Sending love & positive vibes for a healthy & safe delivery !! I’m sure you’ll be just fine with Bogie & the baby !! I think Bogie will somehow know that the baby is a baby & will be good with the baby 😅 all the best Emily to you, your hubby, family & Bogie ❤
Yup, you have to be really careful about what you allow your bird to be out with your baby! You are in complete control over the situation. It is our responsibility as parrot owners and parents to keep both safe! of course accidents may happen and it's not the end of the world but we want to decrease risk/accidents as much as possible.
Why do you not call them Galahs? They belong to the cockatoo family but this species is called Galah, for centuries in Australia which is their country of origin?
@@sarahmill6963 Are you from Australia? Could just be a language difference. I like to call Bogie a cockatoo on UA-cam/social media so my messages can reach a larger audience too. I want people to know that "cockatoos" are difficult birds to manage within the confines of a human home, not just galahs. A lot of people don't know what Galahs are!
@@flocklife I am Australian and that's why I am questioning this. People will never know the species name if you never use it! 😆 In Australia and really all the world we use the correct specific species name to differentiate between the many cockatoo species. There are 3 different galah types alone and so many cockatoo species. I just can't understand why you wouldn't call them what they are called in their country of origin? Galah is a beautiful name with a beautiful indigenous meaning
Wishing you well. What an exciting new chapter for you and your husband. Good luck with everything.

We call them galahs as well. White Cockatoos and galahs share the same scientific classification Family:
Cacatuidae which is a cockatoo :)
@@flocklife yes, I know. Same family different species. I've never seen or heard you call them galahs and I wonder why?
