When you take in too many animals you’re not making their situation better. He needs to stop calling himself a rescue. Rescues take animals from bad situations and finds them homes. He’s looking more and more like a hoarder

It’s not advertised on UA-cam because he doesn’t want people to adopt dogs just because the “saw them on tv.” He has hundreds of acres and many employees who participate in the care of the animals he provides sanctuary for. I understand the types of cases you’re talking about but this is not one of those. ❤️☮️
@@SickGirlRocksyes he has a lot but he has the resources to adequately provide for their needs including medical care. I think what he’s doing is 100 times better than death which is the only other option. He also has plans for each one depending on their needs. What are you doing with your life?

@@SickGirlRocks I am sure he would love to rehome them if there is a loving home to go to! But most of his dogs that he took in are on the euthanized list in the shelter. Or have medical issues that people can’t afford to keep up.

Omg Moo is just precious. My heart broke for the lady who had become attached to Moo at the rescue. I know that gut wrenching feeling too well, but I've never had the pleasure of homing a foster with someone like Lee who I KNEW would give the dog a far better life than i could. Maybe she can come visit Moo once she's settled in. Also, breaks my heart repeatedly being reminded how many purebreds are sitting in shelters while people still pay breeders. Hurts even more to think of what that means for the non purebreds... the seniors... the mama dogs.... it's awful out there, people have created a living hell for dogs.
It is not the people. This administration has caused people to have to turn in animals.
They can't afford to feed them. Elections have consequences.

I thought I would love volunteering at an animal rescue. To witness the amount of people who just drop off their animals without a second thought and seeing the sadness and fright in the animals eyes was too heartbreaking for me. I would go home crying and my disregard for humans was growing everyday. Needless to say I had to leave.
Dearest Lee, not to be funny or nasty, but we all know that when it comes to adopting dogs, you don't know how to count. Have you ever gone for one dog and managed to only come away with just one? I don't think so. But that's why we love you. Keep up the good work.❤

You FINALLY got a PUG!!!!❤❤❤ My 13 year old pug rescue was an abused, starving, flea/tick infested street dog in Bakersfield with a badly infected/injured eye when some good samaritans took her from kids who were tossing her by her arms and legs like she was a ball!! I’m happy to say she has been living in NY like a queen for over 12 years. ❤❤

I know how sad Green Hat was, its so hard to say goodbye to dogs even as a volunteer. She def puts her whole entire heart into making sure these pups live the best lives possible. Oh my gosh ! 7 1/2 years ago I volunteered for them for over a year. That's where I met my little 1 1/2 year old (Scarab then, Yoda now). A darling terrier mix. He was unadoptable due to his big fear issues. However it was love at first sight for me. It wasn't the best time for me to get another dog but after dreaming about him 3 nights in a row I knew he was mine and I think he knew we were meant for each other! Thank you Luvables. I am too old to volunteer now but miss you all and the pups soo much! And for those wanting to adopt check them out. Great people, great organization. ❤❤❤

Senior dogs tend to not get adopted. Maggie was ten years old when I adopted her. And I'm so very happy I did. I Love her so much. She's my best friend ❤️❤️❤️

Whenever i can I support our sanctuaries here in the Uk...including the last 2 years i have been making as many as i can bed jackets for the dogs to keep them warm in the winter....i also pray for them all..i love dogs ect,i have a rescue myself too..God bless x

I am touched by the generous hearts of the Oregon Rescue - - putting the needs for the dogs to get best public exposure - - best care - - to find real homes asap - - letting them go out of their care into another rescue is a sign of a MOST HEALTHY RESCUE ORGANIZATION. It hurts to love and then let go - - I have done a TINY amount of Cat Fostering and my heart still aches a bit when I think about the cats I cared for - loved - and let go to others for adoption. Recently I adopted a rescue dog from a kill shelter. I went to many rescues and was appalled with the amount of homeless animals. So thank you for what you do.
