Nice video! I’m a player that just learned air roll consistently a couple months ago and this definitely would have helped compared to a lot of the videos I watch. One thing I did that I felt helped me learn the most is I went to the biggest map in the list. It’s twice the size of the regular maps so you have more room and time and did laps around in both directions. Mix that with using the slow mo feature and it felt really easy grasp the movements and try to make them muscle memory. Once you had it down with slow mo would just do it at regular speed and I saw big improvements. Let me know what you think but I hope this helps someone as well 👍
I’m not joking, I’ve been hiding under a rock watching other airoll videos whilst I just clicked on this video you came straight to the point and i have unlocked the ability of airolling which makes my shots look cooler and help my car control! I’m gonna suggest this tutorial to everyone
By far the best explanation of air roll I've seen. After watching many vids and not being able to get it, I arrived at this understanding myself - that essentially you use the same input you would for any normal flight.. it's just about timing it around which way your car is facing. Obviously there is more to it that that, when you factor in the timing of boost and trajectory when you exit a spin, but at its core, the way you explained it is the way I now understand it.
Dude. This is seriously the most beneficial video I’ve ever seen when it comes to air roll. Most pros just say, “you have to get a feel for the joystick movements and it takes practice.” But this is just as the title says.. How to ACTUALLY get better at air roll. Thank you so much. I just recently switched from only manual air roll to completely directional air roll left and right and I’ve been struggling big time. This helps so much. Thanks!!!
Nice job with the video, its rlly great to be coached by someone some rank above you, bc of that u can actually know some mistakes u might be doing and also and how they act in that rank so u can improve that way
For a topic that is complex for some. You did a good job pointing people in the right direction when it comes to car control in the air. And kept in mind console players. Nice!
surprisingly it only got about a 6% click through rate, although for the first 16 hours or so it was over 12% I appreciate the compliment since I put it together in a rush about an two hours before posting. The previous thumbnail just didn't quite seem right so I remade it!
I'm considering doing Zen's setup of RB LB air roll. But... eswap pro doesn't have the xbox elite setup of back pedals their own button. I wish I had back pedal separate buttons from the others, with hall effect joysticks and clicky switch buttons.I guess I can sacrifice D pads left and right quick chats, but I like to spam them! Also your mic is a bit echoey? Or perhaps try mono channel recording?
If you work on adjusting while your wheels or hood are facing you then eventually you CAN work on adding in extra control, however it’s an unnecessary first step! Good luck
More helpful stuff by Snafu! I will give it a try, still working on your other videos and about to learn air rolls myself. My ranking took a dive but that is because I am working on so many new things which im learning from you. Do you recommend not playing in ranked - while I improve things ?
When I make the best progress is when I only focus on training and improvement. However, don’t lose that readiness to play ranked. Maybe by hopping in casual for a few games a day!
@@Snafsy Will do. Decided to try some 1v1 since I have not played many games there. Im learning so fast, its hard to incorporate all this into game play. This will come!
Air rolling the straight line u don't even need to use adjustments u can just hold air roll and boost lol no need to turn if ur flying straight 😋 but yeah flying diagonally that is much harder
@Snafu just subbed. Loving your content simple and direct. Im new and not quite ready for any air roll. Started late s8 and just hit plat 3 in twos with zero practice. It's about time to grind some packs and free play lol
@Snafu yeah man truly a student. Gotta improve ground game as good as possible some mechs are easy to learn and impossible to do in game for fear of whiffing it lol

I’ve pinned this! Great input, I definitely should’ve mentioned slow mo (although it’s not a step I used, I really like the idea)
@@Snafsy it kinda didn't exist when you learned 🤣
now slow mo is available on console so it's not just PC only!! (for training packs and freeplay)
@@mistadude true!! Then yeah this certainly would’ve been a great tip to include. Might even make a video showing how to air roll in slow mo
@@Snafsy it would make for a great youtube short video.

The best explanation is Losfelds air roll analysis
Best explanation I’ve seen, finally I actually understand what I need to work on and how
That’s amazing to hear
Tips for unlearning airroll, I'm a champ 2-3 and I catch myself airolling over the dumbest things
I feel your pain, I’ll make a follow up vid to this one within the next few days

I really like that you're saying the words out loud instead of just saying "say it out loud" like others do."
I appreciate that, its a little awkward to say them knowing that thousands of people are watching haha. Glad it helps
Honestly not even joking this is the best air roll vid I have seen, and I have watched hundreds.
Thank you so much
Most helpful video on air roll I’ve seen I’ve improved immensely after just a couple hours in training
Super glad it helped!
Yo thanks for the tutorial man! I have already gotten way better with my mechanics. Keep up the great work!
Glad I could help!
thanks you for the map, i wanted to start getting into air roll & was looking for some map like this.

This was really helpful man!, Your content keeps on getting better and better :D
I appreciate it man!
thanks for actually explaining it in a clear way that many other videos don’t do
Amazing video. As a C3 that learned how to air roll last year, this still helped a lot to strengthen the fundamentals. Thank you !
Anytime!!

Thank you!!
Bro! Best tutorial I’ve seen on UA-cam. THANK YOU. Subscribed!
I have been watching videos of air roll from about a week but this video had the best explaination so far
Thanks dude this helped me a lot
Bro thank you so much I been trying to air roll for the past 50 minutes finding video after video not working but yours actually helped Ty.
Dude this helped me learn so much thank you❤❤ you earned a sub and like
So good video man. It was so nice that you showed how to learn on controller. Helps so much.
👑 you dropped this
You're too kind!!

no u dont

It’s been a year since this vid dropped I’ve watched this over and over I’m still trying to get it but you’ve helped me so much ❤ thanks man😊
Hmmm when you say forward sometimes you do a little swirl with the stick. Why?

You should definitely experiment! find the controls that feel best. And yeah my mic wasnt too good in this video, but its better now!
Why do we have to move the left joystick and does it matter in which direction we move the left joystick?
Because left joystick controls the car and right one is for camera!
@@Snafsy and does it matter in which direction we move the joystick ? Or do they all do the same ?
show your video settings pls!!
Hi! I just made a short video on this that I think you'd enjoy: ua-cam.com/video/XpEVQcEVhtg/v-deo.html
A hint for ballcam: use L3 (click on left analog stick), it's much better.
Good point!
You said the final step is to adjust when your wheels are toward you and away from you, but should you also be adjusting while sideways?
If you work on adjusting while your wheels or hood are facing you then eventually you CAN work on adding in extra control, however it’s an unnecessary first step! Good luck

I can't leave the arena because of the roof. Should I make any adjustments?
Are you trying this in the outside of the map pack?
@@Snafsy yeah but i think the problem is about bakkes mod so when i changed training settings, it is fixed 👍

Hi I use air roll right but I want to switch to air roll left should I do it?
Air rolling the straight line u don't even need to use adjustments u can just hold air roll and boost lol no need to turn if ur flying straight 😋 but yeah flying diagonally that is much harder
Well the point is to improve not get to the goal 😅 so it’s up to you to push yourself and try maintaining that straight line while air rolling
Out of map code doesn't appear to work anymore, do you have a new one ?

Here you go! This is for DFH stadium
Now just fly out of the arena ME: WTF 😂
