Live storage auction day, and minutes after buying this unit, we're digging into it to see what treasures we find. I haven't bought a woman's locker in awhile (I've mostly been buying men's lockers) so I'm hoping to find some handbags and designer clothing. I hope the prior owner isn't watching because some of the things that turn up are embarrassing.

Thanks Rick! I appreciate it buddy. I really do enjoy the lockers, even junky ones with little value. It's still an adventure. Although I have to admit, on some I'm glad when it's over, and others I'm sad when it's over.

Really enjoyed the video! The firefighting items would probably be really appreciated by a local fire department. Some of the shoes were really nice, and the hard-sided suitcase wasn’t bad at all- we paid around$150 for a large and a medium sized pieces back in 2018, and that was on sale. Looking forward to your next adventure!

Jack as long as I’ve been watching clean outs, I’ll never understand the paperwork/old mail! Why pay money to store stuff that should be thrown out. I’m convinced kids in high school need a mandatory course on throwing out and filing paperwork.
The ginger chew was not moldy, it was powder they put on it so it doesn't stick to the wrapper. It always looks like that, they are really good.
That SHUN knife is worth about $150. I have always wanted one of them!!

Yes! Shun knives are the best! My daughter gifted me a set of 4 steak knives, they were about 500 bucks. I couldn't believe she did that, but I LOVE them. Even purchased a Chef's choice knife sharpener that has Eastern as well as Western angles. If you keep the knife, and I would suggest that, research sharpening them. Heirloom quality.
With all the saleable items and that keyboard you'll get your money back plus some decent profit .

I would like to suggest you put a cable lock or pistol lock through the garage door track while you are inside the locker. People can quickly shut your door and lock you in, taking everything that is already loaded or in the hallway. It has happened in less secure facilities. It is the world we live in now.

My daughter sold off a heap of used makeup from when she was a makeup artist and I was amazed how much stuff sold for …I was expecting a dollar or two per item but some items sold for $10 , $15 and more even though used….some items got about half retail price even though 1/4 used…..she just cleaned up the tubes/ compacts and sprayed the eyeshadow/ powders etc with rubbing alcohol to make it more sanitary and more appealing.
The painted, leather-look jacket, is a big thing in the Harajuku district of Tokyo. There is a business street that is opened up to 50's style sock hop dancing, every other weekend. Think poodle skirts and leather vreasers, everywhere!

Always check if the Mastercards and Visa cards are the gift ones not attached to a persons bank account, they often have money on them just like normal gift cards do !

I don't think it was a bad locker. Clean stuff that was interesting. At least it wasn't more trains, lol. I too would love to know the "back story" for the person who lost it. They might have been a firefighter on a job sight or manufacturing place instead of for a city or county. But to tell you the truth I got "dancer" vibes from the hair pieces, big heels and dress up pieces. All the paperwork and bills always makes me kind of sad. So many people going through hard times. I just saw a pair of fire fighter boots like those that sold for $89 used.
Going by the size of her shoes and clothes she was small. Here's what I think. She either was training to be or had become a fire fighter. She was really small and got hurt. She down sized and stored some of her possessions. She never recovered enough to go back to fighting fires and has now lost some of her stuff. Since the locker was pretty sparse she probably removed the best stuff and let the rest go.

I used to work for an auctioneer who would have one of his friends or a couple of his friends work the locals bring the prices up. It’s called being shield. If they know you, they will try not to over she’ll you she’ll I don’t know if I’m spelling it right but look it up you’ll know what I mean I’m not saying that’s what’s happening but I’d be suspicious.

Ask yourself -- Wouldn't you?? (especially if something of value were in plain sight)
Then ask yourself -- what percentage of storage locker owners/employees are 100% trustworthy?
