Just about the best review out there for this pack. Thanks for sharing.

It's good, but there's better ones out there...

Michael, Thanks for taking the time to show the frame in situ. Would you say that water bottle holders on the harness would work on the Shadow light? or would they sway about and become an annoying distraction? Go steady and keep safe out there.

Hip belt pockets should be rated by which size Glocks will fit.

I recently got this bag. I’m working on hiking lighter. One thing I’ve noticed is that there are no loops for strapping a wet tent to the outside of the bag. I suppose I could put it in the two sleeves on the back. Any suggestions?

Hi. Yes this is common. I think manufacturers avoid this as it used to result in a lot of torn tents from scraping brush and such. However, many packs have straps connected to the bottom of them for this purpose already. What pack are you using?
Some packs allow a went tent to be rolled up and tucked under the lid also. Personally, I just shove the went parts into a dry bag and shove it in my pack. 🤣

Will a BV 475 fit in the pack horizontally?

I don't have that model but it would be close. I would lean towards no.

You could probably strap one on top with that Y-strap.

Thanks for the reply, but I’m not doing business with a company that won’t answer a question before a sale. That tells me I’ll get zero customer service after.

Dump the back panel for much more breathable Gossamer one...

I just wanted to throw it out there that you sorta made it sound like the pack is 14.5 oz when it’s really 1lb 14.5 oz. Maybe it’s just me and I misheard you but still.

Sorry about that! That's fair pointing it out.

@@MichaelLargent All good! I hope I didn’t come off condescending at all. I was just thinking the whole time “how the hell did they get a framed pack with loadlifters etc under 15oz?!?”

They make a larger version. This one is definitely tight.
