GREAT VIDEO. THANKS FOR taking the time to explain things when needed
Instead of fast forwarding through
THIS IS WHY I SUB FOR YOU AND NOT OTHERS
Dude, Eastwood should hire you!
Best "teaching" video I have seen.
Thank you so much, you are a true craftsman.
nice work, very helpful finding a vid to see what's going on under the frame rail. The mystery holes are for brake line brackets
Buddy, thanks for these videos.
I am restoring a 75 Firebird and have the worst frame rails ever.
Your videos are gold to me as far as how to fix mine.
You should consider teaching this stuff at a community college in your area.
Very direct content and easy to listen to.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers,
Brian from Canada👍
Beautiful work man
Good job man! That looks awesome.
Awesome Dan .. love your work.. becareful out there
Closer and closer, always nice to see great work !
Thank you! It is going to feel great to have the other one completed.
Thanks sooo much for the great videos. We are in the exact spot with our 78. Got the new torque box in and working on fabing up the end of the frame rail. Thank you for helping build my confidence.
That repair tuned out great!
Thank you!
That came out great!! Your video is really good too, very efficient for the viewer. Top quality just like your repair!
Thank you for the feedback! I'll see what I can do to keep the videos similar to this one.
Nice work locating all those holes! Came together nice. Bet it feels like a great milestone to be past!
Thanks! I'm so happy to have the torque boxes finished up. The amount of work that went into them was more than expected.
Great work! Keep up the video's!
Thank you!
Great job! Enjoyed your videos. Go ahead and work ahead. The other side is just the reciprocal of the passaged side. Progress is great. 👍
Thank you! Yes it's the same work. I'm planning on doing one full video for the other side so we can move on to something new!
can you make it look hard to do? just a little, lol, fantastic work, your the best
Lol, the power of video editing! I would rather replace a quarter panel over a torque box any day.
Looks better than factory Dan!
Thanks Russ!
Hi, I have been looking at new rear frame rails that are available on the web. Their 'complete' rail: starts at the rear bumper, moves forward under the trunk and stops after it does a 90 degree rounded-turn (I guess under the back seats). The part that I need to repair is still further forward of that. Maybe even more forward of where you did your repair. Nobody seems to sell that front part of the frame rail. Does it have to be custom made? Maybe it isn't part of the frame rail and is part of the floor brace that the frame rail connects onto by welding? Thank you for any help.
Chevrolet is going to be mad at you , making a rust repair better than original! 😁👍
Did you take time to media blast out as much of the inside of the frame rail & re-prime inside? Seems like a stupid question, but I had to ask.
Love the videos! What are you using for weld through primer?
Thanks! I’ve been using Seymour 20-1675 PBE professional self etching weld thru primer. I get it on amazon.
Where did you go ..hope things are good with you
Hey man you ok there Dan ?
All good Anthony, thanks for asking. I moved to a new home and have been working to get situated. I hope to have an update video out soon, maybe this weekend.
