I love Dan’s style. It’s very creative and knows how to employ dynamics and contrast when needed. Fitting right moments to blast and when to pull back. Devour me Colossus or and plague flowers the kaleidoscope. His YT channel has play throughs of these songs.
Finally someone does a song that is not Plague flowers! I LOVE Plague Flowers but its kinda annoying that its almost the only song people reacts to from this band

I agree. Their first album is excellent, but I feel like their songwriting has only improved in newer albums

Why is it "silly" to play a blast beat? I mean... I get that they're WAY overused and I try to not use them unless it seems necessary to the song I'm writing to, but nothing on drums is "silly"... unles your name is Aaron Kitcher, and you program all of your drums and can't actually play them live.
