I absolutely LOVE how Ranger was barking AROUND the stick in his mouth ... and Roger (I believe) barking through Lee's talking about Jager's first day with the pack, both reminded me of Lillie. Being at the Asher House with Lee's wonderful pack is the perfect place for Jager ... his blossoming there shouldn't take long at all. Thank you, Lee and team, for your AMAZING, open hearts 💕

It’s nothing short of miraculous to watch how that dog just met Lee for the first time, and how quickly his tail started wagging at high RPMs, and how he just walked away with him like he was with his dad. Animals know. Jager is beautiful and he looks so happy in the pack.
Some people are just wired that way, my late husband was like that, dogs just melted around him.

Beautiful dog. He already looks completely comfortable in the pack. I love Lee asking him to not go to the bathroom in the house to please go outside on the patio to use it for his night time toilet. Also to not do it in the house even if he sees someone else doing it.😂

What a great rescue! Jager seems to fit right in and surely isn't the biggest in the pack. Loved when Ranger brought a stick to Jager. Poppy was trying to be submissive and block Ranger from giving it to him. 😅 But, what an awesome gesture 😊❤

I cannot imagine taking my rescue back because he’s destructive. Our boy Drakie has destroyed so much stuff in our house but never once did I think of returning him. Family is family and that is what Drakie is. This beautiful boy is a beautiful blessing ❤

Separation anxiety is a tough thing to tackle. My 1st dog had it and he would howl and tear up carpet. Took a long time to get help him with it
@rapidojade3646 our dog harley ate my moms slippers...my moms gym clothes...my dads t-shirt...my slippers...all within the first...few weeks she was with us. Did we think of getting rid of her!? Merlin no!!! Shes laying on the couch with me sleeping at the moment.
Same here, everything can be replaced, but not humans and animals. Things are just things after all.
i think we should all try to be sympathetic. if i noticed that the dog i adopted was extremely unhappy in my home and i didn’t feel i could provide them with the support they needed, i think i would also surrender them in hopes of them moving to a better home for them like lee’s. sometimes it’s a matter of doing what’s best for the dog, and it can be p brave for someone to admit they aren’t it. that being said, it’s awesome you and drakie were a great fit!!

Sadly we lost our 5 yo Saint Dane last Wednesday due to bone cancer. I can't believe how much Jaeger looks so much like our Bo. You're lucky to get to know a pup as precious as a Saint Dane.

I lost my Samoyed & was inconsolable for a very long time. I tried to remember the joy we had, but the pain was overwhelming. They are a gift, and their innocence and beauty will be in our hearts forever. Peace and love...xoxo

@@dawnadriana1764 It took me 5 years to open up to a new big dog after losing my heart dog. I got lucky when I found one on petfinder several years ago. He looks just like Jager :-) .

I had an emotional support dog that went over the Rainbow Bridge 2 years ago and I’m still having a difficult time. I miss her so much.

I love rescue day! There is nothing better than seeing a new dog bond with the pack! I love how Ranger is all up in everyone’s business. Ranger is never far from his daddy! I love how he came in hot when the two dogs were playing! He just has to be all up in everyone’s business, about ran over Poppy. I’m so glad he’s got a place at the Asher House where he won’t ever have to be alone again! Ranger is still cracking me up!
