lol, wow I came back to this looking for episodes that I haven't seen, and I didn't know what episode it was so decided to check the comments and I see a comment from myself with your answer!!
Omg this was absolutely hilarious. I could just see some of these thoughts running through his head. However I am not quite sure that I agree that liitle Joe was ben's favorite son. He loved them all equally and knew how different they were. Adam was like a second father and Ben often times depended on Adam more than his others 2 sons to run the ranch. But I really liked this spoof.
In a way you think Adam would be his favourite as for 6 years it was just the two of them before Hoss and Joe came along but I did feel like even those he loved all his sons he was closer to Adam and Joe more then Hoss of course Hoss is the middle child and they are the ones left out a lot.
In my day Bonanza and The Big Valley were the top shows, I never missed Gunsmoke or the Rifeman either, .All great stuff. Nothing like it on tv these days. I had it made growing up.
I though I was the one that get the idea that Joe is the favourite of Ben, Joe mess up, Hoss and Adam help him and everyone get grounded ¬¬.. and even if Adam and Hoss don´t get involved they got grounded too... But Joe can do everything he wants, not for all he is the "little" and favourite son.
This was one of the most funniest videos I have ever seen and I kept laughing till I cried! It would be interesting to make a couple more spoofs, one of LJ and one of Hoss...and also of Pa.
This is the episode with Cameron Mitchell as a one armed person, when in a fight his jacket swung too far and you can see the arm bent behind him, guess the editing person missed that one

I didn't see anything funny about it and I've watched the whole episode. The Cartwright's didn't use the kinda of language that was in this. It made them look bad.

@@Ettibridget Oh, I didn't know that, but I'm pleased to hear it. If you don't know people personally you only ever learn stuff from the media and half the time it's not true. I'd heard Roberts thought himself too good for the show and this didn't endear him to the other cast and crew. I saw Landon on a talk show in the early 70s saying he "hadn't noticed" when Roberts left. But if they made up later that's good. Personally, I always thought Roberts was one of the weaker actors on the show; he often came across as rather wooden. Landon was much more instinctive and natural in his acting skills.

Dortort reconoce que Pernell era un buen actor, pero que su ego era exagerado. Nunca estaba conforme con nada ni con nadie. Creó muchos problemas durante las filmaciones. Es una verdadera pena, porque su personaje de Adam fue el que lo lanzó a la fama y por el que siempre lo recordaremos. Su Trapper no fue ni con mucho, tan popular y querido. Pero él no lo entendió así. Se creía superior y como el mismo Dortort dijo, era muy buen actor pero tenía "su problema" se refería al ego de Pernell. En todos los episodios hay partes en que un personaje determinado no tiene una parte importante. Sucedía con todos sin excepción. Hasta con MICHAEL LANDON ( LITTLE JOE) que todos sabemos era el alma de la serie y el niño consentido de todos. Hubo episodios en los que apenas tenía una línea y a veces, ninguna. Honestly I'm not exactly seeing where this is so funny like everyone else thinks it is . Have to agree with Ben brother against brother isn't funny especially when you've witnessed it up close ! But I will say Adam shouldn't have pushed little Joe like he did it was kinda childish however Joe shouldn't have punched Adam either. But have to admit it that was QUITE A PUNCH from little brother to big brother. GO LITTLE JOE !
