttons for environmental and media controls. We don't want a larger, busier screen where you spend more wasted time on a screen instead if fast, simple.buttons. I wpuld NOT have purchased a 2025.Maverick. nope. No way.

Yes. It comes on ALL Mavericks regardless of trim, options, packages or exterior color.

Looks like they have upgraded to accommodate future EV Mavericks. I am pleased with my physical climate and audio controls in 24.
There will not be future EV Mavericks, at least not in this current generation platform.

The neutral tow option where a motorhome can flat to a Maverick is also supposedly not supported on Hybrid awd but may still be in hybrid fwd.

The ecoboost now is a dual injection engine. The hybrid engine is port injection.
SO GLAD I got the 2024. They RUINED the concept of the Maverick. We needed and wanted a simpler and less expensive option. We don't want more DIGITAL crap. My wife and I love the simple, ALWAYS available buttons for environmental and media controls. We don't want a larger, busier screen where you spend more wasted time on a screen instead if fast, simple.buttons. I wpuld NOT have purchased a 2025.Maverick. nope. No way.

It really is a big fumble. You’re relying on slow software for a simple task that have always worked flawless with knobs and buttons.

I had the display break in my car. Waited a week for the part to come in. If I wouldn't have physical controls I would be driving around without AC in 110 degree heat.
This is just a cost saving tactic for manufacturers. Nothing more.
I like everything but the look, price, and lack of physical climate controls. Not a fan of the gaslighting you did in this video regarding price. Prices are going up but are wages? Don't think so. Price is important and these manufacturers are about to find that out. The boomers bought a lot of stuff during covid but now its just us millenial and gen z poors left. Sales are going to plummet for many things.
Say whatever you want, they will sell every single one of these they can build. Show us the less expensive compact hybrid pickup competitor. Oh wait, there isn't one.

We'd buy a new one today without batting an eye. Still nothing close. Show us the cheaper compact hybrid truck. The interest rates tho.....
Kinda mad that I got mine this year, but I love my Mav and its been super useful. That awd would be super useful for work tho, so maybe in 2 years I'll upgrsde when I'm not upside down on my loan 🫠
No offense, but if you're upside down on a maverick at any point in your loan, you shouldn't even remotely consider an upgrade.
