I love me some Bonanza. I've been watching it for about 6 months. I didn't watch it when it FIRST came on because I was younger & didn't like it, but NOW I LOVE it!! RIP Bonanza!!!
@Catherine - Yep, the antics between Hoss & Little Joe are hard to beat! If you want to see one of the funniest episodes ever, do a search for "Caution: Easter Bunny Crossing", S11 Ep25. About as hilarious a one as you can find! There used to be more than one posting of it, but the only one I see now isn't the best quality, pretty low resolution.
The interactions between Hoss & Little Joe are so hilarious, and yes, Little Joe's laugh and reactions just cause you to bust up yourself! It's absolutely amazing anyone can possibly give it a thumbs down - they must have HUGE hemorrhoids & never laugh!
I loved the scenes with Hoss and little Joe. The actors played off of each other, so well. The episode where Hoss entered a pancake eating contest, is one of my favorites. Joe didn't let Hoss eat anything until the contest. He attached bells to the end of the stairs and slept there, in case Hoss came down looking for food. Of course Hoss did attempt to come downstairs and got caught up in the bells and fell down the stairs. I love that episode.
Those two made the show. They were hilarious, together. One of the funniest episode was when Hoss had to starve himself, in order to try to win a flapjack eating contest. Little Joe was he coach and he watched him like a hawk, he even put bells at the end of the stairs and slept at the bottom, in case Hoss tried to come downstairs for some food. It's one of my favorite episodes.
Good LORD, HOSS, You know NOTHING about flying a KITE!! First. of all, you need space, (NOT IN FRONT OF A HOUSE), secondly, it has to be the right season (in which to FLY a kite), and so many OTHER things you need to know about flying a kite, but it was HELL OF FUNNY!! RIP D. Blocker, RIP L. Greene, RIP Michael Landon, & RIP P. Roberts. I LOVED (and STILL watch those re-runs)
This is awesome. Never watched a Bonanza before. I grew up watching Little House. I definitely can see a correlation between Bonanza and Little House. Very cool!
I like them all but Adam was my favorite Pernell was definitely the professional. I could understand at times what Pernell was speaking of. At times little Joe and Hoss was to silly, other times it was just right. Pernell was a more serious actor and so tall dark and handsome. He did have a funny side in, " A knight to remember ". I stop watching when he left being l always watched because of Adam.
Yup, same here. I like and respect all 4 because they have very special chemistry with each other at least in Bonanza, but Adam/Pernell is my love, so without him, the show doesn’t fulfill, and I feel like missing something,
Rest in peace Dan Blocker. You are definitely missed. I enjoy watching Bonanza. I love little Joe's laugh.
W którym pokoju ??🤣
I enjoyed watching Adam tease his siblings 😂
De ik heel op het moet wel zeggen dat het een je. Zo goed mogelijk dat de liefde. Heeft deze. Nu is
Me too.smile. 😃.
I'm laughing so hard at this! Especially when Joe says, My brother, the 300 pound Robin.
Love Bonanza could watch it all day!!!

Michael Landon died too young back then, as well as the others. RIP to all of them.
Love how the wise old Ben stood up for Hoss!
Always!

One of the greatest TV shows ever created.
That cow mooing was put in that scene so perfectly! Just added to the comedy of the moment!
They could be like rotten little boys. Loved it!
And I thought it was going to be the episode about Hoss and the leprechauns...that was a funny one...
I laughed soo hard on that one.

OMG those sparkling beautiful green eyes widely open while listening Hoss!! My Little Joe the only one forever!!!
I like the part where joe starts laughing and teasing hoss till he takes a cooking bath✌🏻👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Sorry I mean cooling

That kite needed to be bowed . Flat kites don't fly.
Catherine Gabriel, I yet watch them, too! Loved them all but my favorite was Eric (Hoss); never understood why they ALWAYS introduced him as Hoss
I love Micheal Landon sooooo much!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 5:25
6:14
Hoss "Now, you're gonna say it?"
Joe: "Twrrreeeet twwwrreeeet... twrrrp twrrrp... OH, OH! (Splash)
Hoss: "You're gonna say it"
Joe: "COO COO!" --------------------- LMAO!!!!!
Hoss was my favorite! Especially when he got caught in some comical trouble, or mischief!
This is awesome. Never watched a Bonanza before. I grew up watching Little House. I definitely can see a correlation between Bonanza and Little House. Very cool!
Little Joe and Adam are my favourite characters on Bananza.
Lol that was solo funny brings back good memories. Just loved watching that again xx
I always loved the one about the leprechauns
They're so cute when they're teasing each other 😆
Cette serie devrait etre reprogrammer a la tv c est vraiment un bon moment surtout avec mon pernell❤❤❤❤❤
I love this show.
It never occurred to me while I was younger how silly it is that Ben has to keep his obviously 30-something year old sons on task.
That's something Pernell Roberts said he didn't like about the show when he left it
Joel Stucki
Even so, it’s portrayed as a loving & enduring family. Single Father at that.
Very Awesome Writers. Actors ♥️ Love Bonanza 👏
If you act like a kid you will be treated like one which happens often on the Ponderosa... to our glee of course!...lol
More like 20s
Nowadays there are 40 years old living with their parents in this pathetic era of useless grades
Adam was so intelligent. When he left it should have been him getting married moving to another state. Love him still. Missing him deeply.
LOL, Hoss said (something to the effect of) 'I'll get you', I'll get you, but it sounded like he said "I'll GIT YOU"
I thought Hoss said I'll teach you.
Que lindo esté capitulo Adam te amo ❤❤❤❤
... Oooohhhh these brothers ... 😂
I can't stop watching this its so funny
I'm not sure which is funnier. Little Joe laughing at Hoss or Hoss's facial expression!😂
Lmao Michael Landons laugh
Hi 🙋♀️ this is a very nice 👍🏻
Ok but who else is wondering what Adam is thinking when watching this.
Well he's dead so he's not thinking much.
He was probably thinking about how he could get off the show.
Hermosos los hermanos creo q se llevaban tan bien q realmente fuera de la serie eran amigos 😀
Love Adam's look when Ben's talking about faith. He knows a trap when he smells one.
Bravo bonanza
Joe me contagia su risa 😂😂😂😂😂😂 y El papa haciendo corajes con los niños Cartwright's traviesos 🤣, I love it, I love it my four men's!!!!!!!
Ben just come in had to go right back out for some more fresh air and solitude. Al Bundy moment
I don't know if Pernell Roberts adopts his walk for the part of Adam, but he has a very short stride. Interesting.
"If I tell you a secret, Joe, would you promise not to laugh at me?" Dag burn it, Hoss, how long have you known him?
Adoro esta serie
Eu também 👍🏼😍
Que capítulo es esta escena
Essa risada do little Joe e o máximo ele merece o Oscar muito mais bejules
Também adoro a risada do Joe, ele é sensacional.
5:37 no wonder his relationships never last
All 4 are long gone 😭
Another great episode is the Matador one, where Hoss trains Joe to fight a bull. All three brothers were great in that one.
Awesome scenes and music! Thanks for this tribute to my favorite character! It fits him so well
F******g Joe!!! Perfect lil brother
"Go fly a kite" an expression my mom used to use meaning 'get lost go away, etc.
Dadgummit!
Realmente unos actores de primera
They were such a good family. Wish my family was like the cartrights
300 lb Robin 😅🤣😆😂🤭
Well, some of these episodes are more than 60 years old now.
Que Loquillo little joe
Imagina o hoss voando se pelo menos fosse little Joe
Yes that was so funny I was laughing my head off
Alguém pode me mandar o nome desse episódio? ficarei muito agradecida 😃👏
Ponderosa Birdman season six
Like to see Adam on here he’s all a part of the show

Well the show went on to be high in the ratings, I think no 1 for the next 3 yrs, so I guess it wasn’t many that thought he made the show!
Poor hoss lol ... Joe and Adam would not stop laughing at u
Amei esse episódio.
Faltou a lejenda em portuguez
Dad burn it!
What episode is that?? I've never seen this (yet)
Season 6 Episode 20 "The Ponderosa Birdman"
Michael Landon was a great actor, but he laughed like a hyena. Hoss is my wife's favorite man between the brothers. Great Show!
Does anyone know why Adam (Pernell Roberts) was missing from a lot of episodes prior to him officially leaving after the 6 season?
Hoss
Landon's pre chain-smoking voice
hahahahaha love it!
Joss es gracioso jaja
they are so funny'
What the heck kind of word is Dad gummet, or something (One of those words, Hoss used.)
It's a polite way of not using bad language or the Lord's name in vain I think.
I use 'Dad-Burn-It' ALL the time!!... and you can guess where I got it from...
Ben: “ now , children “
More like Maria Von Trapp
my brother
Helps to have mountain moving equipment whatever that is.
It takes an awful lot of equipment to move a mountain of dirt. If mountain is solid rock even harder.
Is this the daughter of Pernell Roberts channel?
Czemu nie ma tego odcinka w polskim tłumaczeniu?? Polacy nie gęsi
So funny 😂
hahaha.
En ingles no entiendo
Ahahahahahahahahaha.
lol quit pickin on my Hoss ...😠
Joe listened pank hoss
Anyone else cringe when Michael Landon hit the edge of the trough the second time he goes in? That had to hurt.
Hoss I mean
They we're always dissing haus
😂
Why is it Hoss got picked on more than Joe and Adam put together 😒
