This turned into an incredible haul for you! You may have gone higher than you wanted to on the original locker, but man has it paid off in the long run! I really think your kindness, and willingness to haul off his garbage for him, your willingness to just drop what you’re doing and go over when he calls, and all the other kindnesses you’ve shown this family throughout the original purchase, plus this one has resulted in his kindness back to you. And honestly, I think he sees your pure childlike enjoyment of his collection - not just for the resale value - but for the intrinsic value of the items themselves - spoke to the seller on a level that told him that you would appreciate and take care of his collection. You wouldn’t just flip it to get rid of it. I hope he watches these videos to see your true joy and appreciation of the items he has entrusted to you!
Wow that comic box is AMAZING!! You are certainly being Blessed by this buyout!! I'm so happy for you!! I can't wait to see what else is in that box...heck, in all the rest too! lol It's just !! I hope you all had a great time at Grace's Spring Concert, which I'm sure you did!! Blessings to you and the whole family! 🙏❤
Just to share one of my rules when reselling games that are sealed if the graded value is over 1k take a chance and get it graded. My best example is a pokemon yellow sealed I found at a flea market bought it for 10 bucks paid to have it graded sold it for 2950. Just a tip for everyone. If it graded value is below 500 i usually don't have it graded. Also you have to take in account for your initial investment to help your ROI!
Dr Who TARDIS is a time-space travel machine that was meant to blend in with it's surroundings. But in very first episode it departed London disguised as a 1950s police telephone box for the planet Skara, where Dr Who encounted the Darleks (those nobbly 'robot' figures you found). But the TARDIS malfunctioned and has been unable to camouflage since. Back in the 1950s, when the BBC did all its own production financed by a TV licence fee, this scenario was a simple economy measure l guess. But this image of the TARDIS has become iconic!
That silver star with the arrow and lines-- that a MSKCC symbol A cancer hospital. Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Just letting you know. I love watching your videos. Keep up the great work!
6:00 Those old Cinefex albums can be worth something. They have a lot of info on special effects that can be hard to track down anywhere else. For a certain section of movie geeks, they're gold.
Fantastic stuff Jack. Just like watching you get so excited. Lots of work to look up comps and put on Ebay, but we'll worth it. Can't wait for the next video about the comics.
😁👋👍👍👏👏💕🙏🏻 Wow Jack, what fantastic finds. So happy for you. When you are doing what you enjoy it doesn't feel like work. These fantastic finds are so enjoyable to watch. Both to see the items. And to see and hear your reaction to them. Thank you for sharing. God bless you and your's .
small remark about Ebay: if the new active listings are pushed up on searches, what about to copy photos and descriptions and republish old listings, too, some in the morning, some in the evening.
The only default with Media Mail, in my experience, is that you have to take the stuff to the post office and stand in line for them to process, you can't do it online or at the kiosks. IDK if that changes when you're shipping more items, I'm still small potatoes with eBay but while it does save a TON of money in shipping there is that drawback...
@@domado2011 I got a set of hardback books that I sold on ebay. They were heavy it was going to cost well over $100 to ship UPS and I got it for like $27 using media mail. This was some time ago so pricing is probably different now but it was well worth it.
I know we all have our favorite collections to spend our money on, but I still find it hard to imagine the money some folks have to buy the treasures you were pulling out.
Blowers - a collectors nightmare. People blowing all the dust, toxins and pollen, from their driveways, sidewalks and patios, into the air and onto everything all around them.
There was an Ebay reseller in UK who picked up a never released game (internal only cartridge) for one of the old systems, can't remember now which system, it was a few years ago. He got about £6k for it (roughly $7,000). There is some big money in some of the old systems games to collectors, especially in mint, unopened condition.
Me too. If I watched when the Darleks where on I would be up and down all night terrified the Darleks were floating up the stairs to get me. It got so bad my parents would turn the t.v off so that got peace at night. Lol
I would like to see a breakdown of your costs and profit on this one. I know that you are probably too busy, but Jebus has done it and it was really interesting. Just do you, though!
I've never been lucky to come across a Amazing Spider-Man #129 , i have all the books around it number wise but never got lucky, that Captain America is 1st Nomad appearance, not huge money in that condition but it is a key.
Keep the Legend Gamer Pro,you deserve it,how often will you come across another one like that, you have enough items to take its place in sales. Do yourself a favour !

Just letting you know. I love watching your videos. Keep up the great work!
I also saw the second appearance of Punisher as you were flipping through. All those early bronze ASMs are very desirable…even the non-keys.
Jack, your videos can never be too long. Your videos are great info and you have a great personality. God bless you and your family.

Trixie Belden books were a favorite of my childhood, and i turn 60 this year.
I adore Trixie Beldon!
Me too!
I want to see it all. Great collection.
I really liked that box of comic books! They seem to be in good condition for not being bagged and boarded.
You have the best lockers and estate sale purchases by far. You also do quite well because you’re a go getter.
Time Splitters is an awesome game. I had it on Gamecube.
I hope he is watching your video to see how much you appreciate the things he collected… im sure it wld make him smile at your excitement…

I don't know if you know this but USPS has special shipping prices for books and media. Its way cheaper than normal shipping. Its called Media Mail.

Blowers - a collectors nightmare. People blowing all the dust, toxins and pollen, from their driveways, sidewalks and patios, into the air and onto everything all around them.
Nice work on the video, Jack!
If you are getting comics graded through CGC, I would recommend paying a little extra for a pre-check. The grades are all over the place.
I read all the Trixie Beldon books. They were mystery stories from late 70's/early 80's.
Amazing finds. You deserve it!! Greetings from 🇪🇸

The Dr Who toys are called Daleks, they used to scare me to bits as a kid
Me too. If I watched when the Darleks where on I would be up and down all night terrified the Darleks were floating up the stairs to get me. It got so bad my parents would turn the t.v off so that got peace at night. Lol

The newspaper stand was from Spider-Man, not Superman
1 bid auctions also means a offer was sent and accepted
I'm manifesting an entire Terry Pratchett collection in one of your units so I can buy it from you.
Daleks
I think Maus is worth a lot.
You showed the books when you found them in the storage unit.
