Awesome video and list!
Will definitely try to hit up some of your listed rock landmarks on our visit next month!
Fantastic! Glad you liked it
Nice job!! You had me at Queen & Bowie! An old friend of mine used to say that in his mind, if he ever were to hear God speak, he would sound like Bowie. Would have loved the Police added more! But, you added the cherry to this rock sundae with The Rolling Stones!! They just played Foxboro two weeks ago. I would have added a video clip, but doesn’t seem I’m able.
Nice. I saw the Stones in Foxboro in 1994. They actually played Monkey Man off of Let it Bleed- my favourite Stones song ever! Thanks for the great comment 👍🏼
The Safety Pin was a nice touch.
That’s the first time in 3 visits that there wasn’t one there already.
Great vid, though I'd put both The Police and Dire Straits as Newcastle bands as their lead singers came from there (as do I so I might be a little biased).
Thanks
Yeah. A little creative licence on the Honorable Mentions 😅
Appreciate the local historical background of the places, and hope to me in London someday when I don't have Covid. Obviously a bunch of disagreements, buts thats expected.
Would you have had any interest in putting The Damned or The Pogues on the list? Most people think that The Pogues are an Irish band but they considered themselves a London band.
My plan is to do a series if this takes off. 80’s. Pop. Soloists.
Thanks for watching. Feel better!
No Elton John? Queen’s faulty rating?? Sure there are lots of amazing music in London, but come on! Still a great vid
Fair enough. But I stand by my list 😉
