I think because this guy had a thief mentality that he purposely miss labelled the box to throw other thieves off. Just a thought. I’m really loving this locker and seeing you so excited again. Wonderful
Hello from Chiang Mai! What a locker! I'm not a fan or even a regular of cards or comics because we don't have that in France, but the pleasure you take in finding these rarities, beyond the significant financial aspect, really gives pleasure to see and I'm sure that the rest of the boxes will have other nice surprises in store for us! Now, my first "little" complaint... When we see the title of the video we imagine that you found $10,000 in cash in the locker and called the cops! It's a practice too often used by other "locker searchers" to attract visitors and I appreciated the fact that you don't use this technique "too much"... But hey, that won't stop me from impatiently awaiting the outcome of this locker, just as much as that of the sale of household items!
Jack, enjoy your videos and can see your mega-busy. But, what I would love to see with a collection like this is maybe a sit-down with your comics expert going through checking, comping and rating them. It would be nice to know, with a specialist collection like this, its general value and if there are some really rare finds......I feel sometimes like we miss out on post-video developments.
Holy WOW! Jack u certainly scored big. I'm not into comics either but watching your face made me smile big. Can't wait for the next episode. Be careful and stay safe. God bless you and your family.🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️💯
This was my favorite locker of the year. I know that buying storage lockers and selling the contents are your job but I love it when you find things that truly makes you happy. A good day on the job!
Yeah I thought about that too, Jack. Certain things, especially the collections. Comics, the coins in the bottom of that box, the albums and the list goes on. While this guy may have stolen this stuff, if you didn’t get the locker, someone else would have. I’m just glad you have a conscience. There is no way for you to know at this point, so just pray and thank God that you did get it and that it may give you a nice profit…after all, it is your job. 🙏🏻❤️
That green book in that landway Bag can have a cover that is painted with a poisonous green plant (orpiment and indigo) so be careful with it you never know with old books ( 25:33 )
I love your channel man! I also love comics!!! And I gotta tell you… those comics are AMAZING! So many key comics in that collection that I was smiling for you!!! So happy for you man!
Gotta join the “not a comic fan, but really enjoy watching your excitement and joy with this collection” club here. Also appreciated you looking up comps on some of the books. It really helps those of us who aren’t into comics understand why you get so excited over the comics.
UNOFFICIAL OPINION: Apparently the police already have been in that unit so I assume (yes I know what that means) they were not interested in the "stuff" and if they were - they would have impounded the whole unit. So it is your unit's contents to do with as you see fit. Great unit by the way. I appreciate the honesty and integrity that you have
Loved this video as always Jack. Love your enthusiasm its so infectious 😊. You bought the locker fair n square you have nothing to feel bad about! Hope you make a great profit!😊 Blessings from this Scottish Locker Nut x
I don't know anything about comics but I can appreciate the condition of the books despite how old they are! They've been cherished through the decades and it's awesome that they've landed in your hands. I'm sure it will be hard to let some of them go... you should show us the ones you intend on keeping for your own personal collection. God is good!!
Loved watching this locker opening...Had to call my son into my room when you started showing the comic books...he is a collector and has been for years...he was yelling and shouting at you about the ones that were good ones...LOL...we both would like to see what your expert has to say...please make a video of that too...what a haul you had...my son makes comics and has his own company, so this video meant a lot to him
You shouldn’t feel bad, once the police release the unit, it’s all fair game! My parents house was burglarized and many things were stolen, many of which were more valuable to us in memories over the retail value. It sucks but it’s a fact that some people are not worth the value of the elements that make up the person! Keep up the good work!
“Some people are not worth the value of the elements that make up the person”!!! Great line and I hope you don’t mind if I borrow it from time to time. I know a few people it applies to!!!!😂
Jack you are a good man with a righteous heart. The people got they're items back .So don't feel lconflicted. If you need confirmation give it to God he will show you that it's ok and like you said you never know where the contents came from and you are just doing your job and supporting your family. You bou6 the locker legally and sell items in a righteous way charging fair prices.😊Love the videos by the way and learn alot from you
Holy Christ. You pulled a 1st appearance of Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider in that Marval Spotlight 5. That book is expensive paper. Grade it. You made your money back on this one comic.
Hi Jack, the comic books are cool as hell. A great haul for you. Your enthusiasm for your chosen line of business is what keeps me watching. Like the vintage band/tour shirts. I hope you keep finding more and more cool and different stuff.
24:39 I'm having fun, Jack. I'm not into comics, but my husband is. But, and it's a big but, hehe, I AM into buying things at auction, and estate sales, yard sales, etc. I just haven't bought storage units. I do it all under a different UA-cam channel, and I only just started on WhatNot, having learned about it through you. I enjoy your videos, and as you said earlier, if someone doesn't like it, they can fast forward.
I know you probably already know by now, but in case you don't, that Marshall goes for around $500 used. And white is rare for Marshall. They usually only do white as limited runs. And it's a valve amp meaning it uses transistor tubes in it's power state and not a computer chip set like a solid state amp, so be careful when moving it as the tubes can shake loose from their socket, fall out and shatter. Tubes are expensive to replace depending on the tube size. So avoid dropping it obviously but also jarring it hard, letting it fall over from tipping etc. If you search Marshall Class 5 1x10 valve amp white, you should see an example that sold on Reverb for about $500-550 if I remember correctly. Valve amplifiers are past the beginner levels and are intended more for studio recordings and live use. I bought a Fender Hotrod Deluxe 1x12 valve amp, slightly bigger than that Marshall and used it cost me around $650.
Jack, I am old. Comic books and toys are boring. But I watch the whole way through because I enjoy hearing the excitement in your voice when you find good things. 😀 The stuff people store or will buy is interesting. The prices you quote off the cuff for items always amaze me. 🙂🙂🙂
What a great locker for you! I am glad. You were concerned about the last few lockers so this more then covers any loss you might have contracted. Jack, Rebecca the book gal from Pawn Stars says that if the old books have no date, they are 1st editions. Also books that the pretty covers people use to decorate in their home. Grace Halls book is decorative, the book The Girl of the Limber lost is decorative. They are worth a little more. Very nice locker!
The "Dear Mable: Love Letters of a Rookie" made me look it up. Looks like a bunch of letters back and forth between a young man in the army in WW1 and his "girl back home." The interesting thing for me was that my mother's parents were named Bill and Mable, and he was in the army in WW1 - for 91 days, and he'd barely gotten through basic when the armistice happened! The book itself isn't worth a lot, but made me stop and smile at some memories. Thanks!
Love the comic books. the act of steeling is discussing. know this thief has been arrested is good. From what you said you are legaly cleared the stuff is your you paid good money for it. And the good thing is, these awsome items will find a good home and the money will go to you and family and not to support a drug a addiction. looking forward to the next episode.
Wow!! If you love comics etc.then you scored here! I hope you didn't get anything that was stolen, you don't deserve to have any worry over that! Thanks for sharing this with us! Peace to All...💜💙💜
I definitely hear what you're saying about being conflicted. As you say, the police passed it and the storage facility passed it. Still, when you find lock picks and and hard drugs evidence it does make one pause. No garbage to speak of at least.
jack I grew up in Havre, MT and lived there as recently as 10 yrs ago. they have Havre beneath the streets as it was a railroad town back in the day, and the chinese family members of the men that worked on the rails, worked in the underground, It is not a place of fantastic tourism, thats about all there is to offer. it is maily flat wheat farming community in Montana. So I was shocked to see the shirt. it is pronounces Haver. but spelled Havre, thanks for sharing they had opium dens that the men would partake in after hard days work. it also had ice cream parlour, barber, almost anything above the streets town would have.
Bro..this is my dream locker im still waiting for...Those books cleaned, pressed and graded will bring 💰 💰 💰 but you already know that. Congrants on the score 👏 They dont come that often. God bless
As a 30+ year comic collector... I enjoyed the pulls you were getting out of those boxes. I bet you smiled when you got home and looked up the King-size Hulk #1. 🤘😁
I enjoy you videos. Wish some of the lockers i bought were like these. But its always like Christmas or your birthday when you start sorting through all the stuff.
When you find a wrinkled comic book or anything made of paper, iron it with a piece of typing paper or tissue paper over the pages. Make sure to use a dry iron set on medium heat. Just a hint from Granny! ♥♥♥
I love the comics...I collected as a kid and now as a reseller I will pick up small collections if I feel they are the right time frame. My favorite part is flipping through them and looking up the different ones online. I spend more time than I should doing that but really do enjoy it. Recently picked up a lot of 60 comics from a thrift store for 10 cents each. It had early Avengers and Spiderman from the 1960s...no number 1s but a few single digit comics including the first appearance of Kang the Conqueror which is a pricey book. If the police cleared it, I would not worry too much about it, as resellers anything you buy could have been stolen at some point so not worth thinking too much about it.
😂you were so excited for the comic's. I was making the same sounds for the books!!! Your lack of enthusiasm was making me shout at phone... i wanted to know what edition pollyanna was.. flea market!!! 😭😭😭 you live in california. Im in Australia. Sob. Can't make it to flea market!!
I love how excited you get over the comics after seeing the comps on some of them I would be super excited too.. Not done watching the video yet but so far my favorite find is the Grateful Dead shirt I love the Dead sow then in contrast several times.. Wow such a cool find I would have never expected it to be so expensive, now to look up my old concert tshirts.. I’m alway looking for Grateful Dead vinyls..
36:05 Jack, the paper 'ephemera' is a CALLSHEET for shooting the film Peggy Sue Got Married. It outlines the shooting schedule for the day, what scenes they are hoping to achieve, what actors and dayplayers are needed (Kathleen Turner is #1 on the Callsheet and Nick Cage is #2!). Back in the day when Callsheets were typed! That's a cool piece, maybe he worked on it.
Oh my goodness i used to work in the factory here in my village in Scotland that made those record cases. Those soft ones were the most expensive ones.
I'm a little late to this video, but I loved It! I've been a comic book collector for almost 50 years and a good chunk of my collection is The Hulk. I was hoping for a #181 for you. Maybe next video. That Hulk #102 is a good one, also.
"Girl of the Limberlost" Gene Stratton Porter. What a great cook. Great books by a California woman who wrote around the early 1900s. Collected by many fans, including me. If your girls are readers, they might enjoy the simple stories and relatable characters of her books.
Oh man I used to collect comics when I was a kid, I could watch you do that all day long haha, kinda makes me want to get into that again. Still have some, with all my upper deck hockey cards. Have a few good ones if I remember correctly
Sure you did your do diligence before releasing this Vlog pretty sure possession is 9 tenths of the law legal sale onance on facility & police have been & left in my mine it’s clean. Locker is Sweet Happy Digging Can’t Wait For More! All The Best! Be Well Be Safe & Stay Blessed. Love Your Thoroughness Take ALL The Time Your Need!!
Jack, what can you do if these things were indeed stolen? It's not like you can post an ad asking if anyone had a large comic book collection stolen from them! If you did that you'd have every crazy person hitting you up. If on the other hand each box had a " property of" name and address on it that differed from the owner of the locker, that might be another story, but they don't, so all you can do is say a prayer for them and ask God to continue to bless them. While I am thrilled for you that you knocked it out of the park with this unit and were able to geek out over the massive comic book score, my OCD is kicking into overdrive wondering what happened to part 2 of the estate sale that I thought was coming out before another storage unit video! Lmao! I even checked to see if I missed it and wasn't notified! Oh well, either way, part 2 of this locker or the estate sale will be highly anticipated! Congrats!
Hey brother Jack I have got a unit before that was full of stolen stuff that was unclaimed before. I understand where you are coming from. I felt bad but I still bought it. Found good stuff but it was kind of weird. I really enjoy your channel thanks for sharing your adventures. Keep up the great work
Those Beatle cards that are black and white are from early on because I still have 4 of them. If I remember right they came with bubble gum. I am coming up on 73 years so they are over 50 years old.
Jeez! For such a small locker this is mind blowing! Reminiscing all the old British coins n rationing books. Also Your giddiness is infectious.. ☺ As you say the police have been through this too and this was what was left. . Understand your confliction , shows your humanity but at least you appreciate the value n not just monetary. Well done. Can’t wait for part two. 👏👏👍🏻👍🏻😍
Hey Jack, can’t say that comic books thrill me but I love seeing your enthusiasm when going through stuff
Thanks! I got a little carried away with them, but they actually are even better than I thought. This really was a special and valuable collection.
I feel the same way Beth.. Jack you were definitely taken back to your youth here 🙃
It would be great if you could add more comps when going through stacks of comics
Hope you’re doing better Jack
I came on here to write the same thing. Love his excitement.
Dude, the comics you found in that locker are out of this world. So many of those comics were ones that I read too.
Jim "Croc"? Really, Jack? Really? Come on man, you don't tug on Superman's cape and you *DON'T* mess around with Jim!!! 😉
I named my old 1983 GMC truck "Leroy Brown", LOL

Awesome Jack. Your enthusiasm for the comic books is contagious and had me smiling and laughing throughout. Looking forward to the next one.
This locker is a Sentimental Journey for many of us! What a trip! Thanks for all the flashbacks. Awesome finds!!❤

🙏 Authorities aren’t watching and/or statues of limitations have run out because this is a Treasure Trove.

I agree...reminds me of how I used to be when I stumbled upon my fathers Playboy magazines when I was a youngster back in the 80s.
I love how you and ur wife go thru storage units. Please keep up the great work
The casual Grateful Dead holy grail shirt pull, insane
I liked it, but after looking up the value, I liked it a whole lot more!
UNOFFICIAL OPINION: Apparently the police already have been in that unit so I assume (yes I know what that means) they were not interested in the "stuff" and if they were - they would have impounded the whole unit. The best part of the video is watching you get excited about what you find.
Its kind of fun watching you geek out over something you like. The only comics I know anything about are Elfqeust .
Got to love it when good things happen to good people been hoping you would hit big again congrats
Loved this video as always Jack. Love your enthusiasm its so infectious 😊. You bought the locker fair n square you have nothing to feel bad about! Hope you make a great profit!😊 Blessings from this Scottish Locker Nut x

I’m a comic collector and I get excited over all the comics you find in storage. Inspires me to look at storage unit auctions in the DFW area. 😊

Thanks for sharing your connection to that story. I appreciate it! Very cool.
One of my favorite lockers in a LONG time! Love all the old comics :D
Mine too!
Comic Books Bore Me To No End! But so glad you're happy with them!
I am glad you are enjoying your comics. It my thing but happy for you! Enjoy!
Jack you brought it I think yr right in what you say so just enjoy it as I am watching great video can't wait to see part 2 🎉
Wow!! If you love comics etc.then you scored here! I hope you didn't get anything that was stolen, you don't deserve to have any worry over that! Thanks for sharing this with us! Peace to All...💜💙💜
Your such a joy to watch!!! Thank you.
OMG. These Comics are Gold!
I love that you look at everything, I always loved going through other people's stuff, you are kind of scratching my itch
Monkees trading cards were probably from late 60s. Cool memorabilia of good times past. So much better than these times.
8:22 Somebody lost their marbles 😱🤣
8:21 someone lost their marbles?! 😂💖
Are the cops and the 10000 dollars in another episode? Best wishes, Roger.
the comic books in this locker are worth upwards of $10,000 easily
Bro..this is my dream locker im still waiting for...Those books cleaned, pressed and graded will bring 💰 💰 💰 but you already know that. Congrants on the score 👏 They dont come that often. God bless
That Marvel Present #6 is the first appearance of Johnny Blaze as Ghost Rider.
The Marvel Spotlight 5 is the first Ghost Rider. You might get all your money back with that comic alone🤙
I hate those mixed feelings where you wonder back and forth like that. Always feels like there's some bad karma attached to some of those items.
Totally!
Nah! If there is any negative karma attached to the "stuff," it belongs to the thief.
I read romance comics as a child. Seeing these comics was a lot of fun. Congratulations!😊

😱Sec watch and yes having fun. But still jealous, you had so many more comics i've never seen. 😢
I watched the whole video waiting to see what $10,000 looked like and the police arriving on scene.
Sweet buy, Jack!! Lots of great comic books!!
First Moon Knight, First Shang Chi, first Ghost Rider, Avengers Annual #10 - first Rogue... You got your money's worth on just a dozen comic books.
Love comics! Marvel Spotlight #5 is 1st appearance of ghost rider. VERY GOOD $$$$ for that one!
Absolutely cannot wait for Part 2 Jack! Fantastic locker for sure!
I have a pulse and it was exciting- mostly because of how excited you are!

1:13:52 and 1:14:04 are Turntable Headshell and Pickup. I hope you still have them, you should check them, some models can be worth a lot of money.
Live 105. Steve Masters and the Master's Mix back in the day. Great Locker, Jack!

I used to get those Monkees cards out of a machine at the store. All the cards put together a puzzle. The package had gum in it
Great locker! I love when you get excited 😊
That 1 box is filled with comic book keys! Great score.
Best locker video ever. Those comics are 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Jack.
Glad you enjoyed it
@@LockerNutsI would love to find a locker like that 😊
I'm loving this locker great stuff. Loving the comics x
Glad you enjoy it!
The way you sat Sub Mariner is too funny had me rolling.
DAVES NOT HERE! 😂😂😂😂
I’d be concerned this might be stolen property, but if the items were insured, the original owners got paid. Very exciting finds!
Hey, I just always think about how you are giving the items a new life and a new story!
Congrats!
If it's been cleared by the police, it's good to go.
Thanks for sharing your process and thoughts with us.
Hey brother Jack I have got a unit before that was full of stolen stuff that was unclaimed before. I understand where you are coming from. I felt bad but I still bought it. Found good stuff but it was kind of weird. I really enjoy your channel thanks for sharing your adventures. Keep up the great work
What an interesting unit. Can't wait to see the 2nd part 😁
Those Beatle cards that are black and white are from early on because I still have 4 of them. If I remember right they came with bubble gum. I am coming up on 73 years so they are over 50 years old.
I love your videos. I have so much fun watching them! I’m a thrifter myself and a treasure hunter at heart!
Great comics bro,u did well
Seeing your excitement when you find a winner is just so fun to watch! Can't wait until the next video---too cool!
