The “Alpha Mode” theory is the one I find to be most compelling. In the episode of race to the edge where storm fly is “poisoned” by the slitherwings, you see stormfly produce a new type of blast that she hadn’t been able to do before. This could the nadder’s alpha mode.
This is my theory right here A night fury is called the unholy offspring of lighting and death, if we consider the lightning part it could be that night furies have the ability to absorb electricity, in the second movie Valka is able to help toothless unlock his scales which he could use to make sharper turns but what if those scales are actually used to absorb electricity which could explains why toothless was glowing blue only through the center, but how did toothless absorb electricity when he and hiccup were frozen in ice? Ice can generate electricity when it is connected to a heat source, to put it bluntly, toothless was ready to blow away the ice its a plasma blast but was frozen before he could do it so when the ice and his super hot fire came in contact they generated electricity and during that time toothless absorbed that electricity through his scales which unlocked his alpha mode, now maybe this is an incomplete alpha mode of sorts because ice can’t produce whole lots of electricity but toothless did absorb electricity and maybe that electricity was converted into firepower for toothless which could explain why he could go toe to toes with alpha and blast his tusk off, toothless probably didn’t know he could absorb electricity because he’s currently known to be the only one of his kind , sure there’s the light fury but let’s ignore her for now. So in conclusion I believe toothless absorbed the electricity produced by the ice and entered and incomplete titan mode. To support the fact toothless can absorb lighting , we see in the end of the trailer for hhtyd 3 that toothless is flying in the night sky and lighting is striking his wings and he’s about release a powerful blast. This is just a theory but it seems the most logical answer for me. Edit: Looking back at this after 2 years, HTTYD 3 kind of supports my theory. The light fury sort of taught him how to use lightning and unlock his invisiblity powers,
It's clearly stated that Toothless isn't a full adult quite yet. I rather thought that at the end Toothless' power bost was a combo of discovering his full adult abilities and new alpha mode.
Ok let’s say that toothless is a titanwing for a second, and he’s able to decide when he’s glowing and when he’s not. If this were the case, and he only ever shows the fact that he’s a titanwing in times when he absolutely needs to assert himself, I’d argue it’s more of a humbleness thing. Also how is he supposed to be stealth if he’s constantly glowing in the dark and revealing himself? If anything, becoming glow in the dark out in the wild where they would have to hunt would be detrimental to his process. The reason a night fury is called a night fury in the first place is because it comes out of NOWHERE with striking precision. Constantly glowing would defeat the purpose of being a night fury.
My theory is that toothless was just learning things that other nightfuries could already do, sense we never see any other ones, nobody was their to teach toothless things like the lightning blast, or the invisibility, that the clearly not titanwing lightfury did just fine, and as they are basically the same species, it would make sense that, toothless was just unlocking abilities, or gaining understanding of its abilities, rather than becoming a titanwing, and if it does become a titanwing, it will probably become undoubtabely the strongest dragon we have ever seen
Ok coming back to this year's later I think I've got a decent theory. My own headcanon of toothless' blue form is that it's not something that is related to titanwings or him becoming an alpha. I personally belive (similar to what was already said in the video) that toothless just gained this ability because of the dire situation he was in at that specific moment. I think that the determination to protect hiccup and also save his own life caused him to have a sort of lightbulb moment where he figured out a way to increase the potency of his plasma blasts which resulted in the form. And obviously because of that major power up he was able to produce enough power to take on the bewilderbeast. Which obviously lead to the events of the end of the movie Conclusion. Toothless' 'alpha form is not an alpha form at all and is instead (like what was already said in the video) a Powerup that nightfuries can attain.
And they are a hit and run/stealth type dragon. It’s evolutionarily stupid to become a glowing light show when you want to try and sneak by defenses to attack something.
It probably would be pretty sad because in httyd3, grimal killed almost all night furies. Like, Run toothless! Escape grimal and keep us from going extinct, while a slaughter is happening. Not exactly, but you get what I mean
Toothless' relationship with Hiccup and the rest of Berk could have given him limited access to titanwing *features* Kind of how a mom can lift a minivan to save her child. . . Toothless blew the ice away & fired overcharged plasma. Also, his new abilities could be a result of going through the dragon equivalent of puberty. The glowing bits could double as both a dominance thing & a mating thing - males of most species are the more colorful. . . maturing can also explain the increase of his shot count. We've been given no other examples of a dragon at his stage of growth.
There was stormfly using a blue magnesium breath to save Garff in RTTE. So the alpha state is probably available to other dragons, they just never reach it
My theory is that, Toothless actually became a titan wing because he needs to save himself. It's like an adrenaline rush that lets people become stronger. Toothless did become a titan wing but wasn't able to keep the abilities because he was not ready but was able to tap into that stage.
That does make sense, since if he was in adolescense it's not as if he wasn't becoming an adult. He just jumped too far too soon and had to wait. I agree, that is a good theory
The titan wing monstrous nightmare wasn’t faster than hook fang because of its large size it couldn’t fly as fast as hookfang and was beaten by hookfang and snotlout using its size against it
It's feasable to considder is that Toothless did become a Titan, however as he's still so young the change only tempory. When he does grow up however it would be easier for him to become a Titan as an adult.
What if that was toothless’s titan wing state or something resembling it, Tim made a good point about toothless being kind of young so toothless must’ve turned into his titan wing form but didn’t keep it because he isn’t done growing yet , or that might’ve just been toothless’s partial titan wing form due to him not being full grown.
He technically has the power of a titan wing its just that he can't tap into that power whenever he wants so basically its like he has to get pushed to his limits but imo toothless is a titan wing
He kinda did in the first part of httyd 3, toothless sneaks up on that guard and his scales turns into that blue, which if it was for being an alpha wouldnt happen because at that moment would be completely useless, so I think he did become a titan wing
What if Toothless’s “Alpha form” as you called it is actually a display of hysterical strength? For those who don’t know, hysterical strength is a display of extreme strength in humans, usually triggered by a loved one being in mortal danger. This allows people to do some pretty insane things, such as lifting cars up to get the person in danger out from under them. Toothless and Hiccup have a super-powerful bond of trust and love, a perfect motivator for hysterical strength, and of course, as Valka says, Toothless challenges the Alpha to protect Hiccup. This would explain how Toothless is able to break through the ice, produce an abnormal amount of powerful shots in rapid succession, and could explain the bioluminescence as well. It could be an ability all Nightfuries have but are normally unable to tap into until later in life. (Notice that the supposed Titan Toothless in Rise of Berk is constantly glowing) Just a thought. Loved the video by the way, between this and Avatar, you’ve found yourself a new subscriber man :)
Blue_Lugia Thanks! :D And well, not exactly. People picking cars completely off the ground is ludicrous, but there are several documented cases of people lifting one end several feet up to allow someone trapped beneath to escape. The strength doesn’t last very long and it isn’t insanely great, but it does exist
perhaps this is the transition into the night fury's adult form, hiccup is just on the edge of manhood and due to the reference wouldn't it sand to reason that Toothless is the same?
That would make for an interesting plot: Hiccup gets afraid that now that Toothless has healed his tail he won't need him anymore, and overreacts and actually unwittingly pushes Toothless away and there is a misunderstanding and Hiccup thinks Toothless really abandoned him as he feared; then we spend most of the movie alternatingly following Hiccup's struggle with finding who he is without Toothless, and Toothless' struggle with being abandoned, a huge impact on his self-esteem and stuff, and with readjusting to life in the wild; then some big-bad comes to town and they reunite to save everyone, but not before Hiccup stubbornly tries to do things by himself and fails; the movie ends with Hiccup realizing Toothless completes him more than he does Toothless, and yet in spite of Toothless not needing him anymore he still chooses to stay because they're friends. ps: If lawyers are watching: I unconditionally grant all rights to this idea to the people responsible for making HTTYD movies and related franchise works, and swear to not sue over any copyright issue, or similar matter, in regards to this idea. What if the white night fury is actually an albino but was an outcast from its family and it escaped into the snow to hunt. That's why maybe it's the only other night fury that survived.
That would actually make sense though. Seeing as nightfuries were probably more common in the past, an albino nightfury wasn't unlikely. And because of it being completely white the family wouldn't want to hunt with it because they'd all be spotted. The albino figures that the snow is perfect camouflage and because it was secluded from the rest and nobody thought to look for a nightfury in snowy areas, this could happen.
Cool Theory - never really thought about this. It really fits - I mean if we had seen another Night Fury we would know the common colours of a Night Fury to see if Toothless' markings were Titan Wing or Normal Night Fury by we haven't so this could really work
We actually do, Grimel is the one who killed the night furies, and we see him react to toothless like a regular dragon, not like oh wow a titan or anything, cause he would play his game a tad differently if he was at that point, I think later he starts to become one??? With his lightning abilities, cause the light fury is pretty similar so I'm assuming a regular night fury would be able to disappear like she did, but toothless had to use a unique ability that is clearly new since he passed out both times.
I like how you noted that Toothless's shot count is "about six". XD I've noticed the variations in his shot limit, too. I counted ten shots fired during the final showdown against the Red Death in the first film, and depending on how long it takes a dragon's shot limit to "recharge", you might consider the one shot fired to save Hiccup from Hookfang as an eleventh. Perhaps Toothless has a shot limit, but he can recoup it so fast, it's essentially irrelevant. (That's what I like to think. lol) (I also have no idea which Hogwarts house I'm in.)
this might be kind of weird but most titan wings don't go well with humans and maybe toothless knew that so he stopped being a titan wing because he doesn't want to hurt hiccup and when he knows that hiccup is in a lot of danger he is scared of losing hiccup he turns his titan wing mode on because he is more advanced than other dragons so he might be able to switch it on and off so he turns it on when hiccup is in a lot of danger because he could die making him that much stronger being able to protect him
It is an interesting theory, it just leaves out something pretty basic. Toothless saw Hiccup about to die! His closest friend. The human who saved his life, allowed him to fly again, gave him a home and food, helped him to do the unthinkable: Defeat a Queen! Free his fellow dragons and give them a life they could never have imagined. If someone that important to you was about to be killed, wouldn't you be angry? Wouldn't you have completely lost it? Toothless went Berserk! When that happens for a human your internal temperature rises to high fever levels which increases the body's healing factor. Adrenalin spikes far past even exercise levels giving you overwhelming strength, agility, stamina and an almost super-normal intimidation factor. All of these things have entire books written about them after years of study. If you look at toothless' action's you will see all of these.
What if toothless DID become a titanwing but because he wasn't old enough it was a non permanent transformation but if he was an adult he would have become a titanwing I hope that in the new movie he will transform again but this time it becomes permanent
He just entered an alpha dominance mode to challenge the bewilderbeast like balls also said,And a titan is also the last stage in a dragons lifetime,So toothless is way far from being a titan wing.
Wow! Didn't know that you can fly Tim! To bad that it can only happen when the camera isn't looking... Were you born with that ability or did Mishka give that ability to you so you can serve him better? All hail supreme leader Mishka! KAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Could have been an 'early puberty' too, you know. Extreme environmental stress triggering an extreme physiological response. It's not exactly out of the realm of possibility that the desire to protect Hiccup created enough stress over time for Toothless' body to start pumping out hormones at an accelerated rate. In that situation the sudden impending death of both himself _and_ Hiccup would have been enough to dump huge amounts of hormones into his system all at once, making him(at least temporarily) preturnaturally strong. That's why the changes wouldn't have been permanent at that time. However, if the markings and changes are fairly consistent with what _could_ be a Titan form for Toothless, it is possible that he could become a Titan Wing once he matures properly since he may have already unlocked it.
Daniel 83012468013579 I think the spirits from ATLA are the spirits of the departed, but took another from compared to their original looks when they were alive.. The ancient ones like Koh, Mother of Faces, the statue lady from the comics are possibly the spirits of those ancient beings that have huge powers.. or maybe the two prime spirits created their own descendants... thus we have good and bad spirits.... but all bad spirits are corrupted forms of the original good ones right? Idk.. we need more info about the spirit world, my assumptions came from Korra (I think I'm gonna watch it again because of your question)
Daniel 83012468013579 after I finish rewatching MS Gundam 00, I will watch it again! What are your opinions about the spirits? Honestly, at first when I saw the white spirit wrestling the dark one, I thought they were f*cking.. because of their positions with the girl being the dominant... -- and my mind is corrupted by the internet, so don't blame me :3
Super Kamehameha! (Insert face palm emoji) to what you said at the end LOL, well with the very limited research and info I'm aware of I don't think spirits reproduce however I do think spirits can be related/created by other spirits as the face spirit from comic u were talking about is the mother of Ko the face stealer but I don't think she had sex with the centipede spirit to make him I think I may have been more like she made him and calls him her child because of that
Griffindor here, I love your channel so much! I learn a ton every video, and you're so entertaining, and it's great to see someone who isn't ashamed of showing their inner kid on camera.
Yes- red queen isn’t an alpha. The Bewilderbeast is the KING. Like Valka says, “Every next has its queen, but this, this is the King!” Showing the bewilderbest can control the red death. Well- at least that’s what I think.
I had the idea that maybe Night Furies in general might be an Alpha species just like the Bewilderbeast so maybe they have that natural instinct to protect from that plus the glow might just be an evolution thing
So since nightfuries may be a cave dwelling and/or a nocturnal species, this might just be a naturally occurring visual display for low-light conditions? A sort of display of dominance intended for other nightfuries potentially.
yes, but i did the Pottermore quiz twice. i got Gryffindor BOTH times, with no tinkering (researching answers) I'm clearly meant to be Gryffindor, so maybe i was placed into the house to grow and learn to show the Gryffindow traits? kind of like Neville did?
i took the Pottermore quiz 4 times and got in this order: Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw. so i guess im a Ravenclaw XD i only got the independent and creative part of Ravenclaw tho:P
Haven't watched the video yet, but just here to say that in the books, Toothless turns out to be a seadragonus giganticus maximus instead of a common garden dragon like originally thought. So yeah.
The Black Panther suit absorbed kinetic energy and then released it as a shockwave. Toothless can fly, shoot plasma bolts and echolocate. I don't see the similarities.
Tim Mentioned that titan wing dragons have markings that makes them different. (idk thats just what i remember) Me: i thought Toothless is only one of his kind
Sereral times the comment was " Toothless MAY be the last of his kind." No one Knows for certain. Grimmel thought he killed them all. But there is Toothless, alive and doing well with Hiccup. You may have noticed Grimmel is a bit arrogent. Finding the lost Night Furies, would make a great 4th movie. Toothless is young, and with the light Fury can have more youngsters. But, if there aren't many Light Furies in the lost world or that region either, then that isn't a good thing for Toothless & his mate's youngsters. They are intelligent, inbreedind is a Bad idea. Escaping Grimmel was a smart move for any survivors, esp. if they were young like Toothless in the first move. So searching out possible Night and Light Furies elsewhere in the world would be a good plan. It's a pretty big planet. The "Furies" of both kinds had lots of world to dissapear into. Hiccup and Toothless were expanding on the map of the world the Vikings know. But the Vikings weren't looking for Night Furies. And Hiccup's map isn't all that big. Yet.
Toothless is not of age but he still mite have a titan wing change latter on that stays. Toothless could have just tapped in to the ability of a titan wing and show features of what he would look like as a titan wing if and or when he becomes a titan wing the reason for this is rather protective or in an alpha state like you said in the video. Toothless is a dragon with a kind that seems to be gone or never to be seen again and most likely to have many secrets to uncover. but this is just all a theory I have.
Personally, I’m in the camp of ‘alpha mode’ rather than titan-wing. There’s a good case for the latter but as you say, those changes are permanent and Toothless seems to be able to glow at will rather than all the time. In my own stories I dubbed the effect ‘Fury’s Fire’, as a nod to it happening to Night Furies And also that, in my headcanon at least, it happens when the dragon is really, well, furious. I also made up my own version of a titan-wing Night Fury; bigger, stronger and with iridescent spines/markings, so they look like the night sky come to life :) I do wonder if other dragons have some kind of advanced ‘avatar state’ or if it’s just certain breeds. After all, in ‘no dragon left behind’ Stormfly shoots brighter, hotter fire than normal when she’s attacking the Slitherwings to defend Garff, a dragon she’d come to really care for. Astrid even says it’s “her new trick” (I can’t remember the exact quote). Could that have been Stormfly on the verge of going super saiyan? Great video as always; and of course, before I forget, all hail Mishka!
ShadowGamerHD yeah...I have no idea what np stands for. Sorry, I’m not really with it today. Oh, unless it stands for no problem...yeah that’s probably it XD
Titan wings are generally born titan wings. Most times a dragon is large and notably different from others of the species in terms of things like claws and spines, things that don't just grow in after they are adults like Toothless.
he got his "alpha mode" when he killed the red death. he just tapped into it to challenge the bewilderbeast as alpha vs alpha. and the lightning powers have always been with toothless, he just didn't know how to use them.
I do feel like the 'titan form' we see is more like a "berzerker mode" ie just a power boost. Although it should be called boss/alpha mode to have it fit
My theory is that Toothless has always been a Titanwing. Light Fury is the original form. Think about it- Toothless is VERY rare(possibly last of his kind) is bigger(from what i can tell) and is differently coloured. Just a theory.
@@joshuafazzani2952 no because when toothless and the light fury made kids, the kids are night lites, so I think they are a subspecies of the night fury, kinda like horses and donkeys-different species but when mated makes a new subspecies called a mule
Well maybe it's just because he challenged/is the alpha (I'm just going off the 2nd movie) because we have only ever seen bewilder beasts (sorry if I butchered the name) as alphas so maybe this is what an alpha night fury looks like. Idk I don't really have any evidence besides the fact that we've only seen 1 particular dragon as the alpha
On the game school of dragons (a how to train your dragon game) they show toothless as not a titan toothless but as an alpha toothless so idk but i think your on to something
The same as Pikachu never evolved into Raichu, because he is more cute, lovable and more iconic, Toothless will never change his shape or form. Just a theory tho
The Fandom first, nice house! Second, no need for house hate, third, I can't help by FIND your conclusion about Syltherin superiority incorrect ( I'll just stop leave, as that joke was so bad, I feel ashamed). ;-)
Isn't this just straight up from the books? Where toothless is thought to be a common garden variety dragon, which is tiny, but he's revealed at the end to actually be a baby dragon of a species that grow to be the largest dragons in the world and also live to be the oldest.
Then why did he turn his scales blue in the beginning of httyd 3 during the first part of the raid? Because showing his "alpha mode" wouldnt be useful at all
I did some research a while back, and this ability that Toothless gained is called a “Challenger” Mode or something like that. All dragons that aren’t Alpha’s themselves, are able to go into this mode to challenge an Alpha. It’s why we never see Toothless use this ability in the movies after this battle, because it can only be used against an Alpha.
Put you in a crazy house! Lol! I think that toothless is beginning to be a titan class Dragon. He can only use the power when the need is dire. Like Goku becoming SS1 vs freiza for the first time. However I think that this drains his energy and he has to recuperate from the output. I think that's why he let all the other dragons attack the alpha afterwards. Not as tired as eragon when he used his first spell, but as Brom said, it's up to you to figure out the limits of your strength. Paraphrase, if you use something before your ready, it could leave you weak or kill you.
I am a Gryffindor, but I'm not being a cliche harry potter fan, I actually am in Gryffindor, but close to ravenclaw. 39% Gryffindor 32% ravenclaw and 29% slytherin
The “Alpha Mode” theory is the one I find to be most compelling. In the episode of race to the edge where storm fly is “poisoned” by the slitherwings, you see stormfly produce a new type of blast that she hadn’t been able to do before. This could the nadder’s alpha mode.
i agree
I think when toothless is a titan wing it is in the homecoming season but I think he is a titan but he shows that The markings are invisible
Yeah I agree too
Ye but dean did confirmed he is not a titan wing all dragon go threw that.
I just think it's an alpha mode that's some night Fury's have like a royal family

(Notice that the supposed Titan Toothless in Rise of Berk is constantly glowing)
Just a thought. Loved the video by the way, between this and Avatar, you’ve found yourself a new subscriber man :)
Nate TSO I like your theory. 😊
But isn't people lifting up cars just a myth? 😞
Nate TSO I like your theory
Blue_Lugia Thanks! :D And well, not exactly. People picking cars completely off the ground is ludicrous, but there are several documented cases of people lifting one end several feet up to allow someone trapped beneath to escape. The strength doesn’t last very long and it isn’t insanely great, but it does exist
Somebodytouchamyspaghett45 Thank you :)
perhaps this is the transition into the night fury's adult form, hiccup is just on the edge of manhood and due to the reference wouldn't it sand to reason that Toothless is the same?

oooh he's gonna be bigger and cooler in the next movie! yassss WHAT IF HIS TITAN FORM REGROWS HIS TAIL!?!?!?
That's... actually a good point.
~ Tim

What if the white night fury is actually an albino but was an outcast from its family and it escaped into the snow to hunt. That's why maybe it's the only other night fury that survived.
That makes no sense whatsoever.
Alternatively, what if all "night" furies are white and toothless is the "albino" outcast.
If that were the case, then Toothless would be Melanic, not Albino
That would actually make sense though. Seeing as nightfuries were probably more common in the past, an albino nightfury wasn't unlikely. And because of it being completely white the family wouldn't want to hunt with it because they'd all be spotted. The albino figures that the snow is perfect camouflage and because it was secluded from the rest and nobody thought to look for a nightfury in snowy areas, this could happen.
“White Knight fury”
@@Reaping_Matster but how come Grimel killed all of the night furries except for toothless if it were not that special?

Toothless after the bewilderbeast incases him with ice: This isn't even my final form
(That's what I like to think. lol)
(I also have no idea which Hogwarts house I'm in.)
Wait so a Titan is kinda like the biggest and king of that kind of dragon?
No
It's like when a dragon goes Super Saiyan... Forever.
No Its like a alpha but not like a leader its like a ultimate form of the dragon
It kind of is. KIND OFFFFF
Its like a when there is a small dog or cat that has a different sized cat
this might be kind of weird but most titan wings don't go well with humans and maybe toothless knew that so he stopped being a titan wing because he doesn't want to hurt hiccup and when he knows that hiccup is in a lot of danger he is scared of losing hiccup he turns his titan wing mode on because he is more advanced than other dragons so he might be able to switch it on and off so he turns it on when hiccup is in a lot of danger because he could die making him that much stronger being able to protect him
NinjaPlaysARK ninja Good Theory
Nice point!
NinjaPlaysARK ninja deeep shitttt
Valka had a Titan Wing, So did Viggo and Drago but it's an interesting theory tho.
Remember how I released Toothless' back spines in How To Train Your Dragon 2? That is another new power, making tight turns!

Reminder:
Do ATLA spirits reproduce??
Daniel 83012468013579 I think the spirits from ATLA are the spirits of the departed, but took another from compared to their original looks when they were alive..
The ancient ones like Koh, Mother of Faces, the statue lady from the comics are possibly the spirits of those ancient beings that have huge powers.. or maybe the two prime spirits created their own descendants... thus we have good and bad spirits.... but all bad spirits are corrupted forms of the original good ones right?
Idk.. we need more info about the spirit world, my assumptions came from Korra (I think I'm gonna watch it again because of your question)
Super Kamehameha!
Happy to hear I inspired someone to revisit the ATLA universe :)

Honestly, at first when I saw the white spirit wrestling the dark one, I thought they were f*cking.. because of their positions with the girl being the dominant...

If the red death controlls dragon and the bwild beast controll dragons cant the bwild beast controll the red death
Nikki Hupke yes
Maybe. Good question.
That’s what I was thinking the red death isn’t a dragon in my opinion I think it’s just a Monster
no. alphas cannot control each other.
Xxminecraft pugxX that’s actually a very good theory, seeing as they are so evolved (more than most dragons) and very powerful.
So since nightfuries may be a cave dwelling and/or a nocturnal species, this might just be a naturally occurring visual display for low-light conditions? A sort of display of dominance intended for other nightfuries potentially.
Xxminecraft pugxX congratulations! Your toothless evolved to Alpha toothless!

1 year and abit later, After Watching Black Panther, Toothless & T'challa's suit have similar abilities... plus they glow a bluish/purplish colour lol
The Black Panther suit absorbed kinetic energy and then released it as a shockwave. Toothless can fly, shoot plasma bolts and echolocate. I don't see the similarities.
Nukestarmaster they're both cool
Tim Mentioned that titan wing dragons have markings that makes them different. (idk thats just what i remember)
Me: i thought Toothless is only one of his kind
I’ve officially heard “Titan Wing” way too many times
8:23 funny, when he learns to become invisible and literally goes "super sayayin" acquiring the skrill-like thunder force to blast.
I also made up my own version of a titan-wing Night Fury; bigger, stronger and with iridescent spines/markings, so they look like the night sky come to life :)
I do wonder if other dragons have some kind of advanced ‘avatar state’ or if it’s just certain breeds.
You're absolutely right. I hadn't thought of that point about Stormfly! I think you may well be right. All hail Mishka!

I'm new to the how to train your dragon lore but I think that toothless' torn wing limits him from going into Titan Wing form (just a thought)
Connor Gerein That's a good explanation of why he didn't stay a Titan Wing for long, actually.
Titan wings are generally born titan wings. Most times a dragon is large and notably different from others of the species in terms of things like claws and spines, things that don't just grow in after they are adults like Toothless.

Someone once asked me to describe toothless to them and I said "imagine a cat dragon" showed her a clip and she was not dissapointed aha
