  • Tips From PRO Players To Become A Better 1's Player In Rocket League. This is my biggest rocket league guide to date. 4 of the best 1v1 players in the world took their time to offer advice and tips for how to get better at 1v1s. The 1v1 tips and advice in this video are coming from some of the best rocket league 1v1 players in the game, and so for me, this rocket league 1v1 video is one of my favourite videos I have done so far. They give advice on how to player rocket league like a pro player, how to get better at 1v1 rocket league and how to improve in rocket league in general. The gameplay is obviously showing how much better they are than me, and very clearly shows how pro rocket league player and top 100 players are so much better at the game.
    Today's guests are King Ranny, Kinseh, Majicbear and Joreuz.
    Their social media are listed below. I seriously hope you enjoy today's video, I hope you take in all of their 1v1 tips and advice and learn from them how I did. Their 1v1 tips and knowledge are pretty insane and it would be a mistake to not go into this video without a pen! This rocket league guide is long, but it is full of rocket league tips, 1v1 rocket league tips and insane advice from pro rocket league 1v1 players. Today our Tips From PRO Players To Become A Better 1's Player In Rocket League will help you to improve in rocket league altogether, but also send you the right way when you are looking to get better at 1v1 rocket league.

      Honestly unsure man, maybe he just needs to grind 1s more and really dedicate to it as a gamemode. It might be because he knows the way you play and counters it instead of playing against new opponents each game

    • @joaorafaeloliveira1781
      @joaorafaeloliveira1781 4 роки тому +3

      @Euler's Identity 1s is a very honest game mode, if he is stuck in D1, he is playing at D1 level. Since he seems to be way better mechanically and in game sense than his opponents, I think he is just tilting. maybe he loses his calm when he get scored by a slower player or get really nervous when hit Div. IV and can't perform properly. In a friendly environment he is relaxed and can perform at his best. The best way to verify it is to watch a demo of him playing a game against you and after that watch the demo of a ranked game that he losed.

      @Euler's Identity maybe its his mindset. If I was playing someone I know then I would play differently. Also, what is you and your c2/d3 friend's 2s and 3s ranks? Because if your plat3 friend is a higher rank in those gamemodes, he may feel that he should win, so he does. It's all about the mindset for me, but that's just a theory

    -Whats the thing that helped you most?
    Demo's and bounce dribbles.
    -What 3 things do you think people should focus on?
    Try to keep possession as much as possible (rolling it back etc.), Fake/early challenges, Dont go for too risky plays.
    -What drills or training did you use to improve?
    Just hop in ranked and focus on a specific mechanic.

    Not a pro, but a gc in 1's
    I think the biggest and most common mistake I see in my opponents is playing more aggressively when they start losing
    It works in 2's, it works in 3's, but in 1's it works the opposite way
    It's very easy to read them, and usually it all goes downhill for my opponent from there

    Watched all the way to the end! I’ve put more hours into RL than most of my friends who are C1/C2 while I range from D1-D3. They’re all a lot more aggressive than me, better at dribbling/flicking, more accurate at shooting, and better at reading plays. My main strength is defending because most of my matches my friends or random teammates are often breaking rotation and any time I finally decide to push up, they do too and we get scored on. I NEVER play 1’s, so I’m really hoping it helps me all around as a player. I also need to do more training packs/extra modes maps. I had significant improvements to my game when I would practice for an hour or two every day, but most of the time as soon as I get on, my friends invite me right away and we jump straight into matchmaking. Also, their casual MMR or however that works is way higher than mine, so I usually get annihilated when I join lobbies with them, but at least after those matches I’m quite a bit better than most people my rank. This game has so much to learn and so many ways to improve!

    • @elianjoensen2756
      @elianjoensen2756 3 роки тому

      you probably have a major flaw in your game sense where you are very passive and don’t rotate at all, so when you do decide to push up your teammate doesn’t expect it. but this is just a guess. my point is that we usually don’t see our own mistakes.

    If you ever do something like this in the future, I recommend checking out how others in the scene do their interviews. I'm not sure if playing the game while trying to interview the pros was a good choice as you seem a bit distracted. For reference, there is a guy who does interviews with pros across multiple games and he's been doing it for nearly 15 years now. ua-cam.com/video/0K99zs9ufcY/v-deo.html. This is an example of one of the interviews. I'm sure you could learn alot by how he sets the questions up.

    I guess since you would be up faster you could take more time to "align" your car with the ball/shot and reduce your chances to miss.
    Do More on ground,

    Dude, this was awesome. I’ve found your channel has the most helpful guides, and this one is no different. This was all super helpful and interesting. Your youtube is easily the most helpful, knowledge packed rocket league channel since sunless stopped doing the “why you suck” series.

    cool, video i´m like 1600 peak MMR in 3s but can´t really go over c2 in 1s so this is probably the best video for me to lern what i could do to improve :)

    Oh gosh, I tried maining 1s for 2 weeks +. I had no more fun playing any mode for weeks afterwards, my unranked mmr (i use mainly 3s) dropped by 200, my 2s rank went down by 7 divisions and my 1s rank went up by 1 division.
    Totally not worth it.

      Did you watch replays? Try to watch the instant replay and see exactly how he scored on you and how you could of defended it. It sounds to me that you were trying to rank up, only way to rank up is getting better. Watch those replays man! Good luck

    awesome vid! really helpful and good questions.. I also really enjoy the length of the video! one tip for the future: sometimes just keep the question like it is and stop explaining in which way u mean the question...most of the times its worse when u have a perfect open question like "how important are kickoffs in 1s?" and the interviewee is about to answer but u interrupt him because u wanna clarify how the question is meant and you make a "closed question" out of it if this makes any sense...i think mostly its not necessary to explain the question in details but please keep on the good work :) (i am not native speaker, hopefully you understand what i mean)

    By far the most useful video I've watched for RL in a long time! From start to end btw
    If you do read all the comments would you ask pro players their honest opinion regarding toxicity in the game - specifically if they use or condone using it.
    Awesome to hear the mentality of these guys! I dipped into a slump due to that virgin media hourly outage and dropped ranks. So yeah, brilliant video, perfect timing 👌

    • @Thanovic
      @Thanovic  4 роки тому +1

      I'm sure pro players don't condone toxicity, but I know that some higher level players can be toxic at times, that being said, toxicity is not needed and should be avoided at all times

    • @snobbs1676
      @snobbs1676 4 роки тому

      @@Thanovic Totally agree! Unfortunately to avoid it means turning off game text chat. Like yourself I solo queue and game chat helps me out when it isn't filled with toxic comments.
      Asked a few players online if they feel it gives them a competitive edge or something... you can guess the replies I get 😂
      Find it quite disturbing some would rather spoil others fun and the algorithms for catching certain words is a complete joke!
      "No need to be rude lol" and
      "I can't hit a shot straight" get asterisked out BUT it's fine to say "you are crap at this game" 🤔 it's why they don't fix game chat - makes it a child friendly game apparently 😂😂😂
      Thanks for the reply, sub'd. No need to reply again if you read this one man - you gave the answer I wanted to hear, appreciated 👍

    I would doubt about boost management is good improvement in general because in 1v1 boosts are all yours and your 1 opponents, then when you come to 3v3 and start blindly replicating 1v1 style you are starting to booststarve teammates which is bad. You have to take into account that 3v3/2v2 boost mngmt is different in ones
