This was mine and my cousins favorite movie to watch together growing up. She passed away a few months ago, I feel like this showed up on my feed at the perfect time to feel close to her again, so I thank you for that. Awesome watch-through, guys 🙏🥹
First, let me say that I'm so surprised that this channel reached to this movie or any tyler perry movie or any movie with an all blend cast that wasn't Oscar nominated or about the hood with famous rappers. I'm surprised but so damn happy. You have an AA following as well and we are so undeserved, not just in this channel but many others. I was a patreon of at least 2 other very popular channels but stopped because they would not do ANY movies with a predominantly black cast. You could request them as much as you want but they would never do them or they would ask for a vote and unfairly stack the deck. So THANK YOU! Secondly, this was a great reaction. I'm glad you chose his first reaction to start with. Tyler Perry has some good movies. They are not all good but he has some that are definitely worth watching. Next I would do Why Did I Get Married and Why Did I Get Married Too? And maybe try some other AA movies like once a month. They are other great movies out there that would do well and open you up to a larger audience and feed more of the audience you already have. And third, there is a lot of black culture in this movie especially from a black gen x perspective. The strong grandmother, the family talking sh!t to each other all the time, the strong faith, and despite the women having some serious issues, they are still good women. Tyler movies lean heavy on black women. He writes what he knows. He was raised by only women in his family and based madea after his mother and aunts. All of us are familiar with a "madea" figure. There are some people that think he bashes men but they somehow always overlook the good men that are in the movies as well. There is always balance. Again he writes what he knows. Remember he not the only black writer and director or there that deserves a look. Anyway, great reaction. As soon as I saw the thumbnail, I clicked so fast. Lol! I was just so damn shocked!!
A Number 4 is an old reference. In cheaper eating establishments people would order food by number. The guy with the cool voice actually did animation voice work. In Static Shock he was the voice of Ebon.
Tyler Perry writes the worse men known to man . And eventhough we have outgrown his humor these movies his films will never be forgotten because the discourse around much we hate the men in his movies never dies 😭😭😭

Yes!!!! If we are going down this road I have so many recommendations lol. Why did I get married Daddy’s little girls Acrimony Temptation: confessions of a marriage counselor The family that preys Madea’s big happy family A fall from grace For colored girls
@marissachanelle Temptation was fire; Acrimony is also good with Tariji P. Henson. For Colored Girls is a film adaptation of a play. Its dark and gut wrenching so be prepared.

Fun fact: the singer at the jazz restaurant (Chaundra's) is named Chaundra and portrayed the character Shirley in the play version of Madea's Big Happy Family, and in the movie, she sings as part of the church choir
The earliest works I think are still some of the best because they’re the first of their nuance and really capture the culture in a way that is lost to the over saturation of the now

I don’t know why but that’s just a movie I haven’t been able to rewatch since the 90s.
@@opinionladyy It's a heavy movie.
I was just about to type this. plz watch this its a must watch
"Pipe down side salad!" 😅😅😅😅😅😅 I've never heard that before. Hilarious!
😂😂😂
I'm so glad you looked up the wire hanger reference 😂😂😂😂😂
This was mine and my cousins favorite movie to watch together growing up. She passed away a few months ago, I feel like this showed up on my feed at the perfect time to feel close to her again, so I thank you for that. Awesome watch-through, guys 🙏🥹

I never thought I’d ever see anyone react to Diary of a Mad Black Woman, let alone any Tyler Perry film.
Thank u for at least giving it a chance despite what people are saying. Real fans of TP appreciate it.
Kimberly Elise is soooo pretty. So graceful.
"a little light waterboarding" 😆😅🤣
A Number 4 is an old reference. In cheaper eating establishments people would order food by number.
The guy with the cool voice actually did animation voice work. In Static Shock he was the voice of Ebon.
Tyler Perry writes the worse men known to man .
And eventhough we have outgrown his humor these movies his films will never be forgotten because the discourse around much we hate the men in his movies never dies 😭😭😭
"The Family That Preys " is another good T Perry movie to watch.
44:26 Not yall falling in love with Shemar Moore 😂 I totally get it though, he was perfectly written 📝
I know right 😂😂
So perfectly written😂
I have watched this movie 1 billion times and literally I just sat and watched it for almost 2 hours with y’all like it was my first time and laughed the whole time !! yeah should definitely do more. Madea reactions.
Every time the mom comes the church at the end singing down the aisle I lose it. I cry every time. Great review guys. I'm gonna subscribe.
Orlando did a number on yall 😂 I am new to the channel don’t know your names yet but Black Tshirt was blushing. It was so cute to see! Definitely subbing, yall made this like a movie night plus commentary 👏🏽💕
You guys are crushing on Shamar Moore lol
the boys falling in love with Orlando 🤍
Seconds in, and these guys already hate Charles like the rest of every black household.
Hell...we still can't forgive 😂
Kimberly Elise needs to be Cecily Tyson in her biopic
Im shocked by this reaction choice but im definitely here for it 😊
Yes!!!! If we are going down this road I have so many recommendations lol.
Why did I get married
Daddy’s little girls
Acrimony
Temptation: confessions of a marriage counselor
The family that preys
Madea’s big happy family
A fall from grace
For colored girls
@marissachanelle Temptation was fire; Acrimony is also good with Tariji P. Henson. For Colored Girls is a film adaptation of a play. Its dark and gut wrenching so be prepared.
For colored girls seems to be a hard one for people to watch.....that and the color purple
@@flovonnejohnson707 yea. I was trying to give them range
Ooo Family That Preys!!!
@@flovonnejohnson707why did I get married is fireeee
She made that dry azz salad look so good to me all these years, i didn't even realize it was just spinach and tomatoes NO DRESSING 😂😂😂
"Stop making those bubbles." Boom. One of my all-time favourite lines. Thank you guys for this reaction! Just discovered your channel and am enjoying the exploration. Bless up! 💜💜
I died when he said “What does getting even look like?” 😂😂😂😂😂
Watching Jaby fall in love with Shamar Moore was the best part of this video 🤣🤣
When the mom comes in the church singing, I can NEVERRRRRRR not cry my eyes out
I can’t believe I’m sitting here watching yall watch this movie! It’s so fun seeing people react to movies for the first time. I’m glad this movie is reaching a new audience. You guys should watch Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married! I’ll definitely tune in.
23:53 It is. The actor is the voice actor of Ebon from Static Shock. 😸
This probably one of my FAVORITE WATCHES EVER!! Love you guys reaction so much.
This is my favorite Tyler Perry movie. Started on the plays. Been watching since 2005.
underrated comment, plays were better on my opinion. The unscripted moments are what brought the real comedy in the plays.
Great reaction, guys. This was a pleasant surprise. While not all of Tyler Perry's films hit like this one, I'm hoping you'll watch more. You should definitely watch Madea's Family Reunion next.
“This is a conversation we could have had at the cookout”
Now I know you were meaning that literally in the film, but I will 100% be stealing that because that phrase is a whole vibe 😂
I'm so happy you guys reached to this movie, I was so happy to see this when i got off early from work today. Please do more black films like The Five Heartbeats, Life, Harlem Nights, Waiting to Exhale, and so much more. I'm excited to see what's in the future
I NEED to see you guys watch the Why Did I Get Married movies
"thats that GA real estate BAYBEE" lmaooo
This is honestly one of Tyler's best movies so glad u guys showed it some LOVE 💜
Seeing people react to movies I consider childhood classics is wild
Oh lord I love these movies! Being from the South I’ve known a few Madeas in my lifetime 😂
Fun fact: the singer at the jazz restaurant (Chaundra's) is named Chaundra and portrayed the character Shirley in the play version of Madea's Big Happy Family, and in the movie, she sings as part of the church choir
It’s like I’m watching this movie for the first time 😂 your reactions 😂😂😂
I NEED you both to continue on your Madea journey. It only gets crazier. You two have no idea
"Pipe down side salad!" had me weak ROFL
The earliest works I think are still some of the best because they’re the first of their nuance and really capture the culture in a way that is lost to the over saturation of the now
