Thanks so much for watching my videos & supporting my channel! xx - Навчання та стиль
I've been using your tips for about a year now and my skin has NEVER looked better. That Rosehip oil is everything!!
I’ve been using raw unfiltered honey as my face wash for about 6 months now and I LOVE it! For a special treat/ face mask here and there I’ll use some Manuka honey as well!
Does it pick up sunscreens etc or do you oil cleanse first?
loved this video and can’t wait to make your natural concoctions! Becca, your hair is so beautiful and healthy looking! You should do a hair tutorial/show what products you use. 😍 I’ve been struggling to find natural hair care that I like!
I just want to say thank you so much for this video. STORY TIME: I recently lost my grandma who was very close to me. I have been crying a lot so I have been seeing a lot of stress on my face from it. I have been really wanting to get into a good skin care, all natural. I plan on copying you & investing! Thanks again!!!
I am so happy you mentioned the sleeping crevice - that has been one of my concerns too!
My skin has NEVER been better since ditching any face products with artificial fragrances and sulfates, parabens, etc! Natural skincare for the win! 💜
Lindsay Cannavino same!
SKDKIDKDJDJDJSJD STOP WITH THE ALL NATURAL THING
@@marleta all natural is better
Parabens are not always bad for your skin... I would speak to your dermatologist before you use natural skincare products because they can actually be more harmful.
@@marleta more earth friendly.
I’m obsessed with all the shea moisture face masks!
Love love love this video and your Young Living products!!! Fellow YL oiler here for 4 years!!! Life changing products is all I can say.
You are my new favorite youtuber, love all of your content on clean beauty :)
Loved this! Do you have any tips on how to make the switch to all-natural beauty? I'm so overwhelmed!
Try “be well” products!!!! SO good!!!💕💕💕
@beccabristow omg I can't believe this video is finally up here! I was waiting for this!! 😘
Hi Becca, I bought black charcoal powder and I mix that with honey or yoghurt to create a face mask. I love it! It also lasts me a long time because I only use like 1/2 tsp for each mask... and sometimes I even put the black charcoal in smoothies. Hope this helps :)
First! I love your videos you are so good at this and I appreciate you taking the time to make these videos
The seedling baby wipes are amazing for make up removal
I love making my own facial products! When I do use brands I like Herbivore Botanical or 100% pure products they are expensive but some of the products are definitely worth the price!
Dayum girl you’re glowing😍 def love skincare products! Have you tried this Kansa wand in your skincare routine? It’s a game-changer!✨
This video is super awesome girl. Sooo much of what I'm in the process of doing right now. No chemicals! ♥ Also love your serum, I would love to make that. Have you ever tried adding zinc into a serum? I love using it & benefits just not sure what your thoughts are on the more mineral type of ingredient. Thanks! 😊 ❤ Also swore off scrubs until an esthetician talked about jojoba beads or shells! So funny!!
Yesss! Been waiting for this!
SO HELPFUL! Thank you for sharing. One question: I noticed on your DIY Face Serum, you didn't include Castor Oil to be a carrier option. Would you not suggest using castor oil? I am very interested in making my own!
love your posts!
question: what oils are safe to use on the face? i know you use Eoils, but are they all ok fir the face? are some safer than others? i’m specifically looking to add a citrus scent to my non-scented face cream.
Yay!! So happy you love our Peptide SPF 30 Becca - thank you so much for sharing with your peeps!! xoxo
Erin's Faces I want to try this product but holy price tag! Natural products are always so expensive :(
I totally hear you lady! But it's 4 oz - so if you break it down per oz and do some comparative shopping I am pretty confident you won't find something that has clean ingredients + anti-aging Matrixyl in it for under $13/oz. Most SPFs in department stores/Sephora/etc are 1.7-2 oz and start at $35. So to have double the size for half the price more isn't so bad. Can you tell I overthink these things :)? Try a sample first - we offer those on our site - and then you can see if it feels worth it to you or not. xo
Thanks for this awesome video! Can't wait to try some of these products :)
I love this vid so much! I like to use natural products because they are much better for you
great video...glad you covered natural non-toxic skincare products.
This is great!! Smart, informed girl!!!
Can you please do an eyebrow routine. Like how you fill them in and also what you do to help them grow? Thank you!
I actually bought this Rosewater spray from Heritage not that long ago after my mother in law told me about it. I love it so much!! Question, is your DIY lash/brow serum empty mascara tube a glass bottle?
Hey Becca! What size rosehip oil do you use for your face serum? I see on amazon they have 2 sizes! 1 fl oz or 4 oz. thanks in advance!
Any chance u know a good body wash to use? Or a recipe☺love your channel❤
Aztec Secret- Indian Healing clay love it! On Amazon too
Hi! I am a new subscriber and am looking forward to a nontoxic lifestyle. I was wondering where you got your facial cleanser bottle, it looks awesome. Thanks again for sharing your tips!
I’m guessing a store that sells refillable containers or Amazon or somewhere like that!
Where do you recommend getting your essential oils from like your frankincense? Also do you use Mur or anyting?
I bought the spf you mentioned! I’ve never used it before but recently learned it’s super important. I followed Olena Beley and she talks about how toners and alcohol aren’t good for your skin. Noticed you use it and I’m wondering if that step is necessary. Love your videos!
I hear people rave about toners too and I was curious but now that I seen your comment..i think I'll pass. I habe sensitive skin anyways and I can tell that rose water would break my face out anyways. Ive always wanted to try rose water though.
Becca! Love your channel. You would love the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay it’s super detoxifying. It’s clean! I checked. Lol It tightens your pores so much you feel your face pulse - in a good way!! Def try it! And it’s so cheap too!!
What was the app you mentioned to find out if your products are natural? Thanks!
What size bottle of rose hip oil did you get? 1oz or 4oz? I want to make sure I get to ratio right in your DIY serum!!
Awesome. Thanks heaps doll 🌈
Where did you get the foaming soap bottle?
I have been waiting and asking for this video! I am thinking of recording videos of myself transferring from toxic to non toxic products. I just ordered my young living products a couple of days ago and I need to order ingredients to make all of your diy products. And thanks to you I have started intuitive eating and stopped using my fitness pal. I cannot thank you enough for your knowledge and support💛
Dont! buy from reputable companies like Plant Therapy, Rocky Mountain Oils.. Companies who release their GCMS testing.. YL 3rd party testing has shown it has synthetic and fillers.. Plus.. the MLM mark up is ridiculous!
Could you send use a different oil other than coconut for the makeup wipes? I'm allergic to cocunut so I can't use cocunut oil
Great video!!! Lots of great info . I use just rose water . Can you advise what the benefit is to use rose water and glycerin?
I use organic cold pressed Costco coconut oil for ages and it really is great as a make up remover with a hot towel. My face is sooo soft since then . I know it’s not for everyone but I really seen huge benefits.
I love doing my own diy products as they work soo much better
Mask
I use equal parts plain yogurt and gram flour ( 1 teaspoon of each is enough for one time usage) leave for 10-20 Min . It really softens and brightens your face better then even the high end fancy masks
Hi! Newbie here 👋🏻 I’m 17 weeks pregnant. Am I allowed to use Young Loving products? Just topically correct? If yes, I can’t wait to get started!
Thanks!
So is it best (day or night routine) to put a serum/oil and then cream or cream and then oil?
love non toxic skincare
For the rosehip oil, 4 or 1 oz bottle? I just ordered the 4 oz, but I see there are 2 options. I’m trying to make the face serum but without the blue tansy bc WOOOOOAAAH $$$$! Haha!!
great video. I use YL oils too they are so amazing:)
I am glad you put in some DIY products. Frankincense is pretty expensive, do you recommend anything to replace that?
u can purchase frankincense vitality its same oil just smaller bottle and way cheaper
Okay I never knew you weren't supposed to use coconut oil on your face really! I was wondering why i've been randomly breaking out around my eyes, because i use fractionated coconut oil to remove my eye makeup, and now this makes so much sense! Thanks!
Unfortunately coconut oil is highly comedogenic
Can you do food videos for pregnancy or anything advice related to eat healthy during pregnancy
This is awesome! Could you piggy back off of this with an updated before and after shower routine?! Xoxo 💋
i am using essence of argan oil day and night and it's really effective and natural
Also do you recommend any non-toxic organic makeup products or fingernail polish products? I'm thinking of trying zoya or KL for the nails
I recently discovered that lemongrass essential oil can remove nail polish! Supposed to let it set and sink in for about 60 seconds.
I've picked up a few Zoya polishes. They're at least 3-Free, possibly more.
Thank you for sharing your broad knowledge with us! I’ve learned so much from you! Wish you the best ! God bless !🤗
Funny question but where did you get you soap pump?
You probably won't get this since it's from 2 years ago, but could I add essentials oils to the lotions you mentioned?
guys if you want an easy skincare routine trust me here you go, for acne
-Lush Angels On Bare Skin Cleanser
-Witch Hazel (Optional)
-Hosehip Oil
After I finished my treatment on Doxycyline, I started using all of these. It’s helped my skin stay clear, and glowy ✨.
The hosehip oil is the first ever oil I’ve ever used, I started using it after I found it in my mums room when I had my first acne breakout and it helped calm everything down and helped my rash on my face calm down too, it also feels really nourishing and it can we used in all skintypes! The witch hazel is the only toner I’ve ever used and I’ve stuck to it ever since, it’s non alcoholic and it helps a lot with acne. The cleanser is just really nice, and it helps clean the face while calming acne down and fresh.
I really hope this works for you! Good luck x 💗
What do you use to dye your hair?? All natural???
What body wash do you use?
what are your thoughts on people saying the essential oils have a negative affect on the body as a whole?
Love it
Tea Tree Oil is strong!
beauty counter charcoal mask!
Random question....where did you get your headboard !!?
Try face halo to remove makeup it works!
aesop, sodashi, tata harper & vanessa megan make some really good masques
Is there any non MLM alternatives you’d recommend for the facial scrub or essential oils? Many people refuse to buy into the predatory sales of MLMs such as young living
Kate J although I am a fan of Young Living, I understand want a non MLM alternative. A company that’s really great for facial scrubs, cleaners, and creams is cocokind. And for essential oils I’d recommend Florihana or Edens Garden. Young Living has a structure that seems to be different than many other MLM type companies but I totally understand your reasoning.
Lush
Revive Essential Oils have better pricing since they don't have to pay the marketers! Their stuff is pretty good!
awesome...
Fellow Oiler here! You’ve GOTTA try Indian healing clay! Amazon or health food stores have it- I always mix it with acv and a couple drops of doterra detoxification blend (I assume YL has one too??)
Also wanted to recommend adding geranium in the summer months to help with oil control and rosemary to your lash serum! I actually drop Rosemary right into my mascara and brow gel and it’s made a craaaazy difference :)
Valerie Rouse does that clay dry your skin out? I’ve been wanting to try it but I’m afraid it will suck the life out of my skin!
Valerie Rouse I totally agree! I love that mask so much! And mixing it with apple cider vinegar gets you a way better consistency than water!
That’s what I suggested she use too! I love it. I mix it with ACV. I heard you shouldn’t use metal to mix it bc it can do something to the properties.
ccap3211 I am a bit dry after- it sucks out EVERYTHING but I usually apply frank and lavender afterward and then use an enzyme peeling gel a couple days later 👌
Great video! What's the name of the app for checking the toxicity level of brands and products? Thanks!
Silvia Au think dirty shop clean is the name of the app.
Igsvt thank you!
I use think dirty and healthy living
Lauren B thanks!
What if you can't handle the smell of patchouli? Anything similar to recommend :D
How come there are very few YL products on the think dirty app and none on the healthy living app?
Check out Beauty Counter! That's what I like to use.
What do you use for your makeup routine?
Check out Crude Skincare line. It’s amazing! They have a mask called Detox which only has French Green Clay and Matcha Green Tea powder.
Love this! Do you use any eye creams?
My Friend owns left cosmetics. It's an all natural, organic, vegan crulty free cosmetic company that she is just starting. She sells her products on Etsy and she has a face mask that I love!!
Do you wash any of the stuff off
It’s really best not to apply essential oils directly on your skin? It’s best to use a carrier oil.
I love making my own toner. I mix apple cider vinegar, tea tree oil, green tea and sometimes a few drops of lemon juice. It works better than many of the store bought toners i have purchased!
I heard the same thing about exfoliators being harmful to your skin because it causes micro tears. It’s been a trend the past few years for people to do micro-needling and a lot of them do it at home with these roller things with needles which makes little tiny holes in the skin and causes tearing when you roll it. Apparently people thing that’s it’s beneficial because they say it stimulates the body’s wound healing processes which results in cell turnover and increased collagen and elastin. If that’s true then I would think the micro tears from exfoliators would actually be good for skin. Idk though! 🤷♀️
Micro needling is a treatment that stimulates the deeper layers of the skin by stimulating collagen production. The treatments that are done in a dr office actually go to the dermal layer of the skin, and are the most effective at creation the wound healing effect. Scrubs just treat the most superficial layer of the skin and when they are made with fruit pits or other uneven particles they disrupt the skins natural barrier function and cause irritation and redness.
For masks, I make own with bentonite clay, faerie organics rose mask, 100% pure ❤all are good and heritage store.
Make a mask with bentonite clay and water!
Please do research outside of the YL brand about max dermal %s and how harmful using oils undiluted can be on your body. Aromatherapists not affiliated (think *paid*) with an MLM brand will tell you that using these products too concentrated can cause sensitization among other problems. I love your channel, and I use oils too, but I've found much safer usage practices by taking information from sources other than MLM's.
I bought the Blue Tansy oil in my last ER order and made the serum and it’s amazing! My ER cart is so full! I have to go through it and take out half of the stuff before it goes through. 😂 I want to buy everything! I already feel guilty for the money I do spend on my ER every month. I make sure to not leave the receipt laying around the house for my bf to see! 😬😂
ccap3211 hello! What is ER?
Lauren B it’s a monthlong ordering thing through young living. It’s kind of like a subscription service but you get to pick out your products and you can skip a month at any time. And you get 10-24 percent back that you can use on store credit and you get free products every month for spending a certain amount of money.
Can someone tell me what app Becca mentioned that lists toxic makeup/skincare? I don’t see it listed in the description
Krista Bee123 Think Dirty
Misty Gaubert thanks!
Theres one more cosmeticdatabase.org
sabina hryniewicki awesome thank you
I LOVE this video!! YL is one of the BEST places to start out for non toxic healthy living! I am all about non toxic skincare and I have a goal to reach complete non toxic beauty by the end of this year! :) Oh, and one of my FAVORITE masks to use right now is the Radiant Violet C mask by Tatcha! Oh my gosh! I got a sample at Sephora and I wish I had gotten a whole 5 gallon tub! Lol 😂Try it out, you won’t regret it! Great video by the way!!! :)
Don't forget about the millions march! look into it...
What do you think of doterra oils?
Blue tansy oil is super expensive
cup a coffee mask from LUSH.
What happens when our hormones are irritated?
i thought coconut oil clogged your pores and not good for your face but more for body and hair? Asking because of the DIY makeup wipes
thanks for not encouraging me to fill my sephora cart with hundreds of dollars worth of grossly filled chemical products! :) random question - what laundry detergent do you use? on the hunt for a new one!
The Peptide sunscreen you are using has Aloe Vera (which can unfortunately cause cancer) as first ingredients We should all apply the know&do better and turn&learn rules.
hmmmm i am actually very curious about how you define chemicals, toxins and natural ingredients. A lot of stuff that people call ''natural'' such as plant oils essential oils botanical ingredients are actually very disruptive to our skin. The safest ingredients are actually the "chemicals" that have been systematically tested by dermatologists. Don't get me wrong. I also spent thousands of dollars that I absolutely regret at Sephora and switched back to a minimalistic style of skincare products proved by my dermatologist. I just want to advice everyone to be scientific. Don't just guess or read online about what's good and natural for your skin. If you are confused, just go talk to a dermatologist.
I agree with this! As a dietitian, like Becca is, I always trust science and the experts (aka dermatologists) on such topics!!
@@sophielouiseS2 I agree! Essential oils are not the best for our skin barrier. And some of the "toxins" reported by the app are safe ingredients that have been proven to not be absorbed or not disrupt hormones, etc. Disappointed.
Most essential oil users are completely unaware many EO's contain Toluene. Its a tiny fractional amount, but its present. I honestly think if MLM reps fully understood the EO chemistry and the risks, Essential oils sales would plummet by 90%.
Skincare should be considered skin food. If you can't eat it, then I would not put it on my body to absorb. We use Face Naturals Organic Skincare. Their ingredients are edible.
The thick dirty app ? What
I love your content and your intentions for your videos, however I’m a double major in chemistry and dietetics. I find it pretty frustrating knowing that you had taken science courses and still say you’re avoiding chemicals. Essential oils are chemicals, glycerine is a chemical everything is a chemical! Non-toxic is very different than chemical free. You have a pretty large audience and I feel like your opinions conflict with facts and that should be disclosed to your more influenced viewers since you do promote that you are a registered dietitian which makes people more likely to trust your word as facts. Maybe link articles that you claim where you read certain health/beauty opinions. Just some ideas to make your content even better and more trustworthy
I love your channel but there is sooo but bs about “toxic and synthetic products versus natural products. Essential oils, plant oils, ect can be awful to skin just as an example.
greenorangeviolet- I’m not trying to start drama so please don’t take this the wrong way, but I’m curious to know why you think essential oils/plant oils can be awful?
sarah shaw there are many products that are natural, but not good for your skin. For example, lemon juice is terrible for your skin as it is too acidic.
nerdygirlchic hi! Lemon essential oil is from the rind and not acidic. It can be an issue with photosensitivity, however.
nerdygirlchic If Lemon Juice is what you’d like to use but are concerned about, the essential oil could be a good option. Hope this helps.
sarah shaw using straight essential oils on skin can be incredibly sensitizing and cause terrible skin reactions. I can’t link articles on here, but there are plenty out there
