Yeah same here, was so relevant. I’m still only at G3 but i feel that I could already apply all this to my current challenges specially the don’t hesitate tip.

Thanovic can u make a video about timing. I feel like timing is one of the most challenging things to learn, but it’s way more important than speed. When u challenge, when to put ur car in places and when to know how to rotate. I think it will help a lot of people
Its sort of just a mathimatical thing u gotta calculate the time but a training excersize could be hitting the ball in the air and trying to chip ot

I am more annoyed with a teammate who plays too passively than a tm8 who occasionally messes up aerials

I started watching your vids when i was diamond, you taught me directional air roll, all my mechanics and every bit of boost controll i have and now i am firmly in GC just 14 months into playing the game

the way I would phrase the going for the ball even if it is risky thing, is "You miss every shot you don't take" but it isn't something I ever thought about when playing tbf

As a diamond 3s player... Mistakes are something you can't worry about. After a while I just said screw it, I'm playing comp. like casual. Best decision ever, Eventually moved up to diamond 3 and overall feel like I've improved. Turning off all chat/voice-chat is also important. Being flamed by your teamates does no good when trying to improve. Those people can suck it

REAL QUESTION FOR THANOVIC: I’ve noticed as a high plat, diamond 1 player that when I play slower I make more shots and have consistent mechanics. Do you feel this is true at the lower ranks??
Ty this helped a lot and I used to be plat 1 division 3 but now I'm diamond 3 division lV(5)

I'm actually wondering why that months ago rocket league was slow like when in playing. But now it seems very fast and different. (Also thano ur sens really helped me out this season and last season

I feel like with the stopping being hesitant to go up for it when your in that champ rank u will still play with people who are in diamond I am c2 but play with plays and diamond and with that I know if I miss there gonna go on and on about it so now when I’m playing with people my ranked Its in my head to play it safe and I know that people in gc and ssl do play with people low ranked majority of the time the people they play with still have that decency to know that missing or being too slow to the ball isn’t bad not to mention my mates they are so delusional he’s plat level because and blames his tm8s for mistakes all the time yet is the one making them all so playing with lower ranked people can ruin your confidence I’m trying to fix that but as it’s muscle memory at this point it will take a while

a champ 3 my biggest problem it’s not going for pads and instead of grabbing the back boost and the cheating on kickoff and hesitation for ground and air not saying i’m that high but where i’m at everyone knows how to ariel pretty decently or make decent plays off the ground and 90% of the time i hesitate it leads to getting scored on recently i’ve been trying to knock this off and just go for things and it’s rly been helping my gameplay

Hey Thanovic, if you see this, I'm on the other side of the world and have never been able to watch your streams. I request that on one stream, you start a little later so that I could watch it. If you can do this comment back the day you are doing it.
Any tips on not getting tilted on playing 1's? I'm trying to main 1's since it's the best way to improve but I can't handle myself getting mad on playing that game mode.
Really good timing since I jumped from Plat 3 to diamond 2 in a couple of weeks, people are soo quick
Moving in as 3rd man when the first man misses is awful advice for anything below c3. First man will either not rotate at all, or too slowly.
I’ve always said this when I coach people that Third Man is the most lethal position in the game. It’s the game changer position and the most precarious as well.
i wish more threes players watched this video becuase they always be bumping me in game. Guess its my fault for still being gold

Oh good I thought I was being toxic but the game and being on keyboard and mouse just make me wanna go fast and flip like a loon
To be fair though I didn't even know team liquid had a rocket league team...
*For those who are bad at aerials* use a air dribble training pack where its already set up and continue to make the shot the way its intended over and over and by the time you stop you will be bery good at normal aerials as well, just like me
can anyone help me? I'm trying to play at a faster pace as I feel my gameplay is too slow, but when I do try to speed up, im extremely predictable, tend to miss balls a bunch, and very often caught in a bad position on offense because I was playing fast rather that waiting for things to happen. it's really agitating me bc I want to get better but then trying to improve has made me lose more and more games, any tips??
Keep in mind that every time you wanna improve something, you'll suck. The reason for this is that you're putting yourself in a position, where you're doing things you've probably never done before or cannot currently do.

So many people talk about speed, but this video was awesome
2 weeks in playing once a day for 2 hours it works
a good tip for aerials that's worked for me is, once you are up in the air, try focusing on moving perpendicular to the ball so you hit it (almost) every time

holding down your boost tip actually helps alot
