Markets by the river Thames is captivating, one can look over across the river the tower bridge, gazing at you ,it's beautiful spot to eat something as well as to have the view of river, breathing the breeze which is fresh and calming.its preparation before hand of Christmas, and in this cold weather it's good way to feel warm by strolling round many markets. The Spitalfield I think is far more interesting.but it's beautiful video, you are looking great
Worked a short walk away from Leadenhall Market, used to drink in the Lamb when lunch time beers were a thing (apparently they aren't now). Great vid a music.
We are going over next week from Northern California! Can't wait and thank you for your tips, we are going to Covent Gardens and Trafalgar square for sure, and I also want to see Fortnum and Mason Department store!
I've been watching these videos, and I have to say, really enjoying them. Imo the most entertaining travel channel I've seen on youtube so far, you can feel the excitement.
Noooooo stop it now. I am meant to be working on my Children's Stories content for my channel, but being distracted but fabulous festive videos like this!!!! 😇
I think I'll stay at home and save money. 😀 If you have any interest in the old London docks you can find some vids on YT. Also, there is The Pool of London 1951 movie (available on DVD) that shows the old docks. Especially interesting are the views around Shad Thames, Tower Bridge and Pickle Herring Street where the former City Hall is.
Free music can be limited- especially Christmas music. I had a great little soundtrack, but it got dinged for copyright (even though it was on a free site), so I had to replace it. Infuriating.
As a Londoner I would clarify your statement for overseas visitors, "There is nothing more magical than Christmas in London." You are quite correct in that the BUILD UP to Christmas from early November is magical but actual Christmas .... Christmas Day & Boxing Day & the following few days are dull, dreadful & boring. Transport does not move on Christmas Day with Boxing Day limited services. Plus virtually all overland railway lines into/out of London do engineering works Dec. 24th to Jan. 1st so it is almost impossible to get into London. In fact this festive season is the worst ever for closed down rail services due to works. So in short do NOT plan a visit to London for actual Christmas - it is awful.
Have to agree particularly the time between Christmas Day and around January 10th - the time of year I least like in London. Yes, the build up period is great 😊
It's just overkill! I mean who the hell wants to walk about bloody freezing, maybe get mugged, hypothermia or frostbite, just to get fleeced with these markets? I will buy a big issue and give a few bob extra to those less fortunate than me! Get back to true Christmas values, makes you feel better!
London is totally addictive at Christmas, can't beat it!
💯

Great vid a music.
When you retire and start a UA-cam channel, lunchtime beers are a thing 😂😂
What a great video, thank you!!❤
Thank you for watching! Cheers 🎄
Thanks, noted everything, we are going in 3 weeks
Sweet! I’m also putting out a Winter Wonderland carnival video this week. Make sure you catch that one, and have fun!
It was a dreadful movie, wasnt it... But this video just made me smile. Thanks for sharing all the markets then just the most popular 2-3
You’re welcome! And thank you for watching. Merry Christmas 🎅🏼
I am hooked on your videos. Bit biased as I was born and raised in London now living in Canada it is a great intriguing city
Thank you! That means a lot to me. Cheers, mate

Excellent! I’m doing a department store and High Street Christmas episode in a few weeks. Fortnum is beautiful. Make sure you stop at Herrod’s too!

Very nice! I liked all of them. I can't wait to move there.
I hope you get as much out of moving here as I did.
I am going next week from the US ! I am so excited !
Wonderful. You’ll get to catch some markets that were not up yet at the time of filming, like Camden and King’s Cross.
Enjoy! I love London, it’s magical and so incredibly historic, I go whenever I can. Don’t listen to all the naysayers!
Thank you for a great video!
Thank you for watching, and Merry Christmas!🎅🏼
Subscribed. Living in London and will check out some of these market. Merry Christmas 🍾
Très sympa cette balade de Noël dans les rues de Londres.
Merci beaucoup, mate

I haven’t experienced this yet. And my parents are coming Christmas week. I’ll tell you how it goes. Thanks for watching.
How about people just watching and enjoying the video without the cobblers critique. Don’t like it= don’t watch it…
Actually, Bob, all interactions help the channel, so I welcome every comment- no matter how rubbish 😂
We're a Christian country pal. Two days without mass consumerism isn't going to kill you,

I don’t agree with everything you said Ronald, but as I do every year, helping the less fortunate is a given at this time of year.
